App worked fine for first 2 weeks now as soon as I start listening it just randomly stops every 5 mins or so! very annoying I can't keep opening the app ans playing again especially when I use it a lot when driving. subscription being cancelled!!

Yeah the app is a mess. The player works but looks like something developed 10 years ago. The sorting is trash. There's plenty there, it's just half way impossible to find anything. This is embarrassing, good thing I haven't played for this garbage. Use Storytel instead, pretty much the same but... It works.

It's good, but please tell me why the hell do I need to download the app in order to read a book? It doesn't allow for me to read it on my pc, since you can't download it on there. Also another annoying thing is that you can't listen AND read the book at the same time. It would be so much easier to follow trough the book if you could read it at the same time, and not have to just go back 15 seconds every time you zone out!

Limited selection and terrible UI. No table of content, doesn't remember where I was last, support forms don't work, language choices are not working. When the UI is redone completely it's probably great but in the current state it's just not good enough

Fantastic, a lot of reading for the small price tag, it seemlessly picks up from where left off across devices accurately, something audible can't seem to do, always picking up two to three chapters back from where you left off, really annoying Look out audible, you have a worthy adversary.

A smooth and refined app. I find it rather intuitive to use and it contains most features I use/need including a sleep timer and the ability to adjust the playback speed. I have one suggestion; incorporate the ability to annotate or save notes (text) at specific locations/chapters/times. etc

I have English set as language of my phone. It switched me to offer for UK. Now I cannot create Polish account. Deleting account doesn't help. Registration webview is buggy and sometimes you can't go back. Probably support can resolve it, but this is fourth audiobook subscription service marketed to me, with mediocre book catalogue, so I think is too high bar to bother.

Great, just missing few things! Audio Books should be in chapters, not tracks. Tracks are from CDs in old days (seen in Danish version of books). It should be possible to make bookmarks. Short clips, and Share them with friends. This would also be a good commercial for BoolBeat.

Glitchy app to begin with but it seems as if the bugs have now been ironed out. Good selection of books to instantly read or listen to with a user friendly interface. The option to download is also useful.

Good, a bit expensive and the collection is varied. Mostly very good in English. Surprisingly good in Swedish and Finnish too. It's a shame one cannot both listen to the book and read it at the same time (I suppose it's to protect copyright: when reading, the app blocks all other operations including screenshot).

Only into my second book but having been an audio book fan for a long time this app is genius. Biggest issue with other sites had been the 1 book a month principle or high costs of additional books and this solves all that. I know it's more expensive than other audio book options a month but when you consider you have unlimited books, yes, unlimited, then it's an absolute steal. If you like audio books then you have got to try this. The trial period makes it even better.

Audio & text do not sync, so pretty painful to switch between reading and listening or to check images/graphs while listening (Storytel can do this, in case you are debating which one to get) Support not available via mobile (captcha not there but blocks anyway everything). Variety of books is ok, but can't really recommend the app itself.

Unless you have a credit card from one of their small list of valid countries, you can't read anything. They DO have PayPal as an option but they won't accept your cards through that either. I wouldn't be mad if it had been stated before the payment page that they had location restrictions but I got all the way through the main page and the sign-up without being told that, it was only when confirming my payment that they told me I wasn't able to use it. Deeply disappointed. It's also expensive.

Tried subscribing with my credit card, but then found out the app automatically registered me as a GB resident, which I'm not. The only option would be to contact them via mail, even though it would be far easier if they offered the option to change the country by ourselves. Please make the app more customer-friendly and customisable!

I've been using this app for 3+ years now. Truly unlimited listening, I've listened to hundreds of books. A fair few recently published, and for me a great selection. On the occasions I've had to get in touch (over 2 years ago, not had any issues since) they responded promptly.

Early days but I'm loving It. I've been an avid audiobook listener for over a decade. First CDs, MP3's then the Audible app. Average about 4 books of 15-20 hrs a month. Audible's credits, daily deals and offers saw me through the month but it was beginning to add up. I thought I'd give Bookbeat a go and so far I'm impressed. For £12.99 I can download books to my phone to listen offline. Nice and easy user interface The book choice is good. Brand new titles too. Give it a whirl!
