Edit: with the new promotion they disabled the camera consent request and only allows constant monitoring and not only when prompted/using it? Either the slowest app or just refuses to attempt to load. Wild that it prioritizes reading your location and personal phone info before you can see anything but a blank screen when you just need a code, as it has no other purpose. Infinite loading for a QR code and better to spoof than have location on solely for McDonald's...

App bugs after some orders. Old orders will get stuck in bag at checkout with no way to remove/ delete. Have to uninstall, reinstall to be able to order again. Also can't see breakfast menu after/regular menu before 11am anywhere in app which is a little annoying when trying to see what is offered at different times.

Used this app for a couple months and the user experience has worsened a lot. At first I was just using this to collect some extra points. However, I've had multiple terrible experiences with delivery time when I order through this app instead of directly from Uber Eats. Ordering at 7:43pm and not receiving my order by 9:30pm is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know if it's the app's issue or the connection with Uber Eats but I don't understand how a 20 mins estimate turns into over 1.5 hrs.

One of the worst app experiences I have to endure. I'm convinced that McDonald's purposely makes the app unusable to reduce the number of loyalty points gathered and spent. Nothing worse when you're hungry than trying to fight your way through the app to try and redeem a small fries. Any time the app fails you should be able to scan the receipt (if the printers are working!) McDonald's needs to buck their ideas up because the app is currently unusable trash.

Sometimes glitchy, but generally does what it's supposed to for pickup and eat in. UK delivery via this app is terrible. Items are frequently missing or whole orders don't arrive. My last delivery order was eaten by the driver and her husband two streets away and the promised refund didn't arrive, customer service painful and unhelpful. Final straw for any attempted delivery orders from this app. Stick to the delivery apps directly if you need delivery.

App itself is easy and rewards are great. However ordered from second time and delivery driver declared it delivered?? Delivered where, to the void? The app was little help in this instance and had to hunt for a phone number for uber eats. Really sad there's not a place to report or rate problems on the app about delivery to get assistance with issues like this.

Very hit and miss. It often takes 2 or 3 attempts to open the app. If the order is accepted, it'll probably be incorrect and may result in a staff member wandering around the car park with your food even though you opted to collect it from the drive thru. Just Eat works better.

Trash. I got it when it first came out and it wouldn't let me pay for things, but I put that down to it being new. It's been out at least 2 years now and it still doesn't work. It has periods where it works, but it's constantly crashing or not working or not loading. Can't tell how many deals I've missed out on, save the head ache and just talk to the staff.

App is very easy to use, and the bonuses come in very handy on a lean financial week. Also, the delivery charge is pretty much the same as UberEats, so ordering directly doesn't cost you any more, but it does allow you to collect the bonuses. It's a no-brainer really.

Edit - after reinstalling, and doing what I was advised from McDonald's help desk, the app is still broken...Constantly freezing, constantly and incorrectly reordering the same thing multiple times, constantly forgetting you've just ordered, unresponsive buttons, offers that don't work, peel buttons that don't work, back buttons that don't work, slow as a snail to respond, this app is garbage and needs rebuilt from the ground up. Awful experience, DO NOT RECOMMEND 1/10.

Slow, cannot connect to stores and will not award me any of my offers or rewards just forces you to spend money in app then cheats you out of anything back, basically a fancy menu thats more expensive to order from then in store. Only use if u want to keep up to date on the menu, dont expect it to work at all as advertised with the rewards, you dont actually get them only error messages when you try to redeem them.

The app used to be quite useful and worked great. However I have not been able to use the app at all for the last several weeks. It just hangs on the loading screen. I have tried wiping cache data, uninstalling and reinstalling etc, and then get a login screen but after that it just hangs and is useless again. Would be great if they could fix this!

Made it ridiculously complicated to log in, and doesn't work with mobile browsers that aren't chrome. It is even more infuriating when the app decides you need to log in again just as you arrive at the location and are ready to complete your order. So much faff, I gave up on getting anything after all, even though I was there and could have placed an order inside instead - why reward the company with custom when they've made their app so anti-customer?

Awful! The app is so slow to load, I give up in the end. I've tried uninstalling it, clearing the cache and data but it still struggled to do anything past the main loading screen. And this is all regardless of whether you're on WiFi or not. Tried just loading my code and it just grinds to a halt.

Since the latest download 7.13.0, i'm glad it's not just me. The app freezes on the white screen with golden mcdonalds arches. I've logged out the app several times, cleared cache and data about 10 times, rebooted my android phone & still nothing. Speaking to Mcdonalds they said delete the app, re-log in with same password. Get in, but when i set locations and app permissions, the app just freezes again at white screen, with golden arches. I've contacted customer services & account rebuilt.

New monopoly codes don't work. None have a barcode, only 1 typed would register but it was asking for the 2nd one. I tried to add the one it was attached to but it told me it was invalid. What's the point if it doesn't work. App is fully up to date. Even reinstalled it and its still the same.

This app is all but useless! I've been registered for ages, but after an update I get the login dialogue, enter my email and it says it will send a magic link so I don't need to login - email never arrives, even after multiple resends and even re-installs. So I can't login and retrieve my points balance. It's not in my spam folder and I receive marketing emails with no issue, so what's with this app?

Worst app experience! I scanned at the table which takes you to the app showing the table number fine. Then the silly app asks you to enter location even though location is enabled as it fails to detect the GPS. You continue to add items and every time you click Home you need to reenter location. After placing the order, you would expect to see the order placed against the table but it goes to Pickup options. Even though you keep clicking I am here already the app cant identify the location!!!
