Description of JW Library

JW LIBRARY is an official app produced by Jehovah’s Witnesses. It includes multiple Bible translations, as well as books and brochures for Bible study.

Bible
• Choose from various Bible translations.
• Compare all available Bible versions by tapping a verse number.
• View the associated material by tapping a footnote marker or reference letter

Navigation
• Swipe left or right to quickly navigate your current publication.
• Place bookmarks at any verse or chapter to quickly resume your reading.
• Use the history feature to quickly access recently read content.
• Find words or expressions in your current publication with the search feature.

Love the app. It's the best. With the new shuffle options for the original songs I'm having a problem. Both myself and my when using the shuffle option for original songs it's skipping really bad. Any fix for that? Other then that I use the app everyday for all things spiritual. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Jehovah

This is my most used app. I use it every day. I appreciate the notes, explanations, and pictures in the Study Bible, as well as the option to add personal notes. I love the ability to share links with others directly from the app and the added feature to start audio from any paragraph or verse. Very helpful & convenient! Thank you!!

I like the app. I have it on Roku Smart TV also. Many videos/audios. I am trying to download the Bible to my jump drive so I can listen to it on my Digital player outside, that also plays MP3 media files. It HAS to be on a jump drive. I downloaded it to Cloud, but from there on I can't even download to my micro disk which has over 30 GB's of space. It is installed in my phone. If I could get it from Cloud to my micro disk, I could then put it on my Digital player. But it doesn't do ANYTHING.

Overall still the #1 app on the play store for downloadable versions of the Bible and christian library collections; but there is a problem with the system operating in the more recent Galaxy phones that makes audios on the phone unavailable and even unstreamable, if y'all could fix this bug that would be great. Still love the app. Would just like to have a reader-a-long like usual!

I really enjoy studying the bible with this app however, sometimes after having highlighted all my answers while studying, the action of scrolling up or down causes me to accidentally highlight the entire article or a large portion of the article, thus overlapping all my previous highlighted answers, causing me to lose them and having to rehighlight them. It would be good if there was a way we were prompted to confirm if we want our highlights to be replaced.

Phenomenal! I really do like this app. There is ZERO ads. It's convenient. It's accurate. There is MORE THAN ONE BIBLE, if you prefer king james version, if you prefer the study bible or new world translation. All kinds of different languages. You can add what you want to favorites, bookmark items. There is Children activities and my children listen better, they're more appreciative. There's even helpful advice for teenagers. It really is a All-in-one app. I appreciate it. 2 thumbs up!

I appreciate having everything I need in my pocket. Makes it very easy to direct any conversation to a spiritual place, especially with all the different languages and different Bible versions. *Side Question* Is there a button or tab which gives access to all of our bookmarks? I find that I tend to lose bookmarks that I've made in various publications because I have to go through each one to figure out where my bookmark is, especially the magazines. Thank you so much for all your hard work

The interface and features offered just keep getting better. My only wish is being able to actually write ON the literature itself (i.e. watchtower study notes) with an apple pencil or something similar. Being able to attach notes to highlights is cool and all but let's be honest, it's kind of a pain in the butt. Still though, I love this app so kudos to the brothers who designed it 👍.

having JW Library on hand is very useful, you have all the scriptures and literature and stuff all on one app and it's very easy to use, really like having all the JW videos on hand to😁😁 [It is still great, but I've come across something.... I think its from having too many publications downloaded, now it won't open. This happened to my tablet and I had to wipe the data for it to work, I really don't want to do that for my phone....😓]

Very nice features. I've noticed though that there is an issue with keeping your place when either your mobile device screen orientation changes, or your screen shuts off. It's like it has to do serious calculations to get back to the point you were at. Why cant it just save the state and recall it? I tried to give a comment recently during the Watchtower and it messed me up because as I reached for the microphone, the screen orientation changed and it couldn't get my place back :(

Amazing Accurate and Free!!! Easy to navigate. Highly recommended for all ages and almost every language ever spoken. Easy replacement choice for good wholesome entertainment and educational. Only gets more awesome with each update. They add new features on a regular basis, yet it only becomes easier to use. We now have access to many older publications and the new article series answers many useful questions. Plus the wealth of videos. The integration of the research guide for in-depth study. Thank you for all the information at hand. I just wanted to say sometimes my app freezes while I'm using it. I don't have other app but this running and I've reset my phone. I have a galaxy note it works wonders, but for about 5 months this has be going on and off... but these past days it's freezing and I have to force shut down the app or force restart my phone. When it freezes it's a hard hard freeze and sometimes my home bottom takes a while to get off the app. Thank you again :)

Really nice app. The team have done a wonderful job of making a very useful tool readily available. A few suggestions I'd like to recommend though: *** For all platforms, the ability to select multiple videos/audio to download at once. Especially for videos as having to select resolution manually for every video is tedious. If installing JWL on a new device, this makes this task very time consuming *** Media horizontal scroll: For PC have a horizontal scroll bar under the list of media so we don't have to use the scroll wheel. Or the ability to Click-Drag Left/Right to quick scroll. Scroll wheel doesn't always work properly or scrolls too far, depending on user settings *** Video Default Download Option: Perhaps have the option to set the "default" resolution for a device. On PC, I want 720p. On my phone, I could use 480p. *** Publication View Options: Have the ability to view the Publications/Media either in the current mode, or ability to have them listed in "List View", where the items are listed Top/Down with options to the right for each type of media. *** On PC: In the Study section Arrow Left/Right can move between pages. Touch devices can swipe, but PC users have to click on the small buttons.

LOVE THIS APP. CLEAR AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. I do wish when I search for a certain scripture the site would use the entire phrase such as "in the power of the wicked one" instead of taking the words separately. Power is taken by itself so I get a lot of scriptures, but not the one I want that says, "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.." It would be a lot faster if the whole phrase was matched instead.

JW Library is a really great tool for anything study as far as Theocracy is concerned. I love the way you can have all study material at your fingertips. Just by way of suggestion, though it would be really nice if downloads in progress can be paused. This would be helpful in cases of fluctuating network. You can easily pause the download when the network goes bad and then resume from where you stopped when the network comes back instead of starting all over. With much love and appreciation.

I love that the audio is on here for so many written works! I can just hit play and it keeps going so I don't need to stop cleaning to start the next chapter. Plus so many great features that allow me to actually study (look up info quickly and switching btwn books and bookmarks is fairly easy too). As close as technology can get you to the actual experience of studying with physical books. Excellent job on this app!

One very key update was missed. The app still tries to force open files that arent meant to be opened by the app without permission. There's no setting to do this from happening. Anytime I try to open certain file types not related to the use of this app they default to this app and it crashes my phone. Please fix this issue. Thank you.
