Just like everyone else, since the update the app is trash. Incorrect version of the Bible on my verse of the day and I can't change it, I don't like the narrator and no matter how much I change it, it never saves my changes. If you let the app play in the background, when you reopen the app it resets to the home page and you lose your place, ect ect. So many glitches and issues that it's pretty frustrating to use every day.

Oct 2023: Great app overall, but the newest update broke some things. The daily journal area now only shows one line, and editing is difficult and frustrating. It used to be possible to see who in the group liked a comment. That was nice but now is gone. There used to be a calendar and that is gone. So going back to a certain date requires a lot of scrolling. I'm posting this hoping that developers will get the message. Also, when editing a previously saved comment, the changes are not saved.

10/16/23 update problems. I strongly dislike the new GUI. As a general rule of thumb, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." It wasn't broken and the changes are largely arbitrary and are not improvements. Highlighted text is now barely discernable when highlighted. Verse numbers are basically invisible when display is set to follow system mode and it is set to "Dark Mode". All my progress after 226 days into 2-yr plan has been lost. Switching to BlueLetterBible.

I really like this app and use it basically everyday. But I can no longer navigate within the chapter in the audio version of the new update. All I can do is play and pause. This is hinders usability for me and is frustrating. Plus there are other issues that other users have mentioned. Thank you for creating this app! And thanks in advance for fixing the glitches.

Not been able to create new color highlights? I love this app. I am so grateful is free and no ads show up in it. The only issue I find with this new update is that I can't create new color highlights. I use a complex color highlighting system but I don't have all the colors available it makes it less of an improvement than the previous update. The toned down highlight colors don't bother me too much, but I wish the feature to create new highlight colors would come back!

The latest update has messed up a good thing. It won't save the font I chose and goes back to default font when I leave and come back later to read. When I go to change the font, it is checked on correct font; however, doesn't display correctly until you click on it again. Next is the read along feature when using the audio. I used to be able to follow along while it read scripture and it would scroll with what was being read. Not anymore. Please fix issues ASAP! Very disappointing.

Honestly this last update is not all that user or sight friendly. Now the app seems more complicated Example: when reading a text, I was able search for other translations, select a version, I can continue reading the text in the new selection. Also to create an image with a scripture text is a nightmare, you have to keep going back and forth to get it like you want it. The color palette "option" is awful! Overall the changes have made our usage complicated and frustrating! Change it back!

New update changed so much. It was user friendly before but no longer. It's frustrating to maneuver around now. When you "sample" a plan now, you can't back all the way to the beginning as before. Now it backs you out one page at a time (depending on how much one viewed). Annoying! Thankful the old version is still available on Kindle. Disappointed that I can't have my bible on my phone. Too frustrating to use. Wish to go back to previous version!

Many times, when I am doing a study with friends and write my response and hit send, it just disappears. After several tries, it sometimes works and often doesn't. This is frustrating and disheartening. Also, with new update, I can no longer see what I our anyone else in my group wrote after the study is finished. When listening to the text the screen moves to far and cannot see the text where they are reading from. Have to fight against the auto scroll to read along. New updates are terrible!

New update is terrible! The audio is all messed up playing a different chapter than it's supposed to. The chapter search section is all messed up with the drop downs. And when you are searching, sometimes it doesn't register. The play button is in a bad spot. When I wanted to skip to the next chapter, I accidentally hit the play button. The auto read is off! This was a great app. Stop trying to fix what's not broken.

Latest update is awful. Instead of making it easier/better, it is more difficult and actually hinders us from reading in the app. We are 3/4 of the way through a yr long Chronological plan and the new update has made it very hard to carry on in the app. All the features we enjoyed & helped us are gone. Please bring back the previous features (audio, auto advance to the next set of verses, highlighting, etc) so that we can finish strong! Until then, back to a physical Bible to finish the plan.

Please change the narrator settings back so that they don't have to be changed every chapter on a plan! 1x is so very slow, and the speed doesn't save the way it used to. I love this app and use it multiple times a day, but even the latest updates haven't fixed this. My narration settings change even if I pick the phone up. Please change it back!

I absolutely LOVE this app! The last large update was great, I really like it. It makes it SO much easier for me to pick which chapter & verse in whichever book I want to read because it simply comes in the form of a drop-down "menu" now. Could you please fix the glitches that even after I change my profile picture, it keeps reverting to the prior one, and when in audio Bible mode it almost always skips a short passage ahead of the narrator, and it never keeps my place anymore.

Lots changed with the latest version and little for the better. 1. When playing audio of bible, it no longer tracks location. 2. Current day isn't default in reading plan even when up to date. 3. Audio playback speed isn't saved from one day to the next. 4. When creating a verse image, there's no way to reshape the text box, only zoom. 5. Text box doesn't snap to center when positioning. A great app just got frustrating.

Hate the newest update - 10/2023. App is a lot more buggy. Simple things have changed and become an annoyance. I can't change the translation or version. The audio doesn't follow along with the text. If I'm behind in a study plan, I can't go to missed days and go as far back as needed. And usually I like change, but the new look is not doing it for me, mostly because it's less user friendly and less obvious to navigate.

Update: really pleased with how quickly the problems in the update were identified and fixed. The latest update has made using the app cumbersome. It's difficult to choose a specific verse now. You choose the book and then when you click the chapter, it goes back to the list of books. You can't choose a specific verse. You have to scroll to find it. On compare, I used to be and to click another version but that is not an option any longer. Really a lot of problems with this update.

Don't like the new GUI, too much screen real estate taken up by the navigation bars on top and bottom, and they pop up and don't go away too much. Very distracting. Also font selector is broken, gets stuck on fonts and won't change. Also the book/chapter selector doesn't work properly either- it just pops up the chapters of the current book without being able to select a different book. Please revert back to previous UI, it was great... Why change a good thing?

I loved this app and used it daily as my primary scripture reading and study tool. However, these latest updates have me seriously contemplating going back to ink and paper. It often doesn't want to go to the chapter and verse I click, switching versions is glitchy, highlight colors are subdued, and I no longer have the option to customize highlight colors. The older version of the app was great. Why change it? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
