Recently I've had issues with the app crashing and freezing my phone unprovoked. Even with fast connection and a new phone w/ plenty of space, the app with freeze everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Can't swipe out the app, can't swipe/tap the screem, and the audio from the tiktoks continue playing even after I shut the app. This platform is going down hill. 👎

Honestly, it's a good app. And I don't struggle too much posting edits or content. The only issue is though is that, recently, I've been struggling to even get in the app! Everytime I try and open it, it crashes! Sometimes it will tell me "Tiktok is working due to misconfigureations, please press this to fix them" and then it crashes again!! I have to uninstall and reinstall just to have 1 session of watching it! Really, really annoying

I got this a few months back, and it's a great app! I don't have much complaints, though it gets really glitchy time to time. Sometimes, when I try to post something it just goes to 99% and stops there and deletes the entire video I just worked so hard on, and now I have to start from scratch. I haven't pressed anything whatsoever, however I just find it really troublesome having to stress over posting videos PRAYING it won't delete.

though the app is great for videos, the shop is pretty unsafe in my opinion. multiple items I've ordered was flagged for safety problems and automatically canceled. I had another package with multiple items I've waited for over a month on to be told there was a logistics error and the items weren't on the way and they have to try and contact the carrier before refunding me any money. Though I've received a few items on tiktok, the majority I've never received. just use temu yall

Fix your editor.. 1 mil + followers so I have a lot of experience. With this new update, when I go to splice the video (editor) it takes me all the way back to the beginning. This is very cumbersome when editing a 10 minute video. Very very annoying please fix this glitch. All I do is put a splice in and it goes all the way back.

As much as I love the creators and art on the app, it's UI frustrates me to no end. With every update, I lose a feature that made things easier for me. I lost the timeline so I can't scrup through videos. I have no search bar for my following list so I have to search for people I follow in the main search bar, which is a hassle. When looking through people's TikToks on their page, the page will scroll down as you keep going through their videos. But doesn't do this on your favorites So annoying

Here are my main two takes on tiktok: 1 - I miss the old way that we browsed for filters and whatnot. It was a lot more organized and easy than that weird little carousel we have now. 2 - when we go through our collections and unadd a video from our favorites, it automatically takes us to the top of the most-recently-saved posts; it's really annoying, especially if we scrolled down really far and are automatically taken to the top again.

the app itself isn't that bad in fact I still have it, it's the ads that piss me off. I was just minding my own business trying to read when I get hit with a tik tok ad. Not at all a problem if it was just the one ad. I had to sit through 5 different tik tok ads one right after another. what I mean by that is I got the ad, clicked the x and it brought up an interactive ad instead of a video. I had to click the x 4 more times after that. I shouldn't have too deal with that. what the hell tik tok.

Aweful experience! When listening the audio cuts in and out. When scrolling, it gets to a point very quickly where it won't scroll any further and I have to close the app and restart it. Just got enough followers to join a LIVE but when I do, even though I have 4/5 bars on Verizon 5G, it says "Connect to internet and try again". OVERALL, A VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE!

I installed this app for one person. After a few months of regular use, the app will no longer allow me to send that one person videos. I can see what they share and send text, but I can't use this app for it's designed purpose. I reached out to support on September 21 after the issue had existed for a week. I reached out again on September 26/27 and October 1/3/10. Not so much as a "we working on it". Apps fine when it works, but once it breaks it's done. Uninstalling now.

I love the app, but if you could PLEASE let tiktok's save to their own folder rather than my camera roll that would be amazing. It's such a simple but useful change. Edit: I am once again asking for the above change. Tiktok downloads don't have any sort of tag to them or anything so it's really annoying having to move them all manually. Additionally these weird promos are damn near every video nowadays.

A Well made App, A good interface with texting videos and search bar. But the algorithm is a little unpredictable at times and can make the experience less enjoyable, also this app is being banned in some areas because of the way it's shown to children. Over all I give it 3 stars, I've been holding off on it, but I'm downloading it because its more popular. I recommend this app if you don't like YouTube shorts or any other short form of video.

Why take away the search feature for followers/following lists? This is a really useful and important feature. Taking away functionality/features is never a good thing. This makes the app way more difficult to navigate and therefore less enjoyable. Also, those lists should be able to be sorted numerically and alphabetically. Lastly why is there no dark mode. Make the app better not worse. *Edit: search bar is back

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the application, as it shows such a variety of the human experience. It feels like what the internet was made to be. I understand the algorithm pushes more of what's interesting to me, yet, I am still able to search for other things and have them shared with me without it becoming the only thing I get or marginalized. it's not bogged down by multiple commercials and advertisements, which, in most apps, take away the enjoyment of the experience.

This app is so hard to use. They got rid of the options to change speed 10X and crop frames. You try to do a voiceover, but you don't know how long it needs to be until after you've recorded the vocals... But after you're done recording, you can't go back and trim the video to the proper length to match your words without erasing the whole thing and starting over. You can't just upload your own audio track either. It's almost useless at this point.

terrible experience. I've had this app for over a year and not once have I been disappointed until today. the app refuses to open, I've restarted my device countless times and it still won't budge. I've deleted the app and tried to reinstall it in hopes that it would work then, but it still wouldn't work. please suggest ways that I can fix this, as it is quite annoying. thank you.

I wanna give this 5 stars, but recently everytime I make covers for my videos and upload them, a few minutes later the covers completely change. A few days later the videos will go back to my original cover, but a few hours later, it'll change again and its annoying because I want my viewers to know what the videos are about if they are browsing my page. Also, everytime I'm editing a video, and I'm nearly done, the app crashes, forcing me to do the video all over again.

overall a good app but recently I haven't been able to open it. I see the tik tok logo when pressing on the app but then it just goes to a black screen and crashes. I've had this problem before, a few months back and solved it by deleting and reinstalling the app. I guess I'll just do that again, but it would be great if whatever problem is causing this could be lifted as it's not great to lose all my drafts with the deletion.
