Too many ads and upgrade to premium buttons all over. No auto tracking on basic version. I made some drives, did the manual start as its the only available option on basic free version and it did not track my miles, it stayed on 0 while it displayed tracking on the app. clicked stop and then start again and same thing. checked settings, everything seems set up but it still didn't record any miles driven. Other apps work fine.

My business offered this expense platform to us free of charge. Now their contract has expired and I was automatically converted to the free version. I had a couple of issues where I was able to reach out via chat and Kristen the chat agent was able to help me out and get everything cleaned up for me. The customer service was fantastic and this app makes doing my taxes a breeze for my accountant. I highly recommend!!

What was free is now paid so it is now like every other mile tracking app....but not as good or well established...if you're going to pay, go with mileIQ they don't wait 1/4-1/2 mile to start auto tracking like Hurdlr does. Update 11/30/2018....there was a free trial to use the auto track that just ended.....0% accuracy. Today I drove 156 miles between 12 trips. The tracker recorded 7 trips and 40 miles. It missed two back to back 40 mile trips! If you have to open your phone to manually turn on and off the app to get an accurate tracker, you might as well just open up notes and input time and mileage and track it the old fashion way....they are way too focused on the other automatic features but all of that revolves around a working tracker. The app is broken. DEFINITELY not worth paying for.

A really useful mileage and expense tracking app. The customer service is exceptional! You can name addresses and vendors and can choose from multiple category options for personal & business expenses and trips. It's quite easy to use and they are very responsive to questions. Photograph your receipts, input information and keep your books in order on the fly.

I hadn't even been using the app for even a minute before I encountered an error that wouldn't let me even finish my account setup. This seemed like the best option among many for business deductions, but if I can't even register it doesn't bode well for the rest of the app. I'll be looking elsewhere I guess. The error in question was an "Authorization Error" because Hurdlr's in app browser doesn't comply with Google's secure browser policy.

Its hit or miss! Most of the time no matter what I do, GPS on, app permission for location turned on, it will not automatically track mileage. More often times than not in have to manually input my milage which kind of just makes it a piano to use. It would also me nice for the app to give address suggestions as you input a location. Also if it could count the mileage for you as well. When I have to put mileage in manually, it doesn't calculate the mileage, I have to use google maps.

Great app. Very useful. Except, when you get a notification and you're able to tag it as business or personal, it still pulls you into the app. The app opens and if it still doesn't recognize the item as something usual, you still have to swipe it to the category. If I'm given the option to tag it as business on the notification bar, I should not have to waste time having the app open and still having to tag the item. It's very annoying. It interrupts other things that I'm doing.

Changed to 1 star as they hide the monthly premium option unless you ask, if you cancel your free trial before it ends they'll take it away (vs letting you finish the time like every other app), support doesn't read your messages, just sends you canned nonsense that in no way answers your question, time tracking is SUPER clunky and needs an overhaul, and as for expenses/income tracking - it only pulls what it THINKS might apply, not every transaction. A good first effort but needs so much work.

first of all, I dont pay for apps... BUT this one is worth it. I own my own business and this app makes it so easy to track mileage and credit card expenses. I used to try to keep a log of each trip I made and hold on to receipts; those days are over! EXCELLENT customer service as well, they respond to my messages fast and processed a refund within an hour. Just upgraded to the annual plan.

I LOVE this app. The automatic mileage tracker ensures i never miss a deduction and i love the integration of my income and expenses as well. The app is so smart and has figured out that some places I have expenses are always for a certain business so I don't even have to designate them anymore! A must-have for any small business owner or independent contractor, especially if you travel a lot.

So far so good. I have only been using it for a few months to help me track my mileage and experiences for GrubHub and UberEats. I haven't used any of the report yet or explored all the features. I found it works best if you used the Bluetooth feature to connect with your car to be more accurate, and that way you don't have to input everything manually.

Works Great. Been using app for a little over a year now. Couldn't ask for a better mileage tracker. Also tracks income and expenses and will then produce your Schedule C. App is easy to setup and use on a daily basis. Helps to calculate your quarterly taxes for your business, but also takes into account W-2 wages and tax payments if you choose to enter this information. You can also adjust your filing status as it changes. Overall great app, highly recommended, and the cost is tax deductible!

minimalist account tool, easy for anyone. I like it. There are changes I'd make. 1. Not everyone pays yearly tax, Some monthly, quarterly, or bi-anual. You can make payment entries, but it auto totals for the year. 2. You should be able to set tax % manually for state and fed. 3. BIGGEST OF ALL, SquareUp has a debit card. The only expenses Hurdlr finds is payment processing fees. So my purchases and expenses I have to manually input. I won't pay for an auto-fill plan until its fully integrated.

I have been using the app for a couple weeks after the company mandated it. The mileage tracking is awful. Some trips don't register at all while others have starting and stopping points no where near where I'm located. One instance the location was over 3 miles form where I was sitting. All settings are fine. App mileage tracking just doesn't work right. Using a OnePlus 7 Pro on Verizon. App is good for easy expense tracking.

Automatically tracks your mileage so you don't have to remember to write down your odometer numbers, plus you can manually track pay and expenses (including receipt pictures) for tax purposes on the free version. I'll probably be upgrading to the paid version. A must have for any 1099 employee who drives, or for anyone needing to be reimbursed for mileage by an employer.

Very convenient. Just set it and forget it, and it will keep track of all the expense info for you, whether it be mileage or monitoring your bank and credit cards for potential business expenses. It's better suited for the self-employed individual than the bigger name apps like Quickbooks. It's simple to use, yet expandable for when business grows. Highly recommended, especially for self-employed drivers.

I started using this to track my business expenses and mileage when it was TaxBot. The transition has been easy. Customer service is attentive and helpful over message through the app. Tracking mileage is one of my favorites - very easy, just swipe left for personal or right for business. There is also a way to upload receipts and a spreadsheet is available at the end of the year to share with your tax person. I recommend trying this! 🙂

I'm rating this app poorly because it does not work properly! I set it up to record my mileage automatically when I start moving because I have had a problem with other apps because I can never remember to turn them on manually before I start working for the day! For some reason this app is not recording my mileage when I'm driving, even though I had it set and save for automatic!
