Works then doesn't........mostly didn't and now doesn't at all. Not a great experience tbh looking like a complete tool in cafes and restaurants tapping away like an idiot. Am away to try the samsung wallet instead. Edit: google wallet is what holds my different card details and wifi symbol tap to pay. Am UK based currently in Belgium. Edit2: all that was done this morning. Quite simply the app has stopped working.

All Google apps now yellow. The recent update means the eye comfort shield is stuck on Gmail, wallet, search etc even when it's turned off on my phone. Makes it impossible to actually read things. I've contacted support who were useless and now I'm stuck with a yellow background to everything.

It lets the user turn on NFC using the app, but no way to turn it off.. I would use it more often if there was an easy way to turn OFF NFC from the app, since it could be a potential security risk having it on all the time.

In general very good app! UI could be slightly improved to make it more "organized". For example, having dedicated sections for loyalty cards, airplane/train tickets, and payment cards. In general UX is very good!!

I want to add a barcode pass to my Google Wallet account and on the official help page it states there's an option to do so via photo but it isn't there. I called for support and, they kept saying we need 24-48 hours. Now as of the last time they replied that, it's been a week, so I can assume my case has been abandoned. Why even have a help article that doesn't exist or even work. If it USED TO exists, then remove it so I ain't wasting my time. If that option no longer exists then say that

Useful having all your cards in one place but a search function would be really useful. When you're stood at a shop checkout, the last thing you want to be doing is scrolling through a load of cards trying to find the one you need, especially when they're not even sorted in alphabetically order. Its like finding a needle in a haystack.

Sometimes it works other times it doesn't, keeps saying hold fone longer over card machine, even when you do this it still won't work, this happens even when using at different shops, not reliable!, still have to carry my c/c around as back up, I've tried switching fone off & on to see if it will work,this helped a few times , but 4,5 times I've used it since, still won't work.

You need to move the point at which it asked for your phone number to the very beginning when you open the App... Because its REALLY annoying that it Randomly ask for your finger print when you're in the Drive-Thru trying to scan. It should ask for your fingerprint as soon as you open the app and then just work properly... It is the stupidest thing ever when you go to Scan, and it goes "Derrrrp i need yer Finger print Derrr" ... Fix that and ill give 5 Star

Stopped working for my primary debit card after the update. The problem is with tap to pay on my Google wallet. At first the payments started getting declined, then I tried to remove the card and add it back, this is where I can't even add it back. Spoke to my bank, it's all good from their end.

The new update has effectively disabled my ability to use my phone to pay for things. Yesterday, prior to update it worked fine, today after update its useless. This issue needs to be sorted and soon. I am using google wallet and in the UK. I do have a phone case but that shouldn't be an issue. I also tried without the case and it worked once but then stopped

2 Brand new Pixel 8 Pros. Fully updated, app and device. Neither phone will let me add my GA DL to Wallet despite instructions being posted in multiple places. The only option is Maryland. If I am on Google's latest and greatest device that isn't even a week old, how is it I don't have this option? It would be one thing if it was on one phone but on two? Google One support had no idea at all. That's a problem.

Really frustrating experience, having issues adding any of my 5 credit cards to the smartwatch, all of which are already in use in wallet through nfc, are supported according to the posted banks and cards table by Google and are all visa and Mastercard. Stuck in contacting bank with no prompt. Only managed to get an AMEX card added that I am actually cancelling in s couple of weeks. It can't be the banks when all fail...and are already added to my account and wallet

Its a bit difficult to navigate card by card. But this is the only app to allow everything to be added to it without limitations. Which more than makes up for a slow navigating experience in the apk UI.

No option to authenticate every purchase with a fingerprint as the phone is held over the reader just in case someone else has phone and is keeping screen on (ideal for vulnerable people). This would apply regardless of lock screen status.. Hold up to reader, pops up transaction info and use fingerprint screen remains locked too (Fingerprint only too no pin) Tracking previous transactions has gone down hill. Update: Google wallet, UK. No name next to card

The app was working absolutely fine the whole time I have been using for over a year, however over the last week it is no longer working as when I place to any card reader it is as though NFC is off no transaction at all from the app. I have cleared the cache, data, uninstalled the app and removed my payment methods from the account to add again and still not working. This is being Google Wallet in UK

Dire. Keeps removing my cards within hours of adding them, despite me having changed nothing...unusable. A shadow of the former app gpay was... Too add, I have been in contact with Google wallet support (it happens in both gpay and wallet) and played email tennis for 2 months to no avail ending in them escalating it, and I've heard nothing for the last 2 months... Pityful. I'm now using Apple pay on my work phone instead, not ideal, but it works.

Moving back to Google Pay until end of service or until they enhance security on this. How can you leave an app like a wallet without an option to lock it via a different PIN/password? By only relying on screen lock, you're basically only allowing one point of failure before someone has access to something as important as payment information. Edit: Google response basically shows they didn't even read my feedback.

A lack of seemingly basic features (such as the ability to pay only when the app is open) makes Google Pay quite a frustrating experience when attempting to scan eTickets. Having to manually turn off NFC every time I want to scan a barcode at a ticket barrier isn't a great experience.
