I like it that the app is reliable. I enter my data and it's there. It blends easily when linked to other accounts and is extremely user friendly. Not at all complicated.

Marcus has been so great, the more I put in...the more the interest applies! It's been such a beneficial part of my savings and because its through another entity I would understand some would be scared but it allows the choice of whether or not you really need that purchase and honestly it's out of sight out of mind you just let it sit and it grows more than your average savings 🤙

Generally, a good app. A big defect: I didn't find a way to assign nicknames to linked external accounts. It doesn't not let me distinguish between a saving and a checking external accounts, numbers of which ends on identical 4 digits.

I would say this is almost a perfect app except that I would love for Marcus to include bucket features. Bucket features kn your savings account like SoFi and Ally does that allows you to split your money into different categories within the same high yield savings account. Honestly, thinking about transferring my money outside of Marcus just because of that feature not being available.

Good app, terrible banking experience. App works just fine, but it's clear Goldman Sacs needs to get out of the checking/savings business. They have no idea what they are doing and have put me in a serious bind trying to close on my house. They hold your money for 90 days but no where in the deposit agreement does it say this. Waited on hold forever for a supervisor to prove to me this policy. It's not there. So my cash now has to go back to the original bank and further delays my closing.

Easy to use, great interface. Only downside is that it asks you to enable fingerprint login each time you sign in. There should be an option to permanently decline so you don't need to constantly click through this screen.

Used for years; always a decent APR. The star loss is because lately after initiating a transfer (deposit), the funds do not become available for >10 days! That's an extraordinarily long time for an ETF transfer! Not great if one needs the money quickly. In their defense, the deposit usually start earning interest within 1 day, which is what matters to me. It's a trustworthy savings acct with good rates. My Empower Cash acct pays a *slightly* higher rate, but Marcus is just much nicer overall.

Not very user friendly. Keep asking me to re-login despite having turned on fingerprint authentication. Works for a short while then gets msg to re-login "for security reasons". What's the point of fingerprint authentication if I have to keep using my password to re-login!

Mediocre app. Can't set alerts when card is used. Takes too long to do anything. Has repeatedly made double payments due to slow actions. Payments usually go through but rarely get confirmation. I only know my bill is paid when it comes out of my bank. Lastly, the devaluing of points means I don't earn as much discount on a new car as fast as I used to. Will cancel card as soon as i buy my next car (problem with bank/GM, not specifically the app).

This app is getting so buggy, it's starting to make me uneasy about my money. A lot of dead screens that never load (including the main home tab after login) and disjointed confirmation pages that show "null" instead of your bank information when confirming your transfers. Just yikes. The accounts page still updates regularly enough and the information is all up to date and correct. But otherwise all the other optics are broken. Bad look for a big bank like Goldman Sachs.

I've been using the Marcus app since they launched it, and like a lot of other users, recently I noticed that the first page of the app wasn't loading. Deleting and reinstalling fixed the issue. I like the simplicity of this app. I have it connected to another bank and credit card so I get a quick overview of my finances, and the monthly spending feature is helpful. And it's a simple thing, but I appreciate the welcome message and quote on the first page.

After a few months, still not a service that has an intuitive design, unlike the former app for Chevy that everything worked nearly perfect. The point system for Chevy worked without issues on the former app, this one won't connect to my account. As for alerts to a minimum give me a heads up for all transaction, unlike the former app that would give me instant heads up, nothing unless they attempt to stop a possible transaction, and that's only through email.

The app looks good and snappy. I initially had a problem setting up a new account using the app but it ran into an error. Had to call a few times and still couldn't get it resolved. I was about to give up but decided to try again using the website and that went through smoothly. Wish my initial experience was better using the app to open the account. I would rather to not have the feature to open an account using the app if it is broken.

Terrible app. Has a screen telling me there is an issue with my account and it can't be used and to call them. The same screen pops up everytime I log in I've called numerous times and everyone tells me that they don't see any issues with my card. My card works if I use it so just seems like some type of a bug but after months you would have expected it to have been fixed.

Really well thought out app. It's nice looking and works really well for almost everything you can do on the full website. The UX design is a bit lacking though. It looks very nice and sleek but it's hard to figure out what is a button/link and what is just a color box or basic text.

Terrible app. Difficult to use. Can't sign in to more than one account with completely reentering new info. Capital One GM was excellent. I've had nothing but problems from day one of this transition. Marcus can't even send me the correct cards. I would totally cancel this account if it weren't for my rebates.

It's great.. except when I had auto draft set up for every check it took it early one day when it was supposed to transfer on the 31st and I was charged two fees from my bank. They only gave me one back and they were $39 a piece. So I was extremely upset and had to cancel the auto transfer... other than that the online convenience of the app and navigation is good. I like having an account overall with Marcus too.

Needs streamlining and simplifying. Notifications are disabled on Android. And I agree with a previous reviewers that the front page has wasted space. Just completely remove the useless quotes or redundant colored banner that take up half the screen. Remove the splash screen that loads when we log in. Increase speed of loading time from point of signing in & going straight to our detailed balances. It's a banking app, extra graphics are not needed. I want to navigate less and scroll less.
