Definitely puts a comical twist on helping you to manage your money. I needed a cash advance quick, and Cleo was the only one there when I needed it. Within 10 minutes, cleo funded my account with the advance I was approved for. So far, no complaints, and I don't forsee there being any issues in the future. Definitely give Cleo a try. really needed an advance after having brain surgery and being on a brief leave of absence from my job [only 3 months] pay checks still visible in my connected bank, was only offered a measly $20 dollars and of course there was the $5.99 fee + $3.99 if I wanted it anytime soon.. so, yeah.. not worth it for me.. and did not help me get through my situation any easier. kinda added to it.

So far so good... The only complaint I have is the bank I'm currently using for my direct deposits cleo isn't picking up as an actual bank, cleo is picking it up as a prepay account which is unfortunate because it won't allow me to use the cash advanced feature. Hopefully this bug gets fix relatively soon so I can use that function. But as of right now I'm just using cleo as a credit builder. Hopefully I'll be able to use all the functions of the cleo app like saving function or cash advance.

ok so I took a break from this app and really needed money had 1.00 in my account but i had to pay 5.99 in order to get an advance so i borrowed 10 from someone to put in my account to be able to get the advance and i wad approved for TWENTY DOLLARS!! pointless! First you have to have money to get borrow then you get so little it doesn't make it worth it! basically I paid 10 to borrow 10! 5.99 monthly fee plus 3.99 instant transfer. I'll never use this again 😞

At First I thoughtt this App was good until I realized they are just another GREEDY App looking to take Extra from people that clearly don't have it. The canclled my Subscription for no reason without my request. Charged me $7.99 on of the repayment amount and then forcede to get a new subscription. B because I chose the lowest amount the $5.99 as opposed to the $14.99!!! plan, they Made my Advance LESS than it was before. There are other Apps that's not that sneaky.

Horrible app!!! There is no way of getting in contact with them if you have an issue with their account. You will literally have to close your checking account to keep them from taking their subscription fees out. They don't have any money and their loans are 20 dollars. I make over 6 figures a year and the best they could do for me was 20 damn dollars. They are truly pitiful. They won't send a code to verify my account.

Overall,a good money management app for Gen Z. As someone who is a little older and more mature,it's not the greatest for me due to very low advance amount versus the mandatory monthly subscription fee required to take said advances out. Also, canceling is a pain and there are often discrepancies between the app and bank information such as already repaid advances not being recognized by the chat bot, thereby barring you from canceling a subscription after the service is no longer of use. Meh...

I loved this app initially; it was a great budget tool and the advance feature came in handy often. Now, I've been in a customer service nightmare. I cannot advance due to an error saying I have multiple accounts when I don't. I've tried contacting customer service and NEVER received a reply. CS is non-existent.

This app needs improvement and their prices are too high. The app content can be confusing, especially the budget part! It takes forever to load as it is super slow. Things don't make sense like charges I can't explain. Cleo takes money for auto save but the amount "saved" doesn't match up to what's been taken from my main bank account.

I only have one bad thing to say. The method or the tech behind how it calculates your spending,savings, etc. If you only have a checking/debit account and a savings account that you do keep the savings you "save" in, then it's golden. If you move money around between savings, checking, credit builders and add. accounts like a maniac, then it's rough. It doesn't count the savings you move and spend. It shows "savings" as what you put in for total, not what is in it later when you used most of it

I've been using this app for a few months and can always count on being able to get a $50 salary advance, except for right now. I am eligible and get through all of the screens to the last one to sign the contract page and its like it won't load the entire page. Tried contacting support but they are only in Mon-Fri. This is the first issue I've had but it's a really inconvenient time seeing as Christmas is this week and definitely in a crunch.

App is easy to navigate. Good if you're in a tight spot and need a small advance until payday. My only reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is because the fee is a little high and the advance amount offered to me is kind of low for the fee upon repayment plus monthly subscription fee. Still a better experience than other finance/payday apps.

This app is great. It's hilarious, I love the roasting feature even though I usually feel a little shame after, haha. It's great for budgeting, saving and just seeing your spending habits. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. I haven't had any problems with it. Edit: subtracting 2 stars because Cleo support never responds and I've contacted them multiple times on different days.

It's higher prices than most other apps with the same financial features. Personally I don't use Cleo for advances and only use the free service. I love this app because I can track all my finances in one place for free and it makes keeping up with it all hilariously fun. If all you really want is advances you may want to consider a different app, or enrollment in a budgeting class, or maybe a credit union instead of a bank.

Cleo is really handy, but also really buggy. I can't get the bill alert and account connection features to work right. You can't make/edit categories; for instance, I might have spent a lot of money on a medical expense, but it tags it as "shopping." Also, I don't know what happened to the interest feature on the checking account. I do love the savings features. They've never overdrawn my account and I find myself saving a lot of money with them! You don't get enough with the paid version.

This is a rip off. I paid the subscription fee. Once it deducted it from my bank account, it said I could get up to a $35 advanced. When I linked a legit bank account and card and tried to get advance it keep saying something went wrong to try again over and over. Never would let me do anything. I canceled it and requested a refund for my subscription considering I only had it an hour.

I'm contacting the better business bureau Tried email etc I can't even get into the app. It says it needs to send an email for verification, yet I never get one. I've tried repeatedly and have checked spam, trash, uninstalled, reinstalled etc... I'm getting charged 5.99 per month when I can't even use the service. Don't waste your time or the money that you don't even agree to yet is coming out every month.I want the money back that I've been charged over the past months for an app I can't use.

Great app. Been using it for the last 8 months for budgeting and such. There is a subscription fee for the lending feature, but I currently only pay $1.99 a month for that feature, so it's not that big of a deal like some reviewers pretend it is. They also have a credit builder program that I just started using but so far has been great. Highly recommend this app if you are looking to budget, borrow a quick few bucks or build/repair your credit.
