Horrible and unusable. The icons are too big & I need to scroll up and down to see all my accounts. I need to make transfers today and the new app does not allow me to 😡😡😡. I cannot enter any amounts. Need this fixed ASAP or I'm changing banks!!!!! Seems like NZ's IT devision as whole is just incompetent! If this is not sorted in 24 hours before my debit orders need to go off, then I am CHANGING BANKS!!!

Text verify works, email code gets sent okay, but hangs on verifying email. Now bank says Android version is to old. Now I can't authorise online transactions that require BNZ app two factor. Basically can't use my cards online, pointless banking with BNZ now.

Never had any issues with the app, operates smoothly and functions as expected. I would like to request a feature though. Hopefully this is an appropriate place to do so. I like concept of the PIN login access, but I haven't used it primarily because I'm concerned about remote access to my device. If we could have the option to turn on pin + netguard that would be ideal. Might seem counterintuitive to some, and they'd still have the pin only option. But I'd feel safer having both. Thanks.

This app has always been amazing, simple to use and with numerous great features. Just recently I'm repeatedly getting an error message when trying to make a payment. This necessitates closing out of the app and then trying again. It's only a relatively recent issue, but annoying nevertheless. Haven't changed device and while it's not new it's only a couple of years old and a top of the range, reputable brand.

Just download doesn't even work and had to get for market bank put me onto app too not having a good set up at moment bit hard when store never open to get help

This use to be a good app but not anymore. Last few days, the app is stuck to a page showing message 'Transferring' when the transfer is already complete. Can't move out of the screen and can't log out. This is not comfortable to think that your bank app is logged in and will log out when it feels like it or when you restart your phone. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it gets stuck on Email verification page with the message 'verifying email'! ☹

Couldn't log in as I need the old net guard card from the 90s (which is the reason I switched banks). The error message instructed me to log in on a desktop to order a new one (spot the problem here). I called up and ordered one over the phone which will taken 5-10 days to arrive. Not a great user experience - pretty unlikely to switch back when my high tech card arrives in a week

Have to Uninstall and reinstall EVERY time I need to use the app, very frustrating and time consuming! I use the app for business use so do this multiple times a week. When trying to log in comes up with "sorry something went wrong". Has been happening for months now

Just recently re-downloaded this app so I could confirm a purchase. After confirming it with both a phone and email confirmation, I get a notice saying "Banking activity temporarily restricted" with no explanation as to how long this restriction will be. I understand BNZ wanting to protect customers from fraudulant activity. But come on! Surely a text and email confirmation is enough to prove things. I just wanted to buy some movie vouchers. I gave up in the end.

I'm not happy with the limited writing space available when making a simple bill payment (on my mobile). The identifiable information of particulars for both I, and the business I'm paying, isn't always sufficient enough. Therefore I get accused of not paying my bills because the admin staff receiving the payment cannot work it out. It's something so simple, just allow for more writing characters. I will say I'm pretty happy with your security of my accounts so far.

The app doesn't save my login, shows errors when adding an account and accessing settings, and requires re-login and re-verification. Using Android 12 on Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro with MIUI 13.0.18. Update: Fixed the issue. BNZ uses Play Integrity API to evaluate Device security. If you device is unrooted but with unlocked bootloader, it fails the test. You have to relock bootloader to fix this issue assuming you are unrooted. Thank you so much to the BNZ Team for helping me solve this issue!

please understand that you are a bank! NOT Netflix or Temu. You dont need to change your screens.. don't gold plate the simple banking. Remember what happened to floating feedback icon you built in the app?? It takes long to get used to the buttons and views. Don't change them to just be stylish..Ooooh!! Any mistakes done due to changed designs can have serious repercussions. The new app design is horrible.. especially the transfer. Can we pls have the choice to not use the new transfer view.

Used to love this app but not any more. with every update in 2023 the app becomes more glitchy. Started off just slow and wouldn't always show my transactions...it took several attempts to see my transactions. But now with the 2 step verification for online purchases, I'm about ready to switch banks! The app would not give me the confirmation required to complete. Was told to uninstall and reinstall.. Big mistake can't get past the verify email screen so now I have no App at all. Not happy

Imagine using the mobile app then you wont be able to login again after you logout and have to reset your password everytime you used the mobile app. How crazy is that?

Has been an amazing app for years. Have always thought it was the best mobile banking app I have used. Recently just lost the option for biometric login on my S22 ultra, which has worked since it came in.

I'm not happy with this app. I used to get all my bank statements dating back when I first down loaded the bank app. Now I can only get bank statements as far as one month. What is wrong with this app.

There's a saying, "don't fix what isn't broken". This new update has made the app unable to use. Can't even log in cause of it.

The app is OK. Half the functionality does not work on my phone (z-flip 4). I called BNZ and apparently this is a known bug. Has been 4 months and still not fixed. Edit: Dropping my review to 2 stars. It has been another 2 months since our email correspondence and you said it was an issue with me as a customer, not with my phone. Since then you have stopped responding to my emails and this is still and issue for me. Edit2: 2 more months have passed & still not working. This app is basic at best.
