For all mobile apps I've seen from many banks and in many countries, this one is the WORSE! I am only on the beginning of software dev carier but even I could do better. - Button back - opens side menu, what? - Navigation impossible! - Everything has poor design and highly uncomfortable. - Architecture of app is horrible. Good example when you hire incompitent .... instead of UX/UI. Did dev even tried to use this app himself? What kind of ... made it?

Horrible for tracking your money. The app tells you what the statement amount is for the month, but does not compute what the remaining amount is that you owe based on what payments you've made. It's very poorly designed, seemingly to be confusing so the bank will profit more off missed payments/interest charges. Seems as if the majority of "functions" in this app result in errors with a message telling you to call their customer service. I highly recommend avoiding this bank completely.

I rarely leave a review for an app, but this new interface is absolute garbage. The app WAS perfect before, and now the text is way too big, the layout is terrible, nothing is intuitive. Who on earth approved this update, and why? Please give me the option to revert back to the previous interface/ layout so I can do my banking without frustration.

Works fine. However it sends me a reminder at the end of the month to do a minimum payment to my credit card. I usually pay off my card within a week of getting the bill. Still getting that reminder.

UPDATE: Aug 2/23, CIBC has listened, tiles are a little smaller, and the biggest fix is that investment totals are back👍 New version sucks, go back to previous version. June 22 update still sucks!!! Why is there no " investments total" what I have to add them up myself? Top 3rd of the screen is "offers I might like" REALLY?? PLEASE LET US GO BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION....IT WAS PERFECT.

I don't like it. Giant font is not needed. All it does is prevent me from seeing all my banking information at the same time. The previous app also provided totals for each category. Now I have to pull out a calculator if I want to see totals. Makes no sense to remove this feature. I can't see how less information is an improvement, or who would have thought that, "what our users really want is LESS information."

How come you have created the most useless app, among all the banking mobile applications. The options don't wont,(eg: Global money transfer) and i dont know what you keep updating during the weekends and make it more terrible than before. Pro tip : Changing the branded logo and spending millions on it doesn't get you the customers. Try to resolve everyone's issue on this play store to increase your brands trust.

Have the latest version of the app, yet I do not understand why a mobile app does not appear to be mobile compatible. When I am trying to view things in the app, many things are cut off, writing on top of other writing, etc. This makes the app difficult and annoying to use. I gave 2 stars because the features are great but overall it is not easy to read, so it's not very user-friendly.

New interface is horrible. The older interface was much better. Now it is confusing on how to perform actions on the account. Please return my old interface or provide us the option to switch from Modern, classic or COMPACT interface. Give the public their choices. Don't change outright to all. Add it as a feature to switch to to give users the power of keeping the old interface.

App is always having problems. Can't sign in one day, then another has maintenance another day is more problems. The app developers don't care to fix this app the bank doesn't care either. Time to switch banks. The app always asks for code to verify like someone has my finger print and phone to sign in this is one stupid app and has a lazy developer.

The new layout looks awkward. The spacing is off and on the accounts and it feels unfinished. It's got the hint of something nice but it isn't there yet. For the people having a hard time figuring out how to e-transfer and pay bills, those are in a menu that pops up by clicking the hamburger menu in the top left corner on the screen.

I really don't like this new update, I prefer the old app. It won't even allow me to set up my biometrics. I keep getting errors when I input my password to set up. Bring back the old. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" I am also having issues logging in, I have to keep restarting the app. Just stays on the loading screen and says logged in but shield is still spinning indicating still loading.

Would rate higher, but every time i try to use the chat support to speak to an agent, no matter what day of the week or time of day, the chat bot wont offer the option to connect me. It only gives me phone numbers.

App has confusing layout which shows last amount owed and current amount so it is hard to tell what is currently need to pay off. CIBC doesn't seem to be keen on fixing this as it prob makes people over pay which is money in their pocket. Again I have had issues determining what amount is owned since it does not reflect my last payment. CIBC has no interest and their app only your money

Dropping score as the app is becoming even less useful, with odd navigation behaviour. It's just not a good app anymore unfortunately as it takes so much more effort to do things that were so straight forward before.

The new design is just terrible!!! Cannot express my frustration. I now have to switch to the deskrop web version as it is absolutely impossible to navigate in a new layout. Moreover, what did you do with credit score calculations? Why did you switch provider. I have always had a score in the highest range. Now it is low!!! I'm absolutely disappointed. Please, change everything back, listen to your clients!

Don't use this app. It has been impossible to transfer money out of my account now that I'm out of the country, and I've received no support. I'm required to verify my identity with my Canadian phone number, but no longer have one, and it won't let me proceed with my email or other identification. If I could receive help getting my money out of my account, that would be great!
