Description of SanDisk Memory Zone

SanDisk® Memory Zone™ is a file management app for SanDisk Dual Drives, SanDisk Solid State Drives, microSD™ cards*, and certain cloud providers**. The app lets you organize your files, clean up your memory, and back up your files. The app comes with a user-friendly interface and is a simple and convenient tool to help manage your files and content.

FREE UP SPACE
Easily offload or back up content to your compatible SanDisk Dual Drive, SanDisk Solid State Drive, or microSD card*.

ADD EXTERNAL STORAGE SOURCE(S)
Add and manage external storage locations such as a compatible SanDisk Dual Drive, SanDisk Solid State Drive, or microSD card*. The app also supports popular cloud services**.

VIEW AND ACCESS FILES
Easily view and access the content stored on your SanDisk Dual Drive, SanDisk Solid State Drive, or microSD card* from the home page of the SanDisk Memory Zone app.

Quickly organize and manage your content with the delete, rename, share, copy, or move operations.

Save time looking for files with the intuitive user interface. Search for photos by keyword or utilizing geotagging or timeline searches.

CLEAN APP CLUTTER
Clean your unwanted content in one-click with the “Delete Junk Files” tool. SanDisk Memory Zone can also clean up certain chat apps** to free up more storage instantly. Additionally, erase and uninstall your unused apps with the “Manage Apps” tool.

SanDisk Memory Zone allows you to easily move content between your different external and internal storage locations*.

"Worst Than Worst" More than worst...... I purchased it, that when I will format my phone. I will transfer my photos in the sd .... - first it don't detect the album same as your in ur phone gallery does. -But when I wanted to move the screenshot photos it got mixed with camera photos -🤦🤷🙄👎👎👎👎👎👎👎no use of buying SanDisk, when all ur 1000 of photos got mixed in one place -Only Expended or Collapsed view option. #Thought_ this app would be the complete solution. #Didn't expect

I feel secure by backing up my data to a removable 256 mini device inside my phone. Regardless of what happens to the phone, I can retrieve my data. Memory Zone is easy to use, secure, and fast. I highly recommend the Memory Zone app.

Disconnect message every time I use it with a SanDisk flash drive with USB-C to USB-A. It's a decent app, but sometimes slow to process moving files from my Samsung S22+, but the UI isn't too complicated. The permission access is asked for with every new flash drive.

My SanDisk 256 GB pendrive which comes with Type A and Type C on either sides stopped working for some reasons suddenly after an year. This was working pretty normal for an year and now this app is not detecting the device and also the type A port is not working/detecting when I connect this to a laptop. Not recommended for a reliable use though. This can only be used as a secondary source. Disappointed very much with SanDisk.

This is the best file manager I have ever seen on Android. Very clear screens, it puts files into useful folders. A joy to use. And while it comes bundled with a thumb drive, it will work without one, using sd card or online, like dropbox, google drive, or OneDrive

San Disk flash drives are nice to have. This app is painfully slow just copying files from device to flash drive. At least though it can get through a lot of videos in a reasonable time. This is just a midrange phone on android 12 so it probably is the phone is slow to begin with.

Something is seriously wrong with this app. I just caught the app doing a backup to the memory card that was not even installed! I have never given permission to use anything but that memory card and that memory card is in the other room in my computer desk! I need to know where my phone's data just got sent, and there's nothing I can find on the internet that can tell me.

trash. incredibly long wait times before files even begin to copy to the sandisk otg device. which is odd, considering this app is SPECIFICALLY MADE for this EXACT function ONLY. it routinely takes 25min. or more to copy and transfer less than 3 gigs of video files from my phones internal memory to the otg device. that is when it actually works and doesn't fail in the process. it fails 9 times out of 10 when trying to "move" files (which makes that file unusable) and occasionally when copying.

The backup feature needs improvement. It starts backing up from the beginning somehow instead of from where it left off which doesn't make any sense. Unless the data displayed is inaccurate... I just don't know

I want to transfer a SINGLE photo from my phone to the Samsung SD drive. I connect up. It's difficult. Edit: it did work as intended and is fast but I would rather it didn't run so hot. I bought it to back up my phone and the phone tries to charge it apparently.

Application is good good but need few development. 1. Back up required for multiple mobile phones. Currently it can only back single device. ( If you add save file in any location inside drive then it will be possible) 2. Deleting a files takes era to complete the task. This should be fast if you have option like what's app junk file cleaner. I will give you five star if you will improve this app

all good.. App is simple to use and very user friendly.. backup feature is also good. The only lacking is the sync feature.. Creating backups every time just consumes more time and space. As always a new backup is created with a new time stamp and folder. Sync feature would be quick as it would just add new files/photos created on phone to the pendrive.. thus saving time and space on the drive.

SanDisk seamlessly backs up both my phone and micro SD card, giving clear instructions for each step. The interface works well with both my phone and laptop, and I am able to easily move files between the card, phone and computer. It also quickly cleans up junk and temporary files when asked.

Absolutely infuriating experience with the SanDisk Memory Zone app! I used the "Move" function to transfer my files to the SD card, and it resulted in total chaos. The app froze, and now, all my files show "files not supported" errors. I had precious memories and important documents in those files, and they are now inaccessible! To make matters worse, I emailed customer support for help, and it's been days with no reply! This level of negligence and lack of response is unacc

Often backing up to storage can be taxing at the best of times. Everything's, everywhere...this app makes it so much easier, efficient and simplified. It brings up all my storage (micro SD card, usb storage, google drive etc) in one place for easy file management. Highly recommended! As much as I love cloud storage, I always have a "hard copy" back up on something disconnected from everything. Thanks WD! PS. If you want reliability and quality, stick to western digital and/or SanDisk storage!

- Files broken after transfer from Samsung S20+ to SanDisk Pro 2TB SSD drive. - Constantly says "disconnected from device" during transfer, requiring me to start over. - Transfer super slow and drains battery and I'm not using a garbage phone ... my battery is still very good. - Transfer almost stops when phone screen is off, then starts at a snail's pace when screen on. Unreliable for transferring files. You'd think the name brand would have these basic issues sorted out by now. April 2023.

Awesome! Very fast, don't have to wait all day for it to finish downloading or moving files pictures etc. But the Sandisk memorystick over heats and gets to the point where you'd have to use a cloth. If you leave it in your phone or computer too long. Few minutes in the phone or computer it heats up quickly. Awesome but could be better if they fix the over heating problem. Fast to move files😉👌

This app has no restore option. Because of this, I lost every photo in my phone. Two years worth of photos. One would think that having the ability to restore photos would be a given for an app like this, but apparently not. They don't even give you a tutorial. So, unless you don't have any important pictures/file/videos on your phone, don't get this app if you don't want to risk losing it all. Worst experience I've had with any app, ever.
