Very nice. It works well when adjusting times to have profile locks at specific times. One thing I would like to have is 15-30minute breaks where you can free up your phone for that amount of time whenever you decide you need a break/lunch during a lock, but don't have any specific time when you go. Basically, the ability to have "free time" for however long you want. Example: 4pm-7:30pm is worktime, but no specific time for lunch. But you can use a 30 minute whenever you want during that time.

Big bug found. Although the software is blocking the apps and pages, in the main screen, on the active profiles section, the blocks there always show the maximum amount of time left when they are blocked out (instead of inputing something like: "no time left". But if you go inside the profile you can see that there is no time left today with a red dot. Hope they fix this soon.

App seems to work well for what it *does* do, but it only shuts off app initiation....not turning *off* an app when the time is up. So if an app is already running (like an audiobook), it continues to run even when the timer is up. Granted, you then cant *open* the app to use it (or turn it off), but still... Seems pointless, at least for anything I would use it for. There is also no option for a quick manual override with a secret pin. You have to get into AppBlock, to disable the limits.

Insanely helpful in beating my internet addiction. It has a free version, which is just good enough for what I need (blocks 5 apps at a time that you specify) or you can pay for it to do more. It hasn't even been a week and I've already rotated my sleep schedule up by 5 hours! Has ads, but I think it's only like 1, every time the app is opened, which is well worth it.

AppBlock can be easily bypassed by simply pressing the Square button on the bottom of my phone and then swiping up. The apps that are supposed to be blocked can be accessed. I've tried the Troubleshooting menu but that didn't work. I have a REVVL 4 Phone. If someone could give me specific directions to solve this, I'll change my review.

Been having multiple glitches like locking sites when it should not. The countdowns aren't staying up-to-date and the only advice I got when I sent in an error report was to delete and recreate profiles. Well, I tried that and the problem migrated to different profiles. That continued. So I am trying a delete and start from scratch. I pay for this service and I'm pretty irritated that its basic functionality is failing.

I download apps like these because of my addiction and for a while this was the first one I couldn't find a workaround for. It was the fastest to cover up the apps and strict mode had many useful settings. Only problem is that there was a delay in covering up my settings app, so I was able to quickly uninstall before the block message came up. If you fix that it would be perfect.

TERRIBLE. I checked, double checked, and triple checked the times I'd entered for apps to be blocked, and AppBlock KEPT the apps blocked even during the times when they were supposed to be enabled. This makes AppBlock COMPLETELY USELESS. I had even paid for the full version and had to get a refund. And I couldn't even find any option in the app to contact support, which tells you how much they care about their app working. Don't waste your time with this one.

gets the job done, I found it useful enough to get the paid version. I find it difficult to block certain mobile sites if the domain names are not specified right (such as Twitter) and would appreciate a list generated by the app so mobile and desktop versions can both be taken care of. Blocking a site after enabling strict mode sometimes doesn't work. setting strict mode multiple days can make settings completely inaccessible, which can be quite challenging. not sure how to fix that.

This app is really amazing, but it's got a loophole. With my Galaxy Samsung A03s it has a "popup view" feature for open apps, essentially allowing one to circumvent any efforts of Appblock. For example, I can touch settings, then drag it to the homescreen center for the pop-up view. From that point, applock doesn't detect anything. You can unistall the app even on StrictMode level 3.

This app provides lots of options for when to block certain apps, which I like a lot. The previous apps I used only offered a usage limit for apps before they were blocked. My only problem with this app is that a lot of customization options are blocked unless you get premium. I was going to buy premium until I found out that it's a monthly subscription instead of just a one time payment. However, even without premium this app still provides a wide range of useful features.

Works well and has helped with my phone addiction and mental health. A suggestion I have is multiple blocking conditions. For example you could make a schedule block apps during a specific time only when you're at a certain location. Otherwise the app works great and is cheaper than other ones that do the same thing

Works pretty well for me. Just one suggestion: I think there should be an option to add a minute (or a user-specified number of minutes) when your time expires. That way, if I'm partway through a video or typing a comment, I can finish without completely disabling the profile. Edit: Alternatively or in addition, when disabling a profile, it would be good to have the option to automatically re-enable it after a set time — good for work breaks that might not always be on the same schedule.

Great app! I liked it right away, which is always a good sign. I was looking to limit the time I spend on specific social media and this works really well for that. You can set a bunch of different parameters to limit exactly what you don't want when you don't want it. One great feature that I've been looking for for a while is the ability to block certain apps based on location. This effectively allows me to block apps I tend to abuse, while I'm out of the house, i.e possibly driving.

The app had previously provided everything I wanted from it. So much so that I had paid for the lifetime premium, but now it requires an ongoing subscription to continue using the features I had previously paid for. The app is no longer working properly for even the free/trial version and it keeps pushing for me to join the subscription plan. I finally just deleted the app. It's not worth the cost. I also don't recommend the free version either.

I've had this for a couple weeks now and it GETS THE JOB DONE. I like that it tells me how many times I've tried to open blocked apps and the time frames you can manipulate. Also big plus on giving you the option to pay for premium or watch ads to support them. Sometimes I skip the ad but I make a point to watch/ continue with some of them because I really appreciate that feature.

Great at stopping your bad app habits in their tracks. I have a small handful of apps that are simply time sinks, and I've blocked them while within proximity of my office. Less is more. If you want to block every single app on your phone, it's quite tedious because you have to select every single one in the drop down.

Really great app, does what it says it does. My only feedback is that I wish there was an option to make the "time remaining" notifications appear only while an app in that profile is open. They're kind of annoying when they're just there until the profile ends and you can't get rid of them without turning the profile off. Still 5 stars though.
