I guess I was just trying so hard to find an app that looked like it would accommodate the amount of detail I needed, that I missed the small, tiny section that said you would be able to use it for free for 2 weeks and then you could not use it at all unless you paid for even just the "Basic" level. Geez if you have 3 levels can't one of them be free? NO THANKS! UNINSTALLING NOW, I DON'T NEED 2 WEEKS.

When you add a quick to do, and click select a start time, you can't actually set the time, but just the date. Not very handy. Otherwise app looks good. Developers quick to reply. Perhaps a webclipper (full page, not just link) would also be useful on android.

UI so cluttered. Not my style

Tried this out because it has hierarchical tags like Gmail, I've wanted a task manager with this feature for years. Unfortunately it's very prone to crashing, had oddly small touch targets (at least on my device) and has some other oddities too. Top level tasks can't have a due date or be "completed" - only subtasks, of which there is only one level. Certainly not for me. I guess this is more of a note taker than a task manager, as the name suggests.

I got this for the task management - the ability to do repeating tasks and to hide tasks until they're closer to the due date is AWESOME for me on top of the great notetaking stuff. Their blog has some good info on how to set up tags etc so you are less likely to get overwhelmed/stuck, too. I wish the tutorial videos gave more of a top-down approach since that's how I learn best, but other than that I'm really pleased with this.

Have been using Amplenote daily for a month now and really enjoying the experience. Using the web and Android apps. The stand out feature for me is the seamless combination of rich note taking and tracking actions using tasks. I have observed a marked increase in my productivity and flow and my content is organised and more easily rediscoverable. Looking forward to what comes next.

Amplenote is definitely the best productivity and organisation and all-around "brain prosthesis" app I've ever tried, and it's currently my very first choice for this purpose, out of the numerous direct competitors like Roam, Obsidian, TiddlyWiki, Zettlr, and indirect competitors like OneNote. It's definitely worth what it costs to use, and I really feel like the developers respect their users, which I can't say of most of the other apps I just named. They factor security and encryption into the process from square one, and they have excellent communication with their users, including being highly transparent about and responsive to feature requests and suggestions. The rich footnotes and bidirectional links, the priority-based tasking and robust tagging system, and the clean user interface with collapsible unobtrusive sidebars, all add up to an app which is a genuine pleasure to use, both from a desktop and on mobile devices. The graph-based visualisation of productivity is also really neat. I love that I can e-mail to notes, as this gives me a way to coordinate with project collaborators and friends, without needing to talk them into installing the app or changing how they do things: I just give them an address to e-mail to a specific note, and they send me anything that needs my attention for a shared project, already automatically sorted exactly where I need it to be (instead of cluttering my e-mail inbox).

I had tried too many apps on note taking. Most went away, however Amplenote stuck. Useful from a practical point for a fast paced life. Its quick responsive mobile interface will motivate note taking for those like me who would otherwise take a pass if opening an app took more than a second Edit 1: need to improve on indent(& 'outdent') alignment using the 'tab' key on the phone app for the sub-bullet texts.

It is very fast! And also it allows me to have todolist , notes, and calendar at the same time. The idea fits everyone! It does not waste my time by building structures, it makes it easier for me to sync my todolist, with notes, and to my external calendars too in just a click away.

Amplenote has been a game changer for me in my personal and professional time management. The development team is friendly and responsive and this little community feels like the start of something special.

So far, so good. I've been trying out a lot of different note taking apps, and I saw a coworker using Amplenote, so I decided to try it out. I was specifically interested in the UI, the tagging and the organization. It's been great, and I'm excited to see how far it takes me.

Very good app for personal productivity and project management. Awesome to see that widgets have now been added. Seems like tge teams is always looking for improvements.

TickTick, ToDoist, Google Keep, EverNote and others... I've used them all and Amplenote has got the magic sauce figured out!

This is the best app for me and I tried many others. I love it's free feautures as it allowed me to do everything I need and the calendar is the most helpful thing to organize and see how my day will look. It has everything: prioritization, tags, time, repeat, hide, and many more features. That is why it took me a while to accomodate with the app, but I see that the developers focus on quality and I think it deserves more hype. Thank you for keeping it free!

I really, really love Amplenote - it's honestly the best tool I've ever found for transforming my everyday thoughts into tangible actions. Part of this is because of how easy it is to capture ideas at my computer during the day - those scattered thoughts that hit you when you're doing something else - and then transform them into developed thoughts at a later time. It's a beautifully designed app, on both browser and mobile, albeit one that takes a little while to adjust to (I recommend watching Shu Omi's excellent tutorial). Syncing is efficient, and while the interface feels familiar enough to Evernote that you'll pick it up right away, the real selling point is the underpinning philosophy. I'm excited by the prospects of Amplenote, and I honestly think it's worth the subscription fee. If you're serious about idea capture and transformation, there isn't a better tool than this out there.

Amplenote is a great service but the mobile experience feels significantly worse than the experience on desktop. Elements in the app are too fiddly and small to interact with consistently without missed touches. Keyboard pops up on weird occasions when moving around in notes. The app is missing a home screen widget for quick entry and overview of tasks. Also there are small weird quirks that makes me feel like the app lacks polish (best example is that when I get a notification reminder about a due task, clicking the reminder does not take me to the task but only to the main screen of the app). Even with the above complaints, it's still a good service. I like that the focus on capturing tasks quickly is a prominent feature of the app. Sync seems fast and reliable, which is key. Overall though, it's an app where I only feel like I will use the mobile app if I have to.

The may be the app I have been looking for... I just wish that it has a widget for the task &/or note section. The all in one feature is what I have been searching for and didn't even know it Update: love the widget BUT I haven't been receiving notifications for task although I allowed for notifications on the widget, the task, & the app. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Soooo many missing features. Could we at least have the ability to change the font size? Oo
