The Rocketbook app instantly sends your Rocketbook pages and whiteboards enhanced with Beacons to your favorite cloud services. Access and share them anytime, anywhere!

The app has a unique seven-symbol shortcut system that gets your auto-cropped and high quality scans into the cloud faster than any other scanning app. Using our Handwriting Recognition (OCR) features, you can search your handwriting inside the app, use your handwritten text as the filename, and get a full-page transcription via email.

It's pretty cool! I am the kind of person that needs to write in order to reinforce what I'm learning. Or to take quick notes when I'm on the phone. I can scan what I want to keep and microwave/disappear the rest. So I keep using one notebook. I love it. Easy to organize online and I sync it with my one note.

Great idea but two big problems: 1. The levels of permissions the app requires is just insane. I do not want to give this app read/write/delete access to all files in my Google Drive or Dropbox. One folder in Drive or Dropbox would be okay, but not the whole thing. 2. Some times the app will scan the same page more than once in a row very quickly, requiring me to manually delete the same file. Seems like this could have been avoided with unique QR codes on each page. Not sure why they didn't do this.

Pretty good. The transcribing is kinda horrible at getting what I am writing. Also it would be nice if you can change names of the notes after submitting them and if you could have folders in the app to organize your notes. Oh and it tends to cut things out if they are on the first line so make sure to write on line 3 and not write till the end of each line. Otherwise it makes things really easy. Very fast and not bad at scanning even with bad lighting. I love how fast it is.

Just used this rocket book for a 3-day summit. It was nice to not have to use actual paper notebooks for all of the notes. I take a lot of classes and use a lot of notebooks. The uploading multiple pages is a little tricky. You have to double-check each scan to make sure it actually gets attached. I had 10 pages to scan for one day and the app scanned the pages but one of them in the series didn't get attached And no way of adding in one scan in the series without redoing all of them.

The app is generally good, but many of the features don't work well. It will sometimes take perfectly crisp scans, but other times they will be blurry, and they you have to rescan every page or else they get out of order. The OCR detection doesn't really work, but that's as expected. I wish the sending based on the marking at the bottom worked better as it is inconsistent. At the end of the day, this app is just a PDF scanner that requires a QR code to verify that you are using the Rocketbook.

I find this app to be very helpful for both work and personal. No paper means it's eco-friendly and I don't have the clutter. This is not easier than typing, however, I like to write and it is good for taking notes during a Zoom meeting. Why four stars? The pens need a couple of seconds of priming sometimes before l can use, and I still can't get multiple pages to scan at the same time. That's likely user-error, but the instructions are not clear. Otherwise this is my writing tool of choice.

It's very intuitive! I love this because I can take notes for school and different classes and not have to worry about carrying multiple different notebooks and remembering which notebooks to bring on which day! With this, it can be organized without the book needing to be organized! Plus, I won't need to worry about buying new notebooks or losing old notes! I just wish, since I'm a Fine Arts Major that it had a scan filter option that could recognize the colors I use when coloring something in and make it a solid color like I intend and not making it oversensitive or too high of contrast or saturation. Other than that, this thing is amazing and perfect! It would be cool if I could have a few more options for the icons and where to send things, but that's minor, and it already has a lot of options. I would highly recommend this for students and the like!

the pictures come out really clear, but you can't use frixion highlighters with it without smudging. it can be hard to pick up lighter. colored pens, but over all I absolutely love the rocketbook and the app. technology can always be improved upon. to limit the waste of pens I need to look for a refillable one and frixion ink to go with it, but I haven't yet. What I also haven't looked into, but really want, is there to be an app for my computer to log into and access all of my scans.

Great concept but handwriting recognition is poor. I really like the Rocket book itself, and the ability to integrate with various services (I'm using Evernote, Google drive, and email) works great. But the handwriting recognition is terrible (comparing it to Evernote). The new smartlists feature is infuriating. I don't want to use it, but it thinks it "detects" smartlists almost every time I scan a page, making it take 3 times as long to scan. You need to give me a way to disable that feature!

The app has been updated with great new features and stability improvements. I put my Rocketbook away for about a year to try other things, but I'm returning to it now. But it seems like my previous history tied to my account is gone??? Not cool. One of the best parts of the app was my scan history. Now it's like I'm starting over but have years worth of data that won't show up in the app. I didn't exactly lose any data, I've still got the scans, but it's not in my app history. Annoying.

I really like how neat the app is and the idea behind the Rocketbook. However, there are some problems I have with the app. First, the app sometimes won't recognize my page (usually after 2-3 scans), and I have to exit and reopen the app. Also, the colors of the scans are not coming out to be as vibrant as my pen colors, so that is a little bit disappointing. I'm not sure if it's just my camera, but it seems to pick up a lot of white where some areas of notes are whited out. Otherwise, nice app

i love the fact that you can reuse the tablet. I would like to see the OCR feature vastly improve. Sending to email and other locations simultaneously is extremely easy. With my bad eyesight, it is hard to see the lines and dots on the tablet. It would be nice if those were a little darker. I like how one side is basically graphing paper and the other, letter. The pen has an eraser. I would love to know when I am about to scan an exact duplicate page in.

At first, I had issues with scanning colored ink with this app and was pretty frustrated. Then, I realized I needed to change the scan optimization for color ink. User error! I love how easy it is to organize your notes with the cloud or drive, and the fact that I can search through my handwritten notes using a search bar is pretty incredible. I would love if the handwriting to text transcription was better at picking up things like / - and (), but my handwriting is pretty sloppy!

It's neat, but it glitches. When you're done scanning and hit next, sometimes it gets stuck processing and can't send the scan, leaving your flash on and not moving forward. You have to close the app, reopen it, and then send. It wouldn't be so bad if that was just an occasional glitch but it happens more often than not. Also sometimes it will say it scanned a page but when you go to review, it is missing, and you can't reorder the scans so you have to delete the next pages and rescan them all.

It's pretty good, sometimes hard to scan clearly, i like how you can trace the shapes at the bottom of the page to choose a folder. I forgot to add that the scanner often doesn't pick up different colors that are somewhat similar, purple and blue and sometimes green usually scan as black I also find it easier to write than type when I'm taking notes because it's harder for me to pick up what the teacher is saying when I type.

I really like the concept, but the app is super buggy. Once I scan something and go to send it, the app is stuck on the loading screen and never leaves. I have to close the app and reopen it, and sometimes that doesn't even fix the problem. I've even tried redownloading the app entirely. I love the reusable planner pages, but at this point it's easier for me to just take pictures of the pages with my phone. I want this to work so badly- please fix your bugs, Rocketbook!

I liked the Rocket Book. The app is smooth and quick in capturing the images. I suggest one change in the mobile app. As of now, all the scans in phone appear in portrait mode. There should be option for List view, Thumbnail view, or small icon view, etc. It takes few minutes to dry up and you must not turn the page for those few minutes. Pen is super smooth and I feel like writing.

Update Aug 3-The synch issue has been resolved. Would still like the ability to import scans from my old device/cloud. I don't like that you cannot import scans to the app when you get a new device. I get that it's cloud based, and I like that when I'm on my laptop. But it's a pain on a phone to have to log into another app, look for the folder, etc etc. Would be much better if they were handy in the Rocket app. 2 clicks away.
