Unlike the desktop version doesn't sync upload files created on Android when moved to local nextcloud folder. Uploads complain of conflicting files that have already been synced and are identical.

Nextcloud is too focused on a fast release cycle and new features and pays little to no attention to fixing the 2100+ currently open issues on Github. The Android app is awful, buggy, severely slow, and forget it if you have more than one NC server, only the first connection you add will show files, any others will connect but tell you there's nothing there. Get your act together and stop with the new features, fix the ones you have and this would be a half-decent platform!

Best cloud storage so far. We get full control over our data. It also includes the ability to sync specific folders which are lacking in other cloud storage. Password protected apps are an amazing feature. We can sync contacts, calendar and todos

I wish i could give this a good review because i want open source syncing software to be as good or better than proprietary competitors. but the truth is its a pretty shakey experience, with some odd UI and overall unreliable feeling. still not 100% sure if its working as intended, or if nextcloud on mobile actually supports true syncing

Nextcloud is privacy friendly online storage. It is much more secure than any other cloud storage. Best part is there is no data collection or Advertisements in the app. The app works as expected. We can backup photos, videos & contacts from one app. There is an option to sync specific folders also.

I have auto upload set to "over write remote version" for all my folders, but I I'm still getting file sync conflicts constantly. The only way to resolve is to click one by one.

Works well, but contains bugs. For example, uploading multiple photos on Android (oppo phone) does not upload all photos. Even when keeping unlocked will only upload first few selected photos

They really need to resolve the sync conflict process in the app, can we have an option in sync settings to default to server version on conflict. I have over 1000 conflicts on a fresh server, my photos have been deduplicated and I see many people online complaining of the same thing.

It used to work great, but the latest update introduced bugs like conflicts for no reason and "malformed server configuration" for some files. Hope this gets fixed soon.

conflict versioning. since my phone updated overnight, all photos are now showing as conflicting between local and server copies. both have identical names, dates, sizes. no idea why it suddenly alerting for every single file

the combination off being able to connect any device easily and use the different Apps on the server is for me a highlight. Wherever the server is installed, you will have control over your data but also be able to implement 3 part applications like Apple, Windows office, or Google and AI App, for example makes it an all-rounder.

Generally works well but I'm getting conflict errors that I can't resolve. When I try to click on the notifications I get a failed to create conflict dialogue error. Still getting this error a year later...

Constantly stalls when trying to access a folder. Uploads are questionable at best. This is not a suitable app for Android sync. Works wonders on PC terrible on mobile.

While at first the app seems to work correctly, when uploading files, it constantly restarts the uploading even after it had already completed the transfer. Also speeds are abysmally slow.

Kinda works. Major issue is that it randomly detects file conflicts on all my photos. Now I have 3k file conflicts, that need to be solved manually. Solving each conflict requires 3 clicks. So I'm looking at 9k clicks. Yeah, not gonna happen. It still syncs new photos though.

Like many others, my complain is about file conflicts. The app uploads the photo/video the way it should but right away it starts to upload again and complaining about file conflicts. There are no conflict to be dealt with! It's just annoying and useless.

Something changed recently because now I get sync conflict errors for basically every picture that gets uploaded. The files are uploaded just fine, but the app always needs me to choose the local version or the server version (the are the same picture)

Today it started complaining about fine conflicts I clicked through like 50, but it seems endless. There doesn't seem to be a way to update all from server(these have correct dates, wrong ones have February 2023) Anyway, the app crashes every time I open photos folder. (It's been like that for months).
