I have used quite a few other cloud services and though they're okay, Icedrive was the one I've decided to subscribe to. Reason? Independent of other bloated products and services. Just does its job and does it with simplicity, ease and professionalism. Dead easy to navigate, colour coded folders and a really simple renaming method. The desktop app is a really useful addition too. You can mount and unmount at will. Control, reliability and independently secure. Top marks Icedrive, thank you.

Great to have free cloud storage. I store reference books. Having a scroll bar on the side is just what u need so can I whizz to the books' indices at the back. However the scroll bar hides under the title band until you navigate well into the document, which makes it hard to use. Ice team, can you improve this please? Please make the scroll bar more usable, and ideally include an option to "go to" a specific page number. That would make it perfect.

Generally good, it's fast to upload and download and so far after six months its been very reliable. The big issue is, it's extremely slow to load photos, and photo previews, like painfully painfully slow, and I don't understand why. My internet speed is around 500 MBPS so I think it's an issue with the app.

Love this so far!Ease of use ,speed,cool music player ,10 gb free without promising 10 and giving 5 unless you jump through hoops ,like another popular cloud. I don't understand the negative reviews.

Frustrating, counterintuitive, so far a waste of time. Lack of appropriate tabs to select or share. Even the help tab is of no help. Crazy making.

Clean interface but lack of features compared to others. Not able to download folders seems one of the issue. Would love to be able to do these in the encrypt folder: 1. Preview image and press next instead of selecting one by one (the web version is ok) 2. Ability to play video. Instead of download and then manually open the file (again, the web version is ok) 3. Move files between normal and encrypted storage

Signed up for a lifetime plan. Refused to rate it after one day as I wanted to see how it behaves for longer time. So far I have following to say. Pros: - Quite simple and friendly design. Hope it will evolve with time. - I was able to install it on a very old Android tablet! - It kindly installed itself to SD card, not to internal storage! This is quite useful, because all my other cloud apps take up internal space. - Quite fast. Cons: - Seemingly no way to check which of my files are currently shared, and which are available offline. One day I made one file offline, then when I needed it I had to spend half an hour trying to find it and remember which folder it was in. It would be much faster to just bring up a list of all offline files (same with shared files). - Seemingly no way (or maybe this is just for the PC application) to download multiple files at once. One can select a few files, start downloading... but only one file get downloaded. Also: - Would be great to be able to rightclick on a folder or a file and see their size. - Would be great to be able to know how much space is taken by file versions and remove old versions - Code viewer is a really good feature. Unfortunately, it seems unable to open files with certain extensions. E.g., Arduino code (.ino). Yes, you can try renaming the file, but changing extension is not an option in mobile app (can only change the name itself). So, download, rename in Total Commander, upload back again, view, enjoy, repeat while true. - the "home" icon on the PIN prompt is like the infamous "Power" button on some old PC keyboards located next to cursor buttons. One misclick - and the app logs out. My password is 20 symbols long, so entering it again is quite a trouble. It would be much better if the app asks if I really want to log out when I click this icon. Other than that, still quite a good app and service. I think I will like it.

I'm quite liking Icedrive as a cloud storage system, and the app is very good so far. The only thing I'd like to see is multiple folder uploads. You can upload one folder, and it's subfolders, but can't choose several seperate folders together. Also, no matter my internet speeds, I never get more than 1mbps upload speed. Overall though, very good!

Great App! Awesome! It even has a dark theme. 10gb free storage. No advert ridden download page. Just the way I want it. Nice work. Just one con, in grid view, the folders size are okay but the files thumbnails are too large thus making scrolling cumbersome. They should be small. But that's the Android app. The computer drive is slow to load, doesn't update if you edit files and if you lose internet in the process, your file disappears!

I thought it is amazing when I saw many of the people are promoting it, say things like this newcomer is worth considering and its lifetime plan is awesome. And after I bought the 5tb lifetime plan, I regret. The up and download speed are slow and unstable, the virtual hard drive is extremely laggy, I can't even play my video in the virtual hard drive. Also, the sync features of the desktop app have lots of bug, something they just stop syncing for reason. The service is barely acceptable.

It is a good app, I would like if you could add more folders in the auto upload, translating the app to Brazilian Portuguese would also be a good move! I'm looking forward to it. It has a small bug in the backup area, where it is unable to finish it resulting in consecutive failures until a full backup is obtained. Besides the fact that it shows that it has backed up the same files several times, I don't know if that's the case, anyway. Thank you!

It doesn't have a download/upload manager to manage them; for instance you can't cancel 5 out of 10 files you're uploading. It doesn't support fingerprint to unlock the app. In addition, when you set a pass lock, it only works when you close the app and run it again. But other apps pass lock is activated after a while (for example 30s). It makes me feel less security than other apps like Mega . But it is fast and so easy to use.
