I've been using it for about a week on my phone and PC. It syncs very quickly both ways. It seems to work fine on the PC with my browser. The phone version on the other hand has some bugs. Sometimes it won't open on logins. The bitwarden service continuously stops working and the only way to fix it is to restart your phone. Annoying when you're using phone as a hotspot. It's also time consuming importing and changing passwords. When you create a password for a site, you have to copy and paste.

I have used LastPass, Keeper, Dashlane, and Bitwarden. I just stopped using LastPass. LastPass was always frustrating in the lack of development but it did work on multiple devices. Now that they are charging for their somewhat substandard system I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't like about Bitwarden: First, no folders in folders. I have too many passwords not to have a nested folder system. It's OK for now because I think that ultimately that will be implemented. The second thing that I don't like is that there is no autofill feature and I have to manually cut and paste user names and passwords. Things I like is that the cut and past feature on the browser extension works well and is well organized. I like the multi device capability. I like the zero knowledge architecture. I am deciding between Keeper and Bitwarden. Keeper is frustrating in different ways.

It works. The best password app I've ever used. I was with LastPass from the beginning. And their Android app just kept not working. Bitwarden shows up when you want it to, doesn't when you don't want it to. Is plain but has a depth of features that can't be beat. Had I known it was this good I would have dumped LP years ago. It's scary to change but it was worth it. Kinda glad LP told us to choose Desk or Mobile. Glad I took Bitwarden. How simple can I say it. It just works!

Great app, but the autofill box that appears almost always shows up in my way, covering up boxes I need access to. Once it appears, i can't get it to go away, even after selecting the autofill item, and I can't move it out of my way. Maybe add a persistent notification that can be used, as an option for those who don't want to use the android autofill service, or have problems with it.

I started using Bitwarden to replace LP when LP started charging to use multiple platforms. LP was not very good on Android apps and browsers. I like Bitwarden much better than LP. It works really well on Android, and in every browser I have tried on Windows desktop, including Vivaldi. It's pretty intuitive to use. Occasionally it won't ask to save /change passwords on sites, but I can add /change them manually if needed. LP did that also. There are no ads in the free version. Recommended!

This is a great service. It was easy to migrate my passwords to Bitwarden from the password service I used to use. Add, edit, delete features are quick. I haven’t used the password generator yet, but I have created essay-length passwords which I am pleased I don’t have to memorize. The sync between devices is immediate. There is no lag anywhere. If they have a service issue, they are on it. They communicate with their subscribers and resolve the issue quickly. I have the premium service. $10.00 per year is not too much to pay. Highly recommend.

Downloaded it, spent a goodly amount of time entering all my critical passwords to have access to while on the road. Got to my destination and the Ap crashed and won't start up. Updated and still won't start up. Now I am without my passwords. What a waste of time. - update to my initial review. the app went from 1 star to 4 because someone reached out to me and stayed with me until the problem was resolved. That's impressive and worthy of 4 stars. makes it at least worth a try.

Very clean and easy-to-understand interface, especially for a non-techie, first smartphone guy like me. But with alot of bells and whistles, apparently, for the better initiated. So far flawless execution, though admittedly I don't need it to do alot. Vault feature is easy on the brain cells, not hard to figure. Tried this after attempting dashlane for a week w/ alot of head scratching. God bless the open source guys that love what they do for perfections sake. Thanks for a great app.

Worth the cost!! It's easy to import your passwords and set up on all your devices. It allows you to sync on all your devices. IT'S SAFE AND SECURE!! I don't store any logins on my devices or browsers anymore. It has an authenticator built in as well for 2 factor authentication, which is the only way to truly secure your accounts. I'm not a super tech person but I am not completely novice either so I think it is user friendly for any level of computer/tech abilities.

Amazing app. Works on Android, browsers and desktop. Filling forms works like a charm. I like how you can easily see when the vault is locked with a little icon. After trying Bitwarden for a couple weeks, I just signed up for their plan to show my appreciation. Was using LastPass for years, but it was so buggy (especially on mobile) that I wanted to switch away. LastPass with their recent "forced upgrade" was the catalyst I need to try a new solution.

Great Password Management Utility. Nice, intuitive interface. Excellent organization options. Has a black theme. Can export to Bitwarden account (for free) as well as to your device and /or cloud. Can even backup card info! Of all the password management apps this is, by far, the best I've used. The only thing I would change is the in-app password field could be longer so I could see the entire password at a glance...but considering how great the app is overall that is minor.

There is not a better password manager that I know of and I use just the free version! It does everything you need with a password manager, like with the notes and custom field selection on top of ordinary information. Only thing and I don't think any password manager does this but just a side note to Bitwarden; I think it would be cool if you could add pictures into the information, as like in my identity, to be able to add my driver's license picture (just a suggestion).

I switched over to this from Chrome's password manager. Unfortunately, while the syncing feature is nice (across all browsers), it's VERY slow to pop up in the Android version of the app; sometimes I have to wait 60 seconds for it to finally load up the relevant passwords for a site. The interface is also a bit difficult to use and not always very self-explanatory (for instance, the symbols used are often ambiguous).

This is the best password. manager that I have used, and I've used a lot of them. The top benefit to this app, in my opinion, is the app's stability and reliability. And right behind, responsiveness. I requested a feature and received a response the same day. It was a complete response with what they have in the works and how my suggestion applies. And, it is continually being improved, so you don't need to switch apps and encounter conversions and new learning curves. Highly recommended.

I migrated from lastpass as well and I like it. I wasn't motivated by anger or anything. I had actually thought about leaving lastpass for a while (their manager was sufficient but somewhat clunky), but when they announced that they were limiting the free version I figured now was as good a time as any. So far it seems like a smoother experience across both desktop and mobile.

I was switching from LastPass since I'd be willing to spend some time finding and transfering to a different service rather than paying for cross-platform support. Easy savings when I'll be using password managers for years to come! Bitwarden made it really easy to transfer my data, and its functions are straightforward or similar to LastPass's, making it really easy to get used to the switch. I felt that this was the best option for people moving from LastPass.

It's confusing because there are options in the settings that aren't actually options in the phone app. I almost gave up, but after a little research, I learned I had to log in through the web to import my LastPass export file. UPDATE: Now that I've had some time with it, it works so much better than LastPass! I subscribed so that I could store files, but also just because it was so cheap and they deserve compensation for such a great product!

Switched from LastPass due to their essentially forced premium upgrade. Glad I did. Bitwarden is much better in my opinion and everything just feels faster and smoother than LastPass. I love it so much that I upgraded to premium just to show my support and keep it free for many others, only $10 a year anyway. I also like their premium password security features. Hopefully, they don't make the same mistake LastPass is making right now but we'll have to wait and see I guess.
