Countdown Days App & Widget counts days until your next special event.

The Countdown app has a minimalistic design, a beautiful home screen widget and reminder with notifications for upcoming dates.

With the Countdown app you can track days left for all your events. For example: you can create birthday countdown, vacation countdown, but also count days until retirement date, wedding ceremony, baby due date (pregnancy) or any other event in your life.

Despite what the reply to my previous review said, I know it was my countdown widget that made the ad pop up on my phone. No, I did not have the app open, nor did I click on it. My other apps do not throw up ads, I am vigilant about this because it annoys me to no end. It will block your whole screen with an ad unless you pay for it.

Ever since installing this my phone has been randomly restarting and getting extremely hot. I didn't realise this app was the cause for quite some time and nearly bought a new phone. Eventually I started the phone in safe mode and managed to work it out from there.

Excellent countdown app allows selection of a calendar event or set a specific date. Color and font themes are adjustable for each widget. The "decrease circle with time" feature is a nice touch as a visual of how long the countdown has been running. Also love that I can choose when to start decrementing the circle.

Nice app, and love the ability to select an event from my Calendar. Some key improvements would be: - Ability to hide particular calendars, i.e. public holidays, when selecting an event from calendar as well as ability to choose a particular date to quickly navigate said calendar event. Update: Thanks for adding the ability to add a home screen widget for a created event within the app rather than having to duplicate the effort if you wish to have both.

I was looking for a simple app to countdown the days for my overseas travels, the reviews seem promising but lacked many key features (not many tech replies to issues, so now doubting the legitimacy of the positive reviews). Mainly, the home screen widget doesn't show the countdown, just a fixed ring. I found It easier to write a review than to try to navigate the app... I guess nothing beats old school reliable paper calanders with a 'X' on the date

I like it! Works for me. I have a one-day countdown set to repeat daily. I use it to let me know if I took my pill. On notes I have M T W Th F Sa Sn. I edit daily marking the day the pill was taken example: M/ T/ W/ T F Sa Sn. Apart from that I paid for fonts and their great. All in all it keeps me on track. There's one countdown that I assigned 20 days to get it done. There by helping me maintain awareness that time is ticking. Very helpful indeed.

Perfect! Works exactly as advertized. The developer(s) are very nice, and fast, about responding to issues. I had a problem with adding widgets (that I had already set up) to my new phone, and the problem was fixed so fast I didn't even realize. Thank you again Andrea!

love it! you can set up several different count downs at once and unless you stop it,the app begins adding time instead of subtracting. the free version does everything it says and works terrific. the fee version $2.99 just lets you tweak the basic version.

This has always been a great app. However, can NOT get the events in Datal order. Reading Left to Right. Following how you would actually read them. Sorted ascending or descending, is just the same. It's sorted left to right, then can be right to left or whatever the app decides. It's random order

But may you show Exceeded Day in- 'minus'. Such as- -1 Day Tried many & uninstalled , but it only which can always show day countdown on home screen !

It works! (I did have to delete the preset countdown the app comes with because its widget never showed the label) but after that hiccup, it works fine. I like its ability to turn events from Google Calendar into countdowns. A more precise to-the-minute countdown would be nice, but the current one counts days and that’s good enough for now.

Clear, minimalist design with no ads and neglectable premium features. However, it needs 2 more features to be useful: widgets need to show up inside the app and dates need to adapt to changes to events added through the calendar. Also, if it is true that this app plays an alarm before the end, there has to be an option to turn that off.

Works excellent, the only flaw I noticed was that when you make a widget you have to create a new event rather than choose of one of the ones you have already created. However, you are able to change and customize the widget to a great degree before having to get premium for example to change the font. Love this app. Thank you!

It's a really good app, to use as a widget to count down days. I have been using it for around 4 months now. However, I would like them to update the UI of the widgets and the app as it seems really old compared to the apps that are being released nowadays. ads are shown, but at a negligible rate. Ig everyone needs a source of income somehow.

Very easy to set up multiple widgets, customise, and set to the home page on my phone. Ignore the help video that's supposed to tell you how to do this; it doesn't. Just click the three dots on your new widget instead and the option to add to home comes up in that menu. I now have days, weeks & months to my wedding day on my homescreen - exactly what I wanted. Thanks!

There aren't a lot of countdown counters that are this simple, and that is definitely a plus. It could however use a little bit more customization options. Like: reverse full vs empty bar, start date vs days for full bar. An option I'd really like to see is the full week small print when you select workdays only. So, 10/14 for two weeks (10 workdays and 14 days in total). Now I use two 1x1 counters for this. But not a bad app at all! Even with these minor limitations I still recommend it.
