Arbitrary DELETED many of my contacts, including an important new one I saved and used last week! Search does not work at all! Utterly unreliable. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE app! People, export what you can salvage from this. AWFUL!!!

Syncing works fine for me. However I'm annoyed that I can't view a contact's details beyond name and photo without using the "edit" function. I can't be the only person out there who occasionally needs to look at a contact's mailing address. To do this from the contact detail screen you must use the "edit" button. So weird.

It's interface need to be more user friendly designed with some colours added to it like red for hang up the phone and green for pickup up. I shifted to this application because of the trust i have on Google than on redmi. Thank you for this application!🙏

Very good app. I wish it had a walk through explaining to people why they lose contacts because different apps naming and conventions muddle the concept. Especially when these apps ask save to sim card or email or local storage.

I wish there was a way to move more than 1 contact between accounts. I just started using this, to organize my contacts and I can only move 1 at a time between Google accounts. Other than that great app, especially since I can have multiple accounts at the same time.

Can't set basic function like what contact to see. It also have different UI than phone app. And I thought google is a software company. LoL. They can't even match phone with contact app, let alone the integration between the two. Is there a way to give 0 stars for a stock app that literally defines the meaning of a smartPHONE, is sold on a 1200€ phone and it can't even make some basic contact stuff? And they even wonder why everyone is buying iphone or Samsung.

The gigantic bottom and top bar is a waste of space. The Contacts button is useless. The Fix & Manage button should be a menu item. No need for a dedicated bottom bar for this. It's a complete waste of space. New contacts fields show Significant Date and Birthday but you have to click More Fields to enter an address. I thought this was a contacts app. On Pixel Watch it doesn't show the address, or any field besides phone number, so you can't use it for navigation to an address.

I am unable to search my contacts while typing in search bar even though the contact is saved. I have selected the settings to 'all accounts' instead of 'email'. This is happening after the recent update. Its frustrating as I have to drag the side bar all the way to find alphabetical the required contact instead if searching in the search bar. Please rectify the issue.

It's a good app until you drag down and refresh. It doesn't refresh fast. Refresh is like it's taking forever. I couldn't wait for that long time, so, in the end, I chose to close it and go to settings > Accounts & Sync > Google > Sync.

In Contacts there should be one option to set a ringtone for a group. Say for example we can create a group named family can set a ringtone for that. Then priority can't be missed. The same option is available in some of the contact apps. Mi contact is having such feature. Google also should come with that.

Want contact info I stored only - not weather reports, big photos that take half the display area, or other useless info that causes me to have to click and scroll to read what I stored. Why does this app not have any options to turn off these frivolous things and revert back to a contact list instead of a do-it-all app?

What is wrong for Google Contacts? Why is not syncing with my One Plus contacts? I have tried every usual stuff - restarting, manually trying to sync but just not happening. This was one of the biggest reason for being on Android Phones that everything seemlessly synced wih the Google account. Now I have some contacts saved on Google contacts but not on phone and some saved on phone but not on Google contacts. Plz plz fix.

Latest version don't show phone number tags (Work, Mobile, etc) while selecting a contact to send a message to. Someone messed up the code. It always showed them. It's not a settings issue. Please fix asap. Thank you

Searching for a contact comes up blank. Contacts that I know are there don't show up. Can't click to see a contact. It's crazy. Doesn't even function. Not being able to merge and de-duplicate contacts without a "suggestion" is not user friendly.

Missing basic features. Not even user friendly... Twenty year old features.. 1.The call history data limit is only for 3 months, should be at least 3 to 5 years. 2. No automatically call recordings for... Saved or unsaved contacts. 3. Speaks loudly for recodings 4. After searching contacts one cannot see history ... Need to switch to dialer. Keeps 3 months old history and Recordings. 5. One cannot search contacts with random numeric digit e.g. with last four / middle digits.

It is randomly adding images to contacts that i have not set the images myself. And it is unable to bulk remove them or have an option to turn the feature off as well. Even when i dont save any gmail info along with the contact it is adding the contact image by itself. Please fix.

The latest improvements are very good. The app operates seemlessly. I noticed the previous update added weather information to the contact's address. That was a brilliant addition. I'm disappointed you removed it.

"I'm a devoted user of Google Contacts and I have a couple of ideas that I believe could make it even better. "Fantastic app! Please consider adding 'Copy to another account' in the menu and 'Select Specific Contacts' before exporting files. These features would greatly enhance usability. Thanks!"
