I just got a new phone and literally no matter what I do I can't get my tabs to sync. I have 400 tabs open on Chrome on my phone. I have both phones synced to the same account. I've tried disabling chrome on my new phone and enabling it. I've signed in and out on both phone multiple times. Everything I find on the internet just tells me to "makes sure all my devices are synced" and it hasn't been helpful. My old phone is really broken so it's just hard to use and this has been very frustrating

Last update broke it. Now it for some reason refreshes every 2-3 seconds, or at least the screen blinks rapidly and prevents you from switching tabs or interacting with the page at all. The screen flickering and resetting the page also continuously speeds up. Impossible to use at the moment. Using Galaxy S23 Ultra. Yes, connection is verified, I can't file a report because the link opens in chrome, which is unusable, so I'd have to install another browser. Please relay to the tech team.

Not sure about other browser's, but I've used Chrome for over 10 years & it's been great. No lagging, quick searches for info, accurate history and quick downloads. My passwords are automatically encrypted and saved. It does all the things I need a browser to do. And if I want privacy all I gotta do is hit incognito mode and my activity is private and secure.

The tabs for my saved open pages is HORRIBLE. The tabs only show about 10 letters of the page. Half the tabs show no pictures. So it is a guessing game as to what those pages are. Who ever designed this needs to be fired. Seriously. Please bring back the list. Until you do I am personally going to stop using the chrome browser and I will check back from time to time to see if this has been fixed.

Used to be great. Recent update removed the tab list and replaced it with an ugly and inefficient grid. Google keeps trying to force this monstrosity by re-enabling grid view randomly for YEARS. Annoying but until recently it was easy to change the setting. Well now Google has removed the list view settings altogether and forced grid view. Nope, no thanks. Firefox has list view, so I'm switching to that.

The browser is getting worse as i update. Pls help out in setting it stable. If i could send a picture of what i'm passing through, you will understand better. It will just display colour and i won't see any text at all, even if i type. Still facing the same issue, i will have to open and close the app several times b4 it can work properly. What is going on

Been using it for a long time. Had no issues. I just want the older version of tab display. It was quick and easy to switch from one tab to another. Now when you click on the tab button, it takes you to another window where the tabs are displayed in extra large form. Is there anyway to go back to the old functionality of tab switch. I tried in settings but nothing helped. Hope you will get back to me.

There are too many ads. It takes too much space when browsing. I'm also tired of google trying to push tab grid layout. I've previously been able to fix it multiple times, but I'm unable to do so anymore. It made me contemplate moving to Firefox multiple times. The grid layout is completely useless to me. I used to be able to read the title of the page in 2 seconds and quickly identify the tab I want. Having to look at the tile takes like 10 seconds and the amount of scrolling necessary.

I updated the app on 10/16/2023 and now I have to open it about 20 times before it stays open but it will close out every few minutes. Very frustrating. Also sometimes when I try to type in places it shows the previous website I was on until I type and hit enter. It takes my entry but doesn't show the page in typing on. Makes loggins very difficult.

Over all, this is a nice & secure browser. But at times we need to open a web page just like on a computer. Desktop view on this Android web browser differs from the same page on a computer. Hence some blanks in some applications can't be filled up. So, please provide the same page view on this browser as on computer. Otherwise, it is superb in all aspects
New Life
To enhance user experience, Google Chrome could introduce touch-enabled controls for adjusting sound volume and screen brightness. Allowing users to slide their finger on the right side of the screen for volume control and on the left side for brightness adjustment would provide a more intuitive browsing experience. This feature would eliminate the need for navigating through menus or using physical buttons, offering greater convenience and ease of use to users. Thank you so much for reading!

Doesn't support fullscreen. Supposing within a site you've clicked on an image or gallery to open that in a dedicated tab. Most images are landscape and you want to use all of your phones high res screen. If the image is displayed too large when you go landscape then you can sort of scroll a bit to get rid of the bar, but you can't see the whole image at once. If you can see the whole image then the ability to scroll doesn't exist so the bar stays. Either way you're stuck with no solution.

Chrome is probably the worst browser that I've used so far in terms of handling ads. It gets hijacked so easily to force ads on you and take you to other apps that it's laughable. None of the suggested fixes, like disabling redirection or app linking work. It's made viewing many websites a chore since your browsing is constantly interrupted by ads that force open other apps. That's not very encouraging in a security sense. Firefox, otoh, works like a charm.

What the actual hell... I've happily been using Chrome for years. However, the past week or so, it is totally unusable. When I open a webpage, it just flickers like it's loading, then reloading the webpage continuously. I've tried everything. This is so frustrating. I'm switching to the native Samsung internet, I guess. Brutal.

My browser keeps getting unstable by every new update. Now it's not even working as a browser on my phone anymore. When you click a link, it doesn't show up as part of the browsers to choose in opening the link. If you activate it as the dafault browser app, congratulations, you can no longer open any links at all. It's so horrible. When you're filling a form, boom, it automatically refreshes the page and you loose all the progress you've made. It keeps freezing randomly and crashing.

The page often freeze after a few minutes especially if an animation is running, and you will never be able to scroll again no matter how long you wait. Only if you switch to a different tab and return back to the page, or if you lock and unlock your device does it resume. Notes: *my device has abundant memory, storage, etc. *Other tabs are active so its not the entire browser that's frozen. *Also its been this way across a couple of previous versions.

I've been using this application for years now. I've never been this frustrated before. This is where I download stuffs, like music, videos and sometimes even picture. And yet, those files are nowhere to be found which is funny 'cos the file manager pre-installed in my phone is GOOGLE's file manager. I've tried searching for the way how to see my hidden files and/or look for the reasons why the files are not visible. But nothing's working. Even if I keep on updating the application.

Been using chrome since it first came out. It was pretty good. But since last few days (possibly coinciding with last release), it just says it cannot reach internet. No other recent reports of this behaviour. Everything else works so I have moved to Firefox. (Sorry about the one star review, but as they say, a reputation takes a lifetime to get ad a moment to lose). A fix would help.
