The BT sport app was great. The Discovery+ app sucks. Nightmarish UX. Slow as hell. Horrible experience and it's clearly affecting a lof of users if you read all the similar comments. Also, a lot of the content beyond sports looks like cheapo Netflix, the Wish / Aliexpress version.

Same problems as everyone else, drops out, buffering,. Done everything suggested but still same issues. And you want £30 per month for what is an appalling use experience!! Strangely never does the above when ads are on🤔. So unstable, so re-installed and guess what.....you got it same problem and don't blame the "device" it's fine with all other apps.

Poor streaming experience. Live sports are so jerky and stuttering. Can't watch! It's not the WiFi as literally every other streaming app on my tablet works fine. On the old BT app the picture quality would just decrease if it couldn't keep up (not freeze and stutter). You can't watch sports like this!

Way too many ads for a PAID service. Back to back, obnoxious adverts, in the middle of documentaries about victims of murder. Not cool. It's actually putting me off these brands more than anything, not sure advertisers realise that... The current Kellogs one is just too much, then it'll play 3 times in one ad break. I've switched over to other streaming services as a result.

Abysmal since BT Sport was moved to TNT and Discovery+. I tried watching the Champions League yesterday, and it froze EVERY time I tried to connect. I have no similar problems with ANY OTHER apps. Get your bloody act together and sort this out, as currently millions of people are paying for a completely useless (would have used worse words, but trying to be sensible). If it continues, I will seriously look at ditching BT.

Streams lagging, then stopping on Chromecast. Never had a problem with the BT Sport app. Not liking this enforced change so far. When watching directly on my phone I'm barely getting 20fps. And it's not my network, internet, router, anything like that, it's this app. Please sort it out. Running up to date version on OnePlus Nord 2T (also up to date)

BT Sport app was miles better at watching TNT Sport. D+ lay out feels and looks trouble. Also why is a sports channel like TNT SPORT mixed up with D+ TV SHOWS? Just separate them, no? Automatically logs me out. When I try logging in on Discovery+ on my mobile. It just spins for ages, then tells me wrong password, which is actually the correct password I am entering. So frustrating! BRING BACK THE BT SPORT APP!

Trying to watch TNT sports is near impossible, it just keep lagging all the time and this is with 5G enabled as well. Really poor sports streaming app compared to BT sports app. With BT sports app you had the option to lower the video quality and that would usually stop the lagging but I'm not seeing that feature here... Sadly.

To many Ads, the app it self has great viewing and great shows, the app works perfectly, my issue is i paid for a subscription and now im getting ads, i have asked for a refund as i will not pay a subscription and get ads. Sad really i had discovery+ the first day it came to ireland but the ads are a deal breaker for me. I don't even use YouTube anymore because of ads.

Hello Devs, I have a Samsung Galaxy S8. I cannot watch LIVE football matches directly on my device because I get a BLACK screen with just AUDIO and the controls. If I CAST the stream to my CHROMECAST device it works fine. What is going on with this? Everything seems to have gone downhill since BT SPORT changed to TNT SPORTS via DISCOVERY+. PLEASE FIX ASAP. Many Thanks.

This app is terrible compared to the BT Sport App. The BT Sport app had a much better calendar for simplicity to see all of the upcoming events and was even able to add reminders to events and add them to your phone's calendar. This is just a garbled mess to navigate.

This app takes me to a completely black and blank screen. On my supported tv, it comes up with a drm error, reported that around 7 months ago and still not fixed. Then my iptv box has the app too and that doesnt work either. 3 different devices where I am paying £60/year not to be able to watch it. Do not download or subscribe to it.

On my Pixel 8 Pro I continually have to log in, everytime I use it, and some of the aspect ratios are just horrible.....on my Nvidia Shield TV Pro, I'm forced to have the App to continue watching TNT(BT) sport, and while on WIRED 900-980mbps fibre broadband matches continue to drop out due to 'loss of internet connection'. Absolutely useless app, needs a fix and needs it ASAP, £30 per month for this rubbish, extremely unhappy customer

Edit: updating to latest version of Chromecast helped, but problem still there with the old version. Original:No way to get subtitles working when using Chromecast from Android. No way to "tap the video" to get the menu, no alternative way to access the menu. Pretty much unusable.

I've never experienced issues using the BT sport app so it's disappointing coming across to the D+ app. Trying to navigate the sloth like LG smart TV app is painful and pointlessly complex with poor quality stream quality with intermittent pausing and audio issues, can view the same content via the PS5 without these issues. No issues at all when viewing 4K YouTube, Netflix, Apple TV. I can't see me staying subscribed for £29.99pm for such a poor experience. Would not recommend atm

I would love this app if not for the constant 2-3 minute ad breaks every 10 minutes it makes this unwatchable and I will be deleting now. So I don't recommend this app to anyone unless you don't mind watching the same ads over and over again. There isn't even a choice to upgrade for no ads. Shame its such a let down as it has great content.

Can't watch a whole episode in one go via Chromecast as it always crashes to a grey screen with a "try again" message after the ad breaks. So you have to constantly reconnect. Painful. Tried with different devices and have the same problem with every show, so it must be a problem with Discovery.

This new discovery + app it s a joke! I have been watching football live game for the last 5 years on my phone with BT sport app as part of my EE contract and I never add any issue. I gave it the benefit of the doubt at first but I can t watch a football game on discovery plus. The channel is jumping all the time. Never stable. Please fix the issue!!!
