I had hoped to have had a better selection on Prime, but I am unsure how these films managed to reach the screen. Many of them are unwatchable, even when the English language is spoken. Subtitles where are they for the hard of hearing and the deaf to understand? I am saddened that there's so much rubbish apps with frustrating adverts and unnecessary charges. It is rare to find a serious story lines, some are just laughable and one example is the drama series Salvation, utterly disappointing.🙄

The app works well overall. The only downside is that not all the movies are available to watch with an amazon prime subscription, some need to be rented or bought. Other than that, sometimes there are issues with the syncing of episodes in series. I have to remember what episode I am at because the app doesn't sync🤷‍♀️ or else I loose the spot I was at.

This app sucks. They have some really cool shows and movies... and it comes with Prime, but man, the app is so frustrating. It doesn't load fast... or sometimes at all. Free apps like Tubi work better. It also randomly skips forward in show you are actively watching. Don't have a connection issue. It is only this app.

I didn't mind the problems because I could get access to shows that could not get access to anywhere else, unfortunately now I'm of a different opinion. For the 8th time in a row after a security protocol change my account locked down and refused to let me in even with all information, then I call and email someone to fix and yet after multiple attempts with the correct info, I've been told my account is deleted for insufficient information. If you do not want to lose money steer away.

Great content, awful app. Every time I swipe down from the top of the screen to change the brightness on my phone the video stops. Then if I miss a bit and drag back along the progress bar the whole screen goes black while the sound continues. No way to fix this other than going back to the home screen of the app. Also not very intuitive with the zoom.

Annoying notifications telling me I can't have subtitles when I didn't ask! Randomly appearing then blocking the screen and staying welded to the screen for about the next hour!! It is impossible to clear and when you have given up watching and come out of the application it is still glued to your phone slowing you down doing anything else!! If it wasn't for this highly frustrating issue would be a really good service and a good application

Though there is quite a bit of good content, filtering it from the crud that is for sale or only available through other subscriptions is extremely annoying! Amazon, clean up the clutter, or provide a filter to do so. FYI., Anything that is for rent, sale, or through another subscription, by default, we immediately ignore/reject. And if we choose to watch any of those shows, we've get them through a different service until you clean up your interface.

Class for seeing movies and series that can be hard to find. The actual interface is quite a mess but it works, can be laggy at times. Also with this, there are some movies or series that you have to rent or buy in which some of these you dont get the option and you can only watch it on your TV/laptop. If that and the interface was a bit more user friendly it would definitely be one of the better streaming platforms

It's fine, I guess. It plays the videos eventually, but there's an unusually long buffering delay that only seems to exist for this app, not with other streaming services. And for some reason, Amazon seems to make it awfully hard to search for something you want to watch. They really push whatever show they want to be the hit new thing, and keep sacrificing user convenience on the altar of trying to get you to pay for premium channels.

Great, for the most part, BUT: Android version: when casting to a television, there is an option to skip 10 seconds forward or backward. However, I've tested it, and it's nothing close to 10 seconds. In addition, the button becomes unusable while it is loading. This means there's a limit of about 30 seconds that I can rewind or fast forward at any given time, without actually scrolling forward and backward. This is very inefficient and impractical...

If you're like myself and prefer to force stop on apps that aren't essential to your phones core functionally, specifically for the purpose of making sure your phone is running at optional speeds and you'd rather not waste valuable mobile data, especially if you're service provider charges extra after you exceed a certain amount, when you don't have access to a WiFi connection then you must disable this app instead. There is absolutely no way around it. I've explored every single setting.

Audio working but video is not. I tried contacting support but the email address you have under developer contact bounces back. When I go to pick up where I left off, the screen is black. I can hear it and see the subtitles, but no images/video. This started a few months ago and I noticed my other apps started freezing up. So, I deleted the Prime Video app for a while and my other apps were fine. I installed it again last night and it's doing the same thing. Blank video. Please help!

I like the absence of commercials. I don't like how you lose your place after perusing videos, and selecting one to read about it, and then backing out of it to unexpectedly find yourself at the top of the home screen. Also, I don't like how difficult it is to scroll down through the clutter to find my "Start Watching" list. Also, when scrolling through video images right or left, the row keeps moving on its own, and won't let me select a video until it stops moving. Other apps don't do that.

The app is average. Not easy to look up movies, shows etc. Since Amazon Prime has added Freevee movies I'm experiencing a lot of technical issues and crashes when watching Freevee. I actually don't choose the Freevee options, it's not worth the aggravation. Amazon should consider that if you pay a monthly subscription fee for a particular channel, it should include ALL program offerings and NO buy or rent programs. We've already paid for the right to watch.

DELETE THIS APP. Movies and shows watchlists feature is horrible. You have to keep clicking right just to see what you have saved. Then when you chick on one to delete, it sends you back to the beginning of the list. So now you have to click another 47 times to get back to where you left off. And, there's no notifications when your watchlist shows are leaving. Plus, the trailers are just 2 minutes of the movie, which doesn't tell you much about it at all. That's not a trailer.

It's a work n progress, IMO, that no one cares to work on. ALOT of the lifetime movies aren't available for viewing anymore or, it goes to FreeVee, meaning, ads/commercial interruptions within the content n overall availability/updating doesn't change for the entire app. That's why I pay for apps to get away from constant interruptions!! Could use some better navigation options, like Hulu, where remove shows/movies, that u have no interest n watching. Not happy w it at all. FIX YOUR BUFFERING!!

Some strange behaviors. Sometimes I can't get the x-ray info about cast and so on to turn off or to stay off, and sometimes the display goes black if I don't interact with it for a couple of minutes. Minutes. This is all problems I'm having on a Chromebook. Tablet running Android applications. Quite frustrating, it means I have to watch video on my phone which works better.

The Prime App is not very intuitive. The viewer must click the Skip 10 Seconds feature in order to get to the Skip Intro option. There's no way to change seasons and episodes without backing out of the show, and even then, it's not easy. I've noticed that the app forgets what episode I'm on, either starting me back at Epidode 1 or skipping ahead to a different episode or even season. It's in desperate need of a pop down menu for easier navigation.
