It was very hard if we want to log in into our own account event we already use the right password! i don't know what is the point of developer of this application to make it like that. Maybe the developer don't want us to use our wechat account in our new phone or another phone cause i have tried to log into wechat into my new phone but it stuck at verify identity with blank screen. wechat keep send message at old phone told us that someone log in into our account but we can not confirm anythin

Stupid App, I can't even log in through password or even sms (which I never received). If you are lucky and succeed in logging in, you have to verify with a person that hasn't verified another account during the past month. It's a model for a (Communist App)

BEWARE even If you never login this app constantly force random excessive login screen pop up in its attempt to gather your data! You will not notice and wouldnt know this activity if you were logged in! This is all wiithout given explicit permission. Notifications and all permissions are disabled already! Why so invasive, violating snd took over on top of other running apps and so out of control???? Rude app 😒

I downloaded WeChat I downloaded It and it was successful, but it wouldn't let me sign up for the game. It wouldn't let me log in to the game attempt to log into the game. I did a bunch of back door stuff to try to get into the game so I can try for its experience and I wasn't able to get in it. It's like a month for me to find the sign up for it. And want to signed up for it?You guys no longer allow people to play. Cause I click on the game and the game will notload up.need help sign. In2wechat

I had been using this app for several years to play a game that used this as a way to login, but my account has gotten blocked, and I have no friends linked to the account, so I basically have no way of ever getting my stuff back from the game, I spent years leveling up my characters as well as my level. If I can get help to unban my account I can boost the star rating, but for now imma have to keep it as is

Awful! Application on the planet. I wanted to be in touch with my friends in mainland China, but what I encountered was garbage. A stupid sign-up method where nothing practically works properly. UI is more older than my grandma. Practically a censorship tool used by Mainland china which is why, they never bother to update themselves

Works ok, on samsung galaxy 23, it sends messages and photos great. Voice calls and video calls work fine. Hard to login to the app if you sign out as the login via sms doesnt work (no msg sent) and also the hold to talk feature doesnt seem to work

The sound of some string instruments was described as faded away in seconds, bad algorithm even I can write a better one than this. Video call is generally poor in quality. However text msgs are kinda okay someways. That worths additional star.

I realize security is important and I'm glad at least some app pretends to care, but the log in and set up was so absolutely convoluted and unnecessary. I don't have many friends in mainland China so I can't just have various neighbors verify my phone number in that time limit. Current phone number is locked out so basically this app has bricked itself by choice.

This would have to the most stupiest app... A part from the ridiculous sign up requirements with contacting a friend to verify you.. And when they do, I does not work, the SMS codes don't come, to send an SMS as, they request doesn't work and then the first time I log in my account gets blocked and then you send the SMS to unblock and it does not get to them.. The best thing with this stupid app is to delete it 😡

Even when chat history is blank and no back up were ever good, it is still 1GB storage. WHAT IS IT STORING? It is a nightmare to log in using SMS pin. Log in for just the saved contact, no chat history, no preference saved. Garbage. The anonymity/privacy is two sided, at the worst it promotes hackers, scammers and bluffers.

Very poor app. Too much restrictions and if you are signing in for the first time and you don't have any friends on wechat, then you won't be able to sign up. Too much disappointment. Lost my account due to phone change and couldn't able to retrieve it as they asked friend's verification. None of my weChat friend ever used Whatsapp or facebook so couldn't able to retrieve my account. This app is full of disappointments. Whatsapp, Signals and Telegram are much better option to use

I can't unblock my account unless I have an active friend in the app. Two friends tried to help me but unable since their phone numbers aren't the same as registered in the app. I can't possibly find another way to unblock the account which is ridiculous. Not even the support center to help.

After update this apps become useless always cannot log in, can't connect Internet issue, unable to log in, server error, slot of issue, since when I change new phone all data on this apps become zero all gone, and it's very hard to log in as normal need to log in 100 times please fix this issue as soon and we will have to be honest with you

Convert button after not pressing it disappears forever while a person I'm talking in China can tap and hold the recording and convert and translate whenever. Please see to it. I have to use simultaneously google translate or say could you repeat and it's getting annoying. Thanks

Registration was easy! I added one friend then shut the app. One hour later, I wanted to join a group call and found that I was restricted due to a 'violation'. After the given time, it said I could remove the violation. Verified my phone number and then the nitemare started. I needed a friend to verify me, BUT I couldn't add new contacts. My one and only friend was also unable to verify me. Now I can't even delete my account! Submitting a report to the WeChat team did not get any help.

Sign up is easy, although idk why it has to be convoluted, but the neat part is u must never allow your account to be logged out. It's simply impossible to log back in somehow. This app is riddled with bugs and connection issues. I hope Chinese people used other messaging services instead. I wouldn't install this garbage if not for my clients there.

Stupid 'security verification', it requires an existing WeChat user to scan your code. I don't have any Chinese friends near me, so I can't set up an account. I wanted WeChat for local Chinese-owned businesses like restaurants... Even up until that point, it was slow and kept crashing at the first screen. Can't even open the app, it freezes up completely. Terrible app
