What you can do

Every important thing is easily accessible and the more obscure options can be found easily. No jumping through hoops yet it's secure enough that I haven't been hacked yet in 5 years. Doesn't look too bad either, generally a good app

Easy to log in and use. I have confidence in the servitor of the app and like how quickly it logs out of inactive. I find the ads re banking services a bit annoying but it's easy to bypass them to start with.

Never works I put in my log in details and says 'you've been logged off' and I have to call them which also doesn't work. I've tried changing password, user name but nothing works. Also the memorable information is the most stupid thing ever invented. It's basically another password except you have to know random letters from it, which also doesn't work. Stupid app do not use

Generally convenient, and very secure but sometimes frustrating to use. It won't allow my password manager app to fill the password when I approve a transfer, and when I change screens to copy it, it logs me off.

its ok but at times refuse my password- need to visit the bank! Hate this as they send mail to start again (up to 10 days! Who wants to wait that long??), but ive never received a mail.. so trip to the bank again! this app and Halifax are bad apps(same app provider) any app reboot upsets them... password don't work....so off to the bank to reset, this they know about it as found out when to talking to the app section. But won't change to new app

App was really good and easy to use, however recently it has developed an issue and you can no longer download or view attachments / documents from Lloyd's banking group. This kind of defeats the object of sending important messages digitally if the clients can't read them.

App works well but recently due to a conflict either with Sony Xperia or your app, but the fingerprint scanner dies if I use the Lloyd's app. I login, use fingerprint. Do what I need to do in the app then come out. Then fingerprint doesn't exist to android (settings disappear and doesn't work) . If I try to use bank app again, it warns me fingerprints have changed (they have not). To fix, reboot phone or re-log in to Lloyd's bank and log out. Fingerprint resumes.

It does the basics well but I can't even set up a direct debit to pay my credit card via the app which is poor, have to log in online but who remembers their details these days? Now on hold for customer services, 30 min wait times. They need to either properly staff the contact centre or make it so that you don't need to ring them by improving the app

Always breaking down. Refusing to verify correct details resulting in lock out of online banking. Additional to this you're unable to remove products no longer in use without going into an actual branch, which itself is both inconvenient and a waste of time being as they only ever have one or two staff members meaning a long wait. I have a redundant credit card and savings account that the app refuses to let me delete via the app. The app and Lloyds online banking is mostly terrible.

Works well but sometimes says there are problems at the Lloyds end and asks to restart it. Restarts then usually fail. Outages are warned in advance so this is not during scheduled outages. It now also notifies you of payments made on phone, but the notifications are rather slow to arrive.

Can no longer read messages as pdf download registers as a corrupt file. No change to my phone other than updating the Lloyds app, no issue downloading and viewing pdfs from other sources. It would also be useful if I could choose what order my accounts/credit cards are listed on the main page, or at the very least if Lloyds would just pick one order and stick to it consistently. Staying logged in rarely works either, despite closing the popup by opting to stay logged in.

Very easy to understand and navigate. Very clear information. Updates immediately. Useful to see credit score and super easy to apply for loan. Clear information. Very straight forward. Manage everything easily through the app.

I've just moved from i-Phone to Pixel 6a, & I really regret it. 'Coz while about 70% or 80% of apps open normally, this & a few others (that I really need) just close the second I open them. If i tap on a Lloyds Bank notification then this app opens as it should, but if I don't have any notifications then I just can't get access to check my finances. It wouldn't surprise me if I have done something stupid in the settings, but it's weird that it only affects some apps & not the rest.

Layout is not optimal. Hard to find things. Not many options. Could use more settings. Can't find transaction receipts and details in the app. Can't screenshot either. At least it gets the job done and transfers are smooth.

Very slow and complex to view messages, and even after several years I have not found how to delete them On launch often goes to a "Paperless Preference" page with no easy exit. To much un-requested help & advice. But transfers money ok when you get to the relevant section and displays balance clearly and promptly.

The app overall is very good and complete, however, when signing in if it doesn't recognise your fingerprint the first time it'll ask for your password. Very annoying as I would like to have the opportunity to try a second or third time with my fingerprint! Just like when you unlock your phone it asks for your passcode after a few tries? Or at least have the possibility to customise this as in "if fingerprint not recognised at first ask for password after so many tries or straight away."

It does what it's supposed to do. The only problem is that the notifications are not always on time. Sometimes you are notified straight away after the payment is made to your account, sometimes you have to check it by logging in yourself. Seems to be the only issue as far as my Lloyds Bank app experience shows.
