Way too much clutter on the home screen, even clicking on the search box it pops up with loads of clutter, you end up forgetting what you wanted to search, I'd never, never recommend this trash.

I like this app. It works very well. I don't understand why you don't add ublock origen to the list of downloads. I use this app most of the time but when I want youtube, I have to use another browser. If you would allow us to download ublock origen, I would not have to use another browser. Please consider adding it to your browser!

I do like the browser a lot, even though I think the name "Samsung Internet" is very bland. The main issue and the reason for 1 star is that it does not have a PC browser available. That make the browser unusable, since every time I log into my computer I have to use another browser and I don't have seamless switching between gadgets and no record of history or passwords. It means I had to start using a browser that works on both my phone and pc

Best browser app by show. It's the ONLY browser I've used with this much control over organizing bookmarks. There's tabs for easy organizing open pages, quick shortcuts, an incognito mode that saves between sessions and is locked behind a passcode, additional video controls, and more! One downside is some add-ons don't seem to work on non-Samsung devices, but not a huge issue.

Samsung browser is fine but has a few quirks - 1 When I open a new tab, the search field has a right hand parenthesis in it. Looks like -> ) And the search results for parentheses are up ready to read. This has been happening for months. It is odd. And unnecessary. 2 Open tabs are limited to 99. If you try to open 1 beyond that, Samsung closes 1 arbitrarily without asking & THEN a notice appears. I would prefer to be notified in advance so I could choose what to close.

On stock AOSP Android, browser still has black status bar while in light theme. Also, add an option to use completely black background instead of grey for color inverted webpages - it would be more consistent with the browser itself since it uses amoled black background. And also, why invert/recolor websites that already have dark theme support (prefers-color-theme), browser should prefer in-built dark theme for those sites to inverted one.

I like this browser. However, I recently upgraded from an S9 to an S23, and dark mode no longer provides a black background (more of a faded dark grey). Since Samsung Internet uses the phone's settings, there's no way to make the background of websites black. The only work-around is to turn on High Contrast in the browser settings. That makes your background nice and black, but then you have to contend with clown colors for hyper-links and headers. NEED TRUE DARK MODE!

The Samsung Internet browser app is trash. I completely shut down the Samsung Internet browser because I keep getting pop-up videos and ads. Even when my phone is turned off. I have tried to Delete the app, but it wont uninstall from my phone. Even with notifications shut off and everthing blocked and the app never been used to search, all i get is pop-up adds. I could be watching movies on Netflix, Prime, playing Call of Duty and out of no-where I get a pop-up ad in the middle of my match.

Incredible browser. Checks all the boxes. Proper night mode, adblock, real tabs, highly customizable, smooth. Small complaint. When I move address bar to the bottom where I believe it is best, the animation is not smooth every time I tap in the address bar. Specifically, the keyboard pushes the address bar further up the screen, and transporting the address bar doesn't animate but rather teleports. It looks terrible so I've moved the address bar back to the top until Samsung fixes.

So many issues lately, pages won't load, links will not open, payments won't go through. It's like the browser is not compatible with a lot of websites anymore because I'm going to Chrome and I'm not having the same issues and that sucks because I actually prefer the simplicity of the Samsung browser when using my phone.

Some websites don't work or the images won't load. I'm not able to report the problems to Samsung because I need an account! I refuse to be forced to create an account just to report faults with the browser! It's in your interest to fix these problems, why should I jump through hoops just to inform you? Many UK sites do not work, thankfully other browsers exist and work perfectly fine! Edit, still the same. Even the contact us link in the browser doesn't work. "This site can’t be reached" 🙄

I had seldom used it before. Due to an article about Samsung browser and Chrome (which I'm not using anymore), I am now discovering how good this app is. A lot of pros, cons, I would say by now, only two: poor UI, no colors, no themes, and the second one it should be "lighter". Uses too much memory space. Overall, I really like it although I still don't know if I will keep it. Opera has improved a lot it's browsers, and are lighter, with great UI, and useful and beautiful features no others have

It's generally alright and has a decent amount of useful features, but it also has a few annoyances, the one which I notice the most being that quite often when you open it, it'll open the last tab in your list of tabs, not necessarily the one that you were using last. I find it quite annoying to have to keep switching back between tabs when there's one I use most frequently and it decides to go straight to the last tab in the list. The UI is also a bit unrefined for my tastes.

I've been using this app for almost a year now, and while I still have chrome I don't use it nearly as much. The big reason that I moved over to this browser is due to a bunch of updates with layout changes for chrome that you couldn't easily fix to be what you want. Instead, this app has a bunch of different features and layout options that are extremely easy to change. I also feel like it's private mode is a lot more secure compared to chrome.

I spend quite a bit of time using a browser. I was a bit apprehensive moving to a new one with so much stuff in chrome. I really like chrome, too. The switch was very simple and everything synced over. I only needed a couple of passwords so that was not an issue. Samsung Internet Browser has been fantastic! The ad blocking etc have been fantastic. It has been quick and stable. Biometric authentication is very handy.

Constant interruption. No matter if you disable it or not it still pops up with different pages or does the information for Samsung internet. I could be in the middle of a zoom call with work and it does it. It's very annoying. Thinking of switching to iPhone after this. As of the latest Samsung update of 10/18/22, the app still starts on its own and covers the whole screen.

It keeps randomly opening to ads constantly. And what I mean by that is I'll be in the middle of a text or playing a game and all the sudden it'll open up with ads. It's been wasting my battery and it's utterly annoying. ***** it's not your traditional ad either, like the ones you get while playing games. Most of the time it's a website about Healthcare or buying a home. And it takes forever to let me out of it *****

For the most part, it's the best mobile browser, especially with its forced dark mode (makes everything dark, unlike other browsers that still keep some things bright white). My only complaint is how, a few updates ago, Samsung increased the amount of time you have to long press something to open it in a new tab. It used to be instantaneous, but now it literally takes about two whole seconds. They have to fix that and make it instantaneous because it's both time consuming and annoying.
