Locate your lost Android device and lock it until you get it back

Features
See your phone, tablet, or other Android devices and accessories on a map. If the current location isn’t available, you’ll see the last online location.

Use indoor maps to help you find your devices in airports, malls, or other large buildings

Navigate to your devices with Google Maps by tapping the device location and then the Maps icon

Play a sound at full volume, even if a device is set to silent

Erase a lost Android device, or lock it and add a custom message and contact info on the lock screen

See the network and battery status

my phone has been missing for a month and it shows in the same areas. I see where UT is but it keeps moving and I have to refresh it by tgen it's way somewhere else. it says location is off when it's obviously on, sometimes it won't work at all , sometimes it'll work then while I'm trying to go follow the phone it stops or won't refresh or says location unavailable, or no internet. sometimes one email won't work to locate the phone but the other one will. ect. I can keep on and on and on.

This app has helped me several times. As long as you stay updated you'll be good. When I did end up needing to use the app, it was so simple and quick. If I had to make a recommendation, then I guess the only one I have is this: a good feature I would like to have also, is when we're given the option to wipe our data and lock our phones, if it could take a photo or even better a quick hand full of pics before locking the user out. Still I give this a very rare 5 stars. 👍

This app is virtually worthless. Trying to find my friend's phone for them and it requires 2 point authentication by sending a code to the phone for verification....the lost phone. Dear programmers....I don't think you understood the assignment. SMH. This is only good for finding your own devices or to find a friend's devices other than their phone. You'll have to use a computer for the find my phone feature.

It does just what it says. This app quickly and effortlessly locates a missing device. I've had phones stolen lost you name it and each time this app brought me right to it. I like the features where you can leave a personal message on the screen lock the phone up or just wipe it all together. Great app. Easy lay out easy navigation.

Everytime I log into a pit saying no active devices however the devices aren't lost their actually in my hand. I check to see if the following was on and they are: location, Wi-Fi, Data. I am able to use the website and see the devices, just not I'm the app. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app and nothing has changed, please help!

I think this is a fantastic app. The only thing I think it needs is a way to be able to locate your device if your rate plan hasn't renewed and the phone has no wifi connection where it is lost at then you are beat and can only find its last known location. I know the last known location and it isnt what google says (yes obviously i know im out of minutes and the phone has no data connection) and thats why im suggesting a way of locating a lost or stolen device that has no connectivity.

This is a lifesaver- I pretty regularly lose at least 1 of my phones and either of the Google sites/app are super easy to use, have never failed me. I think one of the coolest abilities it has is to make it ring even if you have it totally silenced or on vibrate, because you can't always count on finding it by it lighting up, especially when it isn't dark outside. And of course just because when you have it on silent calling it repeatedly does nothing - A genius & extremely helpful bonus.

The one super important time I needed to use it it didn't really help since it appears that I lost the device about a quarter of a mile away (it came out of my pocket while motorcycling about 1/4 mile down the road after I had done a turn and had been destroyed by traffic) and didn't spot it until a week later even though I had searched the reported area and for a couple hundred yards further on. It seems that the check in time needs to be improved, especially when the device is moving fast!!!!

This is the easiest app to use for a lost device! I can remotely lock my device & put a message on the screen saying how to get in touch with me or I can remotely erase everything off the device, which is an awesome tool to me! As long as the device is on w/ mobile data or wifi than it shows you the last location, the date,time,etc of where your device was at last. And u can also have it make a noise in case it's right in your area & once you find it super easy to unlock & get back into your de!

This app is very convenient, but I wish it had more features like being able to remotely turn your device on if it was turned off after being stolen. If someone takes your phone and turns it off, you'll only be able to see the last location of it before it was turned off. After that, the only thing u can do is send messages to or wipe it clean. Once u wipe it clean, this app will be useless for that phone. Puts u in a messed up predicament once it's stolen and turned off

I used this app to find out where my fiance was going because I had suspicions that he was cheating. It was very accurate, no time delays, and I love that I can click on the link to Google Maps or Google Earth for more detailed information. I tried using the Google Maps Timeline feature, but its very confusing, no explanations that I understand, and it overlapped my timeline with his timeline. I highly recommend this app over all other tracking apps!

When I install the app on one phone, I also want to add other phones and tablets in my household. This app does not enable that function to add more devices unless they already exist in the recognized devices. I only saw one to add and I needed to add three more, so there should be a + button to add more devices. When I use my laptop, I should be able to see all of the devices and their locations.

It gave an approximate area but still helped save the day. Someone picked up my girlfriend's phone and she didn't notice it was gone for about 30 minutes. We were at an amusement park, so with the approximate location we knew it was around a certain ride. We asked the exployees at the entrance and exit, no one had seen it. I finally looked inside the garbage can half way through the entrance queue and there it was! Thanks to Find my device we were able to retrieve the phone.

People are using the web portion of this to track people down in about 5 minutes. My account is compromised that my location is visible to anyone that has my email account. I've changed password and it still isn't protecting me. Needs better protection than what's in place in order to keep it from going on. Your website shows the last location but the app doesn't show that info. I've gone as far as turning off the find my device button which isn't right. Web needs to be like app.

I lost my phone in the city of all places. Find my device was able to locate my phone and maintain it's moving location playing music so I could find it. Because of the music the person who pocketed my phone must have got nervous and decided to drop it and leave. When I found my phone it was right on the sidewalk with the music playing loud so I could find it. So thank you very much Google Find My Device. This is an amazing app.

Without fail this app has located, retrieved and locked at least 6 phones I have has over the years. Most recent i had left my phone at an apartment complex and this app allowed me to track my phone to a Walmart 5 miles from the complex. I sat in my car as i "play sound" and i watched someone attempt to remove my non removable battery in an attempt to stop the 5 minute ring tone. Spectacular! This should be on everyone's device administration phone list.

As soon as I downloaded it I went to log in with my Google info. And after that it showed me all my devices that were connected, I could choose which one I was looking for it also showed where it was , and i could send a sound signal, which it actually made a sound when I did it. The phone I was using it also showed I had it in hand,, I was surprised because most apps don't work. But thus one is legit. Try it and u will see. Very happy. Thanks

Great app. Best to install, test it to make sure all your devices are connected to it BEFORE you really need it. Great to find your misplaced phone in the couch or car via the computer too. I have my old phones that I use for YouTube cast devices connected to it also. They are excellent for finding my misplaced working phone in the house through this app.
