Pro tips:

I recently changed carriers and upgraded my pixel 6 to pixel 7. Since then the keyboard just doesn't swype as well as it used to! It used to capitalize the word after a period, but now it doesn't, it used to capitalize "I" but now it's hit or miss if you get "I" or "i". It is not as accurate with words. These things used to be settings issues I could fix, but now, I don't know where the settings are for it!

A very nice looking, well designed keyboard with everything available to the user thats both useful, and necessary. You can set up a host of different ways, and choose from hundreds of backgrounds that linger in the background as you type. 3 or 4 different key sizes and a functional no nonsense clipboard. I give 5 STARS ❤️🤩

Got a new phone. **Why the hell can't I export my pinned clipboard notes, dictionary, preferences?!** That's, like, THE POINT of using Google products. It makes NO sense. Still not quite as good as my peak experience with TouchPal but improving. Update 9/2023, new phone again, now punctuation is missing from the qwerty keyboard. Used to be able to long press to use them and now they're hidden in the period key! Not my fave

Continues to be excellent ! It can keep the QWERTY keyboard both for French (with all accents built in) and English so that I don't have to revert to the AVERTY keyboard. It can recognize when I change from French to English and vice versa (even in the same sentence!). Its dictionary has, already installed, a vast French and English syntax (groups of words & expressions), but also learns quickly from my own use of syntax. It is truly remarkable: keep it coming!

Nah, this keyboard freezes for a while when you are in YouTube. It does that consistently and very annoying and waste of time to wait it out most of the time within the app. Contacting the developers after doing some troubleshooting about it is useless when they never address the concerns. It's a bummer, cause I like it has emojis, gifs, and make the keyboard bigger. But I guess will have to search elsewhere...

I'm confused what is suddenly going on with spell check. I could always click red underlined words and it would give me options to correct it. Now the only option is to add the misspelled word to my dictionary, it is making texting frustrating and making me consider a different keyboard, as much as Gboard has always been my favorite. I checked the settings and everything is correct 🤷🏽‍♀️ it just started within the last week or two

The keyboard is nice, but it does not hold a candle to Swype. The efficiency of Swype is what I'm missing. Fast strokes for exclamation points and question marks is the main thing I'm missing. But also not having a single letter i not auto capitalize is killing me. The amount of times I have to backspace to correct it myself is killing the grammar perfectionist in me. Swype was the superior keyboard and finding a second best has been difficult.

I really like all the language choices and settings options that G-Board offers. I use several different keyboards in a single day, depending on what I am doing. I use speech to text, swipe, and handwriting every day and this keyboard is so user friendly that I can switch formats at a single key swipe! I tried a lot of different keyboards, but I have settled on this one because in 11 years of using smart phones, this is by far the easiest and highest quality keyboard I have ever used. Bravo!!

Much better than the last time I used it. Still has several big annoyances. Half the time I can't swipe a word starting with M, probably because it's next to the backspace and I don't have baby fingers. Still a backslash for geeks, no slash for humans on the alternates. Can't swipe email address because it adds a space after a period automatically. Still no intelligence when I backspace out a word and try again. Often get the same word. Keeps changing words I corrected multiple times.

Do not like this app at all, and I don't recall downloading it. I Never consented to be part of a BETA app. BETA apps are less secure. I didn't use this app. I'm fine with using the key pad on my phone. Now I can't uninstall. The texts are not in real time texts. And I have no desire to switch in-between 30 different languages. English is all I know. This app seems to take over my device at times and dictates wrong information

I love that the number row is on the board at the same time as the letters. It was annoying having to switch back and forth when I needed to access numbers. Also the themes have new features with many new color choices and layouts. Customizing G Board has never been so much fun!!! Google, keep up the good work!!!! 🇺🇲

So convenient and easy to use .gifs are easy to find .Mojo's too .for practically everything .I highly recommend it to all. The talk-to-text needs to evolve more so into a better accuracy. I'm sure that it will as the technology evolves in working out these bugs over time. Thank you gboard app people.

It used to be good, but lately, it just types horribly. If (auto changed swiped to does) adds extra spaces every time I swipe the hiring (I typed bottom) row. Not to mention, the clearing it instructions show I have nothing saved to the doctor's (dictionary), so no way to reset it. If I type and not swipe, it won't pick up any letter that's near the function keys (space/caps/backspace). And I get crazy things like this: ft it c the ER very be isr! ( fix the keyboard!)

I am becoming slightly disappointed in this app. First, keyboard would get stuck on screen, n had to turn phone off. It would misspell my words constantly, causing issues. It would rearrange my perfectly good sentences, and at times, make it embarrassing for me. I would proofread, it looked great, hit send n just as I'm doing this, change my words n sentences! Now I have totally lost my talk to text feature, which I use mostly. It's been an inconvenience for me.

Used to be so amazing, but has gotten kind of horrible over time. The glide typing is so horrible now. It's extremely hard to type a sentence correctly in one go. Keyboard doesn't actually pay enough attention to the path taken unless you move at a speed that is similar to normal single-letter typing. Pointless. Just adding to my review. Still absolutely terrible. Today, it produced "ween" instead of when, even though I can't recall ever using that word. Just terrible.

Works very well. Easy to use. Here's usually don't have much trouble with the auto correction, but it has its moment. I use voice typing fairly often from where I work a lot and don't have much time to sit and type out long messages. Strawberry 🙂 some problem with my phone's microphone that causes misinterpretation of some of the things I say. Overall fairly good so far. Haven't found anything worth changing to.

The talk-to-text feature has always been frustrating but now it's even worse than before. It will take a whole sentence that has dictated and at the end when it's done just erase it on its own. So in a paragraph I had dictated it won't make sense because part of it missing. And randomly stops listening. I want to find a new dictation app

I used to love Gboard, it was intuitive back in the day, and was the most advanced. Now, it's like whoever is in charge of updates is asleep at the wheel, or just out of touch. Instead of autocorrect, they turned it into "overcorrect", what I write tends to be 100% what I wish to send, yet it gets changed to something entirely different. Y'all need to get it together, fast, or I'm gonna start shoppin' around for a new keyboard to use. Seriously. Get. It. Together. People.
