New update glitches badly. The app locked the account out and wanted a different credit card even though it got us to a museum but then left us stranded there. Had to download Uber instead to get home from the museum. They have no support and text support did not help fix the situation at all as we waited around the museum lobby.

I usually have a good experience but after the nightmare of trying to find an actual person to speak to just for them to get smart with me after having me wait forever and then give themselves a $5 credit (bc let's be honest, if your "refund" is a company credit, you didn't actually incur any loss at all), I'm exhausted. They need to fix their customer service because it sucks.

I like the app, majority of the drivers have been great, and drive well. But my issue is the tipping, I would love to tip my drivers more but there's a tip percentage cap. There shouldn't be a cap. If I want to tip my driver more money I should be able too. That's why I'm rating the app 3 stars. Unless you change this I'll give the app 5 stars.

DO NOT download this application. I just got robbed by this app. Every time I wanted to order a ride, it asked me to add another payment method. I added my PayPal details, bank account details, debit card, and international debit card details. The app stopped working, and when I contacted them, they told me my account couldn't be reopened. No reasons, no refunds. If this is not stealing, then what is it? I had 120$ in my account as LyftCash, and my money is all gone! Avoid getting scamed!

This app is BS. The prices increase randomly. You can look up a price, look it up again 2 minutes later, and it's 30% more. Every. Single. Time. It just changed from 12.74 to 19.70 before I could click the confirm button. It turned out for the best as Uber was $11.99.

I had to delete my Lyft account today. This company, app, and it's customer service practices have proven to no longer be worth the headache. Today was my second experience of having a ride including two different stops, be ended prematurely by a driver. Not only was I stranded, but there was also no full refund. There is no reason why riders should not be prompted with an option to confirm that the trip was indeed ended at the correct destination or be connected to another driver immediately.

It works well until you have an issue that's not safety related. Got charged $120 and spent 1.5 hours in the back of a Lyft because the Lyft kept getting lost And told me that if I change the destination back to pickup it would get refunded. Never did and when I finally get a hold of support it's like they don't even read what issue you wrote and close out the cases with a generic explanation. And it's way harder than it should be to contact support with finding loops. Never got real support.

Tourist be aware of international credit card! Was having problem syncing my Google pay or watever. So Lyft cash was the only way however when the amount fall under $15 the system will auto top-up to the last amount selected!!!!! You will have to manually off the selection. Now I'm stuck with $100 inside and it cannot be used in Canada!!!!! When u are in a rush will u really read all the fine print in the T&C??????

Always shares in correct times. I really hate that this app never has accurate times. It'll tell you that the driver is going to arrive in 2 minutes but it takes over a minute to find somebody and then it's always twice as long as what they tell you. And they'll show you all these cars that are right next to you. But the driver they pick is miles away.

Lyft offers terrible customer support. It is exclusively automated now. No phone number. Not even an email contact. Which means you can only submit feedback for their limited options. I wanted to give feedback for a bad experience and I literally had to come to the app store to leave a bad review because I have no way to contact them for my issue.

Overall honestly I am completely satisfied with this app and with the drivers and my rides, the only thing I dislike so that I can't type in an amount for the tip, I have to select one of three pre chosen percentages. I like to round off my final amounts and couldn't because it wouldn't let me adjust the top amount manually. Other than that; excellent. Update (aug26) - > I just used this app for the first time in a while, and there's the option to input custom tip plus an auto updating total! 👌

App works OK, but there's absolutely no support and I have been needing to contact someone on a few drivers not showing up, staying in 1 spot for 30 mins, then canceling the ride when they see you aren't about to cancel. It sucks because it's happened to me more than 3 times now and they need to stop getting away with it. Can't even find an email to send suggestions to.

I depend on this app to get to work but often the wait times are insane, prices too. Today I had an issue where I was not able to select a ride but somehow says I have a driver coming when I can't see the driver on the map or when they arrive. Manually had to uninstall and reinstall the app just to see the driver. No customer support is crazy for a service like this.

They had me wait until they found a driver for 10 minutes and then said they couldn't find someone. So, the price is $25 more than when I requested it! Otherwise, they are usually cheaper than Uber by a few dollars and there are better rewards options. But, Lyft doesn't show you driver details right away. It count downs how many minutes until it shows you. Much easier on Uber because you get the information more quickly.

Listen, I love the convenience of the app, but there is a SAFETY ISSUE. The app sent my driver to the wrong location even though I entered the correct location. This is the 2nd time in 2 months. There is no way to get help. I have tried the driver, the app AND your website. Do you know how it feels to be dropped off during a rain storm to the WRONG location? I didn't get what I paid for. To get home I had to pay another fare. Please FIX THIS ISSUE, ITS SCARY.

App is good but it would help to be able to specify the number of people to be picked up. My request was accepted by a driver. We had 4 people but she had some stuff in the front seat and couldn't easily accept more than 3 riders. I was able to cancel the ride and get a full refund but it would be nice to let drivers know before they accept the ride how many of us there are and how many suitcases. Ended up using XL at greater expense; this is not an ideal solution.

The customer service is completely horrible. Have had a pending transaction for 30 days and instead of solving the issue or offer a complete refund they end the chat (which is the only way to get in touch with them). I have asked for a complete refund and the chat ends. Have to repeat and provide multiple screenshots to show them that they are in the wrong with no resolution. All the agents want to do is argue with you and not read information provided!

Worst pathfinding ever. I use the service to go to work while my car is being repaired. The shortest and fastest way from my house to my job is essentially a straight line. Why is it that that the app can never find that straight line? Why does the app decide on a different path every time? Why would the app choose a path that is more that twice the length of the shortest route (according to Google maps)? Why does the app send a different path to the rider and the driver?
