Description of Petal Maps – GPS & Navigation

Petal Maps is a unique map that lets you explore the world around you in new ways. Available in over 160 countries and regions, it provides real-time traffic conditions, lane-level guidance, nearby services, various map layers, traffic events, place favorites, and loads more.

Real-time traffic data for faster and safer travel
· Recommends the quickest, shortest, and least congested route based on a combination of real-time traffic conditions and your personal preferences. You can even add multiple stops to your routes.
· Explore your route options and familiarize yourself with the way in advance.
· Provides accurate lane-level guidance for more precise navigation, helping you find your way through a wide variety of complex scenarios with ease.
· Allows you to report police locations, road closures, accidents, and more. You'll be able to see things reported by other users too.
· Supports navigating via HUAWEI WATCH 3, GT2, and GT3 series watches, with multiple modes of travel available – including walking, cycling, and public transportation.
· Lets you download offline maps so you can keep navigating even without an Internet connection.

· Discover great local businesses through recommendations. You can even use voice search to find places to eat, drink, and hang out.
· Conveniently search for gas stations, parking lots, and loads more – allowing you to travel worry-free.
· Organize your favorite places by dividing them into separate lists with their own icons.
· Keep your devices in sync with each other by syncing your data to the cloud with HUAWEI Mobile Cloud or Dropbox.

Very annoying. Just been told to expect heavy rain on this very sunny day. I get constant alerts which are mostly rubbish. Now I remember why I unistalled this damn thing. Get rid of the alerts and get more stars.

This app I have used works great hope will stand for free. I have tested and in some ways is batter than Google Maps but is not 100% better because the camera speed is not updated in the time some time 😂. The rest is perfect app.

This app its easy to use, but something road closed not been updated, and before this im use at traffic lights and any cross line they will show (lane guidance 3D) and now they are missing, please bring back this feature, thanks

Navigation speed is slower then google map.It is slow by 3 to 4 secs.After i turn,the Navigation still waiting to turn.cant catch-up with my speed. I prefer map to be ahead of driver and not the other way round.Need improvement on navigation speed

So Terribly bad, even with alleged TomTom maps. Bad navigation engine, voice instructions to much chinese style. One example of wasting time trying to reinvent the wheel.

Petal Maps is the best Navigation app for phone and cars. However, I cannot use it on Android Auto in my car. I like the Petal so much that I'm even considering replacing the Navigation system that came with my new car.

Was trying out this map in comparison to google map. PLUS points: 1 Able to turn off favourites marking layer, giving a clean and visible map routes. 2 Able to add to favourites & change colour & icon shape. 3 Size of icons just right. MINUS points: 1 Does not remember last viewed map/area. 2 Unable to edit favourites name or label. 3 Limited icons shape in favourites. 4 Limited only to 100 favourites per labels, Google has more. 5 Map colour is not contrast enough,too pale.

This worked very well sometimes, but far too often struggled with identifying my location, which it frequently insisted was somewhere in the middle east whenever I tried to launch the navigation (whereas I was in the EU). As such could not be reliably used.

Seems to be awesome and even faster than Google maps BUT what's the point if you have only offline driving? I need the walking alternative or I'll return to here we go maps I'll send the feedback here: even with global data downloaded the only offline option working is the drive option no bikes ,no walking, and no bus alternative works. I don't want to rely on internet to know where I am when I travel so I need all offline options working

I use it in combination with my watch, otherwise I'd skip it, as it's not performing great. But a very weird thing is that there are no maps of Japan to download offline.

I have just tried 5 navigation apps, including the famous ones. Petal maps is the best among all. It's comprehensive, functional and visually appealing. I wish it worked on Android Auto.

One of the best maps I have ever used in UK.I like all the features, especially the voice guidance which we can customize.But, it lacks the "speed limits " of most of the roads, which are missing on the main display while entering.Please sort out this issue for 'UK maps'.

Petal maps is the best navitigation app it gives the overall route really quite outstanding and the many features in this app is really usefull. I gave an 2 stars is because there's problem on offline maps because when I download the region or country and go traveling with the offline navitigation it's really slow when its obtaining an location and I'm having an problem to this. can you fix this problem so it can obtain location really fast than other navitigation maps Thanks!!!

One thing I would like to add is to be able to change the place name when saving an address or a marked place to favorites. Currently, marked location seems to be like this [ place name is marked place]. I can leave it as a note, but it would be better if I can change place name of the saved address. And the road was blocked due to construction during the driving, so I entered another road, but it kept telling me to make a U-turn and go that way.

Offline map downloads give a server error. Tried everything from reinstalling the app, to using data or wifi. Works fine when online but as soon as you go to Offline Maps, an error appears and the app can't connect to their servers to download

Maps not cluttered (unlike Google maps). As a non-car user, I like the public transport info, including the alert when bus destination is nearby. Maps rather blank in rural areas but I hope this will improve.

Eventually found the best navigation. I enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommended but only the speeed limit should be chose by myself like 30, 40, 50, 60. Would be great if speed limit shows itself on it.Overall I would say great apps ever Thank you.
