Description of Yandex Go — taxi and delivery

Yandex Go is a service for urban life. Use the app to request rides or deliver items.

DELIVERY
It's just like requesting a ride: enter your address in the app, and a courier delivers your item. Both sender and recipient meet the courier at their car."

AFFORDABLE RATES

Choose a service class for any occasion. Ride Economy for everyday errands, treat yourself to Comfort and Comfort+ to relax in a more spacious car, or go with Business when every detail counts. Use Delivery to ship items of any size by car. Fares and available service classes vary by location, but we always show the exact price (or a fair estimate) before you request a ride.

PAY BY CARD OR CASH

You can pay for rides automatically if you add your card in the app, but drivers also accept cash. Payment method availability may vary depending on location.

A SMART APP THAT SAVES YOU TIME

Yandex Go uses smart algorithms built on live traffic data to connect riders with drivers who can reach them fastest. Depending on your location, the app will also suggest alternative pickup points to help lower your fare.

RIDES WITH MULTIPLE STOPS

Request a ride with multiple destinations, like if you’re dropping your kids off at school, picking up a friend on the way, or need to run a quick errand. Yandex Go maps all your stops on one route and calculates the fare for the entire trip upfront.

CHILD SAFETY SEATS

Choose the Kids service class to ride safely with your child in a safety or booster seat.
Currently available in the capitals of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan, as well as 169 cities across Russia.

FOOD FROM RESTAURANTS

Order food from local cafes and restaurants. Just enter your address and we’ll show you everything that’s available nearby. Narrow down your search with filters and find your favorites or try something new. Currently available in Russia and Kazakhstan.

FAMILY ACCOUNT

You can open a family account in Yandex Go. Family accounts are a great way to take care of your whole family and pay for their taxi rides. A single family account can have 4 members all using the same bank card. The family account can also be used to pay for orders in lots of different Yandex services, not just Taxi. Family members can share their location during rides, and the account owner can set limits and view the order history.

GPS sometimes inaccurate, so drivers park far away from the pickup point and then waiting fees are charged. That needs to be corrected.

Giving 5 stars, but have to say it doesn't predict the time in which the car will arrive correctly, like, it says "will arrive in 5 minutes" but you wait whole 10 minutes because of the traffic jam. I understand that it must be a little harder to predict the time considering all that and the app works really well compared to the other ones, so it gets 5 stars, but it would be really nice, if it could predict the time more correctly.

Big difference in quality of drivers. Some were very bad, aggressive and with some you feared for your life, almost hit by a tram etc. What is quite bad is their navigation system. Very often the app would sense that you are 500m away and send the driver there and you are kept waiting. Just looking at the app during the drive you would see that the app thinks you are somewhere completely different. This happens too often.

The app was showing the right location but on the map it took me to completely the wrong place. Even the driver didn't understand how this could be. So it ended up taking twice as much time and twice as much money, which made calling the taxi pointless since I could've gotten there myself in the same time. I asked for a refund and only got the extra charge back, when I explained that this ended up being a complete waste of money for me because of the app malfunction I was just ignored. Uninstall.

The most expensive taxi in the country. They rip up money both from driver and passengers. Very bad that we allow them to work in our country. Inaccurate time calculation!

A lot of glitches. App can't find my current location when geo location is on, tried several times, but it shows my house's location. Even I updated last version and no luck

The trick is to order and pay by cash. Driver will accept your request, but then they may refuse to give the ride and demand you to cancel the ride, and you will be the one who has to pay the cancellation fee. such a terrible system. it doesn't protect the clients.

I'm using this app for a long time. Mostly because of the ability of payment by card. The issues with drivers and cars sometimes happen and I'm aware that it's not fully in Yandex hands, so as long as the ride feedback is properly processed - I don't have a lot of issues with it. However for the last couple of times I has cases of being overcharged. And that was related to how the app processed the ride. And I had to dispute those rides and the staff wasn't very fast at admitting the problem. Instead they tried to convince me that everything was charged properly. So until these issues are resolved - 2 stars.

I am fed up with the drivers constant whine. They constantly complain when they accept the trips which are payable by bank card. The reason is that the fee is transferred to some Idram account and then remnants of that amount is transferred to their account. Sometimes it takes even days. Conversely, GG's system is more convenient for both parties. They bind their drivers' bank cards to the system and when one pays with the card the fee is transferred to their bank cards immediately.

Amazing service, nothing wrong with the app.some users are just haters and unethical users. I'm happy with all your support . Especially perfect the price that can be cash or card,you don't have to worry getting overcharged like you get when getting into regular taxi with drivers than chain smokers and also if you speak language other than Armenian. Overall, thank you, Yandex taxi. A+++

Reliable service. Always a decent trip, no big problem. Sometimes connection is an issue, but this is an app-based glitch which relies on connection. Sometimes it cannot geolocate properly, and this leads to a lot of frustration on some occasions. When I'm driving another car or walking the streets however, I don't necessarily care for the behavior of some drivers. I've almost been hit in the crosswalk a few times by unruly, careless drivers. It's not a good look. -2 stars for that alone.

the app works okay the drivers are fine. but I want to bring the developers attention to the "my addresses" section because every time I put my "work" address there I close the app and it changes to a completely different one and it's very annoying because I'm just comfortably choosing my address by tapping the already saved one only to find out later that the driver is taking me to another address, this has happened 3 times already, and Every time it keeps changing to the exact same address that I've never even used before. it's very frustrating so it'd be great if you guys could fix that or tell what I'm doing wrong. thank you.

Left my phone in the taxi and only realised after I'd been dropped off. Driver claimed he didn't have it even though it was charging with his cable in the front of the car. Contacted the app and they gave me the drivers number - driver said he didn't have it. When I said I would pay to have it back he later replied he could help return it if I paid well. Reported him to Yandex to which they replied "the driver said he doesn't have the phone" despite sending them the screenshot of the blackmail.
