Description of Naver SmartBoard - Keyboard

The more you use, the easier it gets. Search and translation are available on the keyboard.
You also can use stickers or your own drawings.
Take a look at NAVER SmartBoard, a keyboard app that just fits you.

1. It gests smarter as you use it.
You can use suggestions from SmartBoard such as words, corrections, or emojis.
Custom texts help you enter long sentences each with a single tap while Quick Keys let your favorite shortened phrases stay in a single key.
You can not only change Korean syllables to Chinese characters but also type with your voice.

2. Search while you keep texting
You don't have to switch to a search app during a conversation.
Finding information of restaurants, movies, weather, and shopping has never been easier.
Stay where you are and get things done!

3. Real-time translation as you type in.
Don't be afraid of texting or emailing with foreigners any more.
Just type in Korean and SmartBoard does the rest translating into English, Chinese (Simplified), or Japanese using N2MT technology.
Using voice recognition while translating is even useful.

4. A single image wins the speech.
Sometimes it's a lot better to show a picture than to describe in words.
Send stickers, gifs, and your own drawings either on a empty canvas or pictures in gallery!

5. Customize your keyboard
Accustomed to a certain Korean layout? SmarBoard supports major Korean layouts such as "2-set Korean", "Danmoum", "Cheonjiin", "Naratgul", and "Vega".
You also can set any images for the keyboard background.

- Location: SmartBoard can show the weather around you and local search results.
- Microphone: What you say is transformed to texts using voice recognition.

its a realy good app .just have to set things up first and your set but i do recommend to re check if the transtation is correct ,but i havent encountered any miatakes in translation and i dont experience any ads while using the keyboard . overall very good app.💜 very satisfied.

love using it. It's so convenient. I am a half korean who lived in a foreign country for years and didnt get to formally study in korea or even live there for a long time, but with the news updates, weather updates, and even translation from eng to korean/japanese and vice versa, it felt like i'm living there tooㅡlearning things and getting updates with latest talks. hoping that you'll update this app with more great features! ٩(◕ᗜ◕)و

I do like to give a suggestion to add more language like chinese, spanish etc. I am a multilingual myself, i find it hard to find a korean keyboard as good as this one on google play app store. So I do love if you can offer other different languages other than english, korean, and japanese so it can be more convenient for me. Thank you.

i like it but the papago translater has the option to turn honorifics on/off, it would be nice to have that in the translater! i would also like autocorrection for the english keyboard (im struggling to type even this efficiently without autocorrect). please also have more layouts for the english keyboard, im really used to having the key for ( , / comma) in the bottom left corner, i would really like to have that on this too

There are things that is not working. For example when you long click a number there should be a smaller number but there isn't. There is also no long hyphen, and the word suggestions is so poor. The new emojis aren't here as well. Please take it to consideration as this app is the most neat I came accross, I like how it almost resembles samsung's keyboard.

For some reason the keyboard deletes letters by itself when I type in English, sometimes several times even when I go back to correct it. It's not autocorrect but legit just deleting letters randomly and it's annoying. It's like a bug and reinstalling doesn't help.

Would've been perfect if autocorrect worked on for English input as well; making typos and spending time correcting them is really getting to me. It is also a pity that Chinese isn't included despite the keyboard's ability to translate the language.

I love your design and layout options! Especially Vega and 12 key! Also the accents in English! Great job! The button to switch between keyboards doesn't stay in the same place ☹️ Can you please make a lite version too, with no stickers, weather, drawing, news etc. 🙏 And also change the hand colour to yellow✌️

Hello, this is a very nice app. I've been using it since 2020 and i am quite content with it, but after the new update (Version 1.4.0) i've been getting issue. I changed my theme (used a photo from my gallery) and design it exactly like how i used to use it (i removed special character and add period keys) but after the new update, no matter how many times i redo the same action/redo the whole process, the special characters kept on showing and the period keys did not appear. Please check this🙏

It's my first time using it and I love it already I like the sounds it makes when your typing it's so satisfying I can listen to it everyday. I also like how the keyboard interface looks for me it's very stunning and modern it's very cool too. Note: I am open to change my mind should I no longer be satified with the app and please add GIFs in the future I really want it

theres no ads, theres a bunch of kaomojis (you can add custom ones too), the designs are really cute, and you can add multiple languages. the only downside is that you cant delete the korean keyboard if you dont want it there and the layout takes a bit to get used to but other than that its perfect

I really like it but (1) I believe there's no swipe option and (2) the English autocorrect isn't great. It doesn't give options with apostrophies and tends to stop giving suggestions before I have even finished writing the word. (3) also it doesn't have my own language (Dutch)

Okay so..this app is PERFECTION! No adds to unlock something. A lot of kaomojis and you can even MAKE YOUR OWN! You can personalize your keyboard with themes or with pics in your gallery. You can open Instagram,Youtube,Twitter and other apps from the keyboard! The only thing that I would suggest is to add more languages because since I'm not a Native English but Italian I had found a bit of difficulty using it, like PLEASE add other languages! But except that, this keyboard is just perfect!ᴖ - ᴖ

1) It would've been if there was an auto capitalization option for"I"cuz if you want to type"I"in between then you have to click on the upper arrow to make it look like this"I"otherwise it will look like this "i".2) After choosing a word from the keyboard there's no auto space so I have to click it everytime I use it. I think Google keyboard is more confortable for me:(3)There aren't many languages available yet. 4)There aren't any shortcuts available like"Aren't, don't, can't etc.App is great♡♡

It is an amazing keyboard. I've been using it for more than a year now, but since two days ago it wont work. It always says "the app stopped running" and it would force stop itself. please fix this I really like the keyboard and I find it difficult and uncomfortable to use another one, I want to continue using Naver smartboard.

The korean keyboard is amazing with absolutely nothing tocomplain about but the english keyboard doesn't predict correct grammar (predicts doesnt instead of doesn't and similarly, I'm, don't). It also doesn't offer swipe to type. Full stop and comma isn't easy to access either.. And for those reasons, it's a three star

Been using for a year now and it's super great! I occasionally switches to Korean keyboard and Japanese keyboard, and using Gboard is a hassle because I need to download additional keyboard. I read the termination notice recently, and I'm glad i still can use it even after the termination. Thank you so much for the great service!

Everything about it's features are really great and helpful but there's an inconvenience on the clipboard feature. It can only keep a limited amount of copied words and if you keep copying words the words that you copied previously gets erased and you can't recover it anymore so that's my only concern other than the emojis.
