Mediocre at best. Constantly get error messages when playing on data. Same thing even if I download it beforehand, it seems to still use data instead of playing from downloads. Constantly restarting the app, force stopping, even uninstalled and reinstalled. Doesn't work well with my Samsung phone or Android TV. Don't have these issues on the IPad, Vizio TV, or Roku device.

The CBS app wasn't great, and I'd hoped Paramount + would be an improvement. Maybe it just doesn't work well with Amazon Fire? It gets stuck on an ad every single break - fast forwarding gets it unstuck. This, of course, means losing content - sometimes a significant chunk. Sometimes, it just starts over at the problem ad, and I gotta go through this several times. This is only one of the problems. If it weren't for the fact that all my favorite shows are here, I'd delete it.

Still has ads when I pay for ad free. Glitches/buffers often and sound and picture will be misaligned. I dislike when I open a show, it starts at season 1, episode 1. Annoying when you watch shows like Survivor that have 45 seasons and then you have to wait for all 45 seasons to load before you can scroll to the current episode (peek and take a page out of Netflix's user interface please! So much more user-friendly and smooth). TV app suffers same problems. Only streaming service w/ issues!

I have this on my Xbox and the rewind/pause feature is terrible. If I rewind it 5 minuets the app is likely to just start the show over. If I pause it when I come back to press pay it might restart or jump to the next episode. And if I try to go back I have to sit through all the adds again. Only gave it 2 stars because it has some great shows. They really need to figure it out.

The streaming experience in this app is inconsistent. Sometimes, it works fine, but too many times, it gets stuck in a loop between two commercial segments. It will stream part of the show, then jump back to a previous commercial already played and start the show again from that section. Repeats a couple of times before moving forward. Other times, the app will jump to a previous commercial segment already played when pressing the 10 sec reverse or forward button in the middle of a segment.

2 stars because it has some good things to watch. The streaming is very buggy even with perfect Internet connection. The app on my phone constantly crashes and streaming on my computer, Playstation, TV, you name it, ir freezes making me close the program and opening it again. I only use it because it's included with my phone company. It is very annoying to use with all the issues. Hopefully, they will fix all the bugs soon.

I love what they offer. But it's more miss than hit when it comes to the streaming. Doesn't matter if it's on my phone, console, or tv. Won't load commercials or freezes. Then you have to back out and try again, only for it to do it again. I've checked my internet and ruled that out, and it's the only streaming service we have that seems to do this. Love the selection had the lagg/freezing

Very nice app. I downloaded it because I have it on my TV and wanted to watch on the go. I also enjoy the amazing graphics. Nice app. UPDATE: I bumped off 2 stars for the constant buffering. "Optimizing Video Playback" (🙄) is just an excuse for it to either load for 2 minutes or to completely kick you out of the video. And for some reason this buffering problem only happens on my phone, not my TV. Weird and needs to be fixed immediately.

App works, but takes WAY too long to start. Took over 3min to get past the company logo to the login page. 3 stars because of how slow it is to load, and ability to contact support/help (never could figure that out). Not willing to pay for a subscription until I can see a reliable, consistent, working app. Like a lot of the content on this platform, but I can do with out it if it's going to be a hassle using it. Will update rating again if app improves.

The timeline navigation is broken. Thumbnails don't update appropriately. Sometimes it starts jumping to the previous commercial break no matter where you try to navigate to. Unfortunately you need to suffer through the buggy software to enjoy the great programming. There is nothing to "troubleshoot". The software is just buggy.

The No Ads tier still gives you a 30 second ad before your show. The app itself has trouble keeping track of the shows I'm currently watching, doesn't reliably give me quick controls in the notifications, and thinks the search bar is a password field for some reason. Nothing about the app works nearly as well as it does in literally any other streaming app out there. They half assed this code at every turn.

*Edited* Now that the error has been resolved, I'm back to watching all of my fave shows! I love Paramount Plus! My family streams on our phones, Roku, T-Vision, a Smart TV, and Chromebooks. The app works perfectly across all platforms. The only downside I suppose is when watching on my phone, if a text, call, or any other notification comes through it will freeze the app every time & force me to close it. But otherwise, it's great!

Everything's in one place. Update: after the last couple of updates I've noticed a decrease in playback capabilities. There is a lot of "adjusting playback quality" going on. The playback will pause and resume several times before continuing for another few minutes then repeat this process.

The app does not allow me download movies that were previously downloaded. For example, I was watching a movie I downloaded that I didn't finish on the plans, then the movie was no longer in my downloads& when I hit the downloaded button it didn't work. An exclamation point with a red circle shows up when l click the download button. When I hit retry it does the same thing. Is there anyway to fix this issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy.

Moves slow on my TV. It will also randomly close out and go to my home screen while I'm in the middle of a show or movie. It also gets frozen when showing commercials. Then after waiting for it to unfreeze it goes back to the movie/ show selection instead of continuing to play my show. I'm definitely canceling after my free trial is up...

Download a show for a flight, and the app won't open on the plane. Says it needs an internet connection to open the app, so I couldn't watch the downloaded shows while I didn't have an Internet connection. Nope. I looked at the developers comments, now at home all I have to do is turn off my Internet connection and upon opening Paramount+ I consistently get the message that the the app requires Internet access and won't even let you view your downloaded content.

It works great on my android phone, but can't get it to work on my Fire TV. All my other streaming services works great on it, but Paramount + will either not work at all or I have to keep exiting the app multiple times before it will work. I don't even bother anymore. I just watch on phone even at home. If it wasn't the fact that it has some shows I definitely don't want to miss, I would unsubscribe in a heartbeat.

Poorest streaming service app I have used. Phone calls will freeze a movie or tv show. You must exit and open the show again. It does not save where you left off, so you have to search for it AND watch ads again. Eventually, it's not even worth it. Doesn't work well on samsung tvs, either. Most of the time, it does work at all. Even free streaming apps work better than this. This is supposed to be a premium streaming service.
