Looks pretty, but the more I use the app, the more I hate it! The UI is INFURIATING. "My Stuff", the shows I've indicated I want to watch, is the hardest section to access! The last item on an overflow menu! It's made so much worse by the fact it ALWAYS starts on the main screen--never the last viewed. Even if it's only been 1 minute, & even if the video is still actively playing in PiP! Plus more. The scrolling is jerky (by design!) Expected playback controls missing. CC turns itself on. Etc.

Trying to watch the tour de france is so frustrating and the reason i signed up. You can't add the whole event to your favorites. You have to do each stage. Even though you've added the events, it doesn't save the recording so if it starts at 6 and you start watching at 9, you can't go to the beginning of the event. Even worse, if you take a break to go back and finish watching later... You can't until the put the replay feed up much much later. If you can't watch live it's useless.

The tech and design are horrible. You have to start watching an episode just to get to the menu options for that show, stupid. Even if you pay for the version without adds, it will still freeze when there is supposed to be an add break. Many episodes freeze in the middle and then guess what, because you can't get the episode to load, you can't get to the menu options to maybe just skip that ep and move onto the next one. You have to constantly uninstall the app just to get it working again.

Not too many ads, 1 minute each or less. Nice selection of shows. BUT it does not keep track of your progress in a series. Whenever I open the app to continue the show I'm watching, it seems to randomly select an episode to "continue watching" from. Every. Single. Time. So you end up watching more ads just trying to find your place in the episode you were already on. Desperately needs a fix. So frustrating.

I love the shows on the peacock app. It's never been the most solid tv app experience (especially considering if you upgrade to a plan with no ads instead of charging you one higher price for the premium subscription, they charge two smaller charges which is just a weird system). But I've never had massive problems until this past week. Now I cannot get through more than 5-10 minutes of any show without peacock stopping playback and telling me an error has occured. I'm over it.

Its a decent app. Only had a few issues with it freezing up. I too have had programming out of sync. Pausing can fix it, but usually just have to rewind briefly. I'm curious and annoyed by the lack of autoplay on episodes. Really makes the experience a bother. Edit: app still isn't great, but what annoys me to no end. Subtitles are on automatically for everything, I have to manually shut them off each time. I hate this.

Local news won't be local if you have Starlink for an Internet provider. Should be Portland, OR and it comes up Seattle, WA. With no option available to manually change this, I tried to contact help through "Help". What a joke. Unless you happen to need one of the few, specific help options to choose from. Also having trouble restarting my subscription after I cancelled it out of frustration. Takes me to the play store and there's no option to restart, no valid options whatsoever.

I've tried it so many times thinking maybe they'd fix all the issues... but nope. Zero subtitles when streaming on smart TV. You have to cast from your phone to have them. Movies that have other languages in them for certain parts (take John wick for example) - no translation/subtitles available. You miss the entire premise for the show! I can't, worthless, completly and totally

Was billed for a subscription I don't use. I do not even have the app downloaded. I checked to see what shows, movies, etc. were available before I canceled/complained and I saw little of interest. Especially, when I already subscribe to 4 other streaming platforms. I have asked for a refund since I haven't used the service and was unaware I would be billed. Still have not heard back after asking for refund and posting my review. Apparently customer support is lacking as well.

Oh cool, you pay to be forced to watch insufferable ads every five minutes for garbage you don't want... And it freezes my Chromecast occasionally, forcing me to reboot it. Otherwise it's a decent enough app, it works, but it's not worth spending money on. And not even a toggle option for auto play? C'mon. Businesses that serve you ads when you're already paying them for (poor) services should be criminalized. No thanks.

Once again I am trying to watch Summerslam, and the app keeps crashing every 10 minutes. Your tech boys need to fix this issue!!! Terrible. I missed a ton of Wrestlemania because the app kept crashing. I had to delete the app, and re-download it 3 times because it wouldn't come on at all. I will not be renewing my membership. I hope WWE goes to a different streaming service.

It's really difficult to find content in the app. It doesn't remember what you were watching, and you have to search around to get back to what you were watching. The stream buffers a lot, even with my fiber Internet connection. The Catch Up With Key Plays cuts out right before the key play / scoring happens.

Live events are awful, without fail will glitch at every important moment of your event. Dont bother thinking the replay will be any better, not only does it glitch still, but fast forward and rewind are all but useless AND you still have to sit through every single commercial, oh and if you do manage to get fast forward or rewind to work, automatic commercial regardless if you were at one or not. THE WORST!!!

I've never had an app that glitches as much as this one. Constantly out of sync with audio. While watching an episode will start buffering and then just exit. I have the highest speed of Internet and it doesn't matter for this app! I don't even care how the show I was binge watching ends anymore. It has a few decent movies and shows but you will not be able to watch a whole movie through nor a full episode without experiencing the glitches. Peacock just saving us money for other streaming apps

Update: Was working until August 21st, now the app won't even open and tells me to check my internet connection. *eyeroll* Subpar experience. The app crashes or hangs constantly on my android tv device. There should be no adds with a premium account. I'm on a 90 day free trial at the moment and if the glitches aren't fixed, if they don't offer a true add free option, I'll be canceling at the end of my trial. The content isn't that great and doesn't justify sticking with it, in my opinion.

Five Thumbs! DOWN. 👎👎👎👎👎 Bottom line, it's 3 years later and this is still a pay-only app. AND according to the few reviews at the top there are still a LOT of issues with quality. I saw the ad (in GP) for "The Contenental" and assumed it was a loss leader, so installed the app, but was dissapointed to find that I wasn't able to view it w/my old account. Even more so, you only have 2 plans to choose from. $6 a month, or $12 a month. As in 2020, I UNinstalled it, moments after INstalling it.

pros:lots of FREE variety and content in general. it's not like other apps where the free content is limited lame or only pre 2000's. great selection of shows and movies. they even have exclusive releases (still for free!) of new movies. the ads are all 90 seconds(that's shorter than "regular TV" for all you only streamers lol). cons: tho the ads are only 90 seconds, they dont have many so it's quite repetitive. half the time I try to save something to my list an error message pops up. pros>cons

I use this app primarily on my phone and it is terrible!! There is no pickup where you left off option you have to find it on your own and watch ads just to get there if you forgot where you were at on a certain show you're gonna be watching several ads looking for it. I will not be renewing a subscription if your planning watch something on a device you're better off with ANY other streaming service.
