The intelligent hvv route planner is your navigation system for Hamburg's public transport and shows you the relevant travel information for your route in real-time. This new app is not good as the previous version, which was not that great either... Features are missing and the interface is not intuitive. So far the "revolutionary new" hvv.

Edit: New updates have added all the relevant functionality back. Arrival times are more accurate now. This update is a disaster. Flashy interface, but less information. And even the arrival times are way off.

Worked fine for a while. Now it mostly tells me the password is wrong when it isn't. Or when I am logged in I get an error message when trying to order a ticket. Created and deleted accounts and the app multiple times spending too much time on it already. Giving up now, thx.

Garbage. Paid for the ticket - it showed me error message "uknown error", no active tickets in the list. Okay, I presumed it doesn't work, bought a ticket at the station... 3 minutes later I have the ticket in the app and money are withdrawn. The best part is that the "Contact" option in the menu just stopped the app

Very helpful app. Only issue i have with it and hvv in general is, i have a yearly AB abo, but i sometimes need to travel one or two zones/stations outside the AB area. Why is there not an option to let the app know i have an abo, and thus most of the way is paid for? I only need a ticket for the 1-2 stations outside my area. I'm left with either paying full price for a trip i already pay monthly, or figure out where my area ends and buy a ticket from there forward. Thanks for your work so far!

At first glance it looks confusing, you type in your location and destination and it gives you options, I thought they are different buses/trains that I should ride in to get where I wanted. But after the first ride I realized every ride is in the first option. It shows you in which stop you are and follows the bus/train realtime. Every public transport has Wi-Fi. It could give better instructions on how to get to your first stop, in the airport it just said go to S bahn and it was 2 lvls under.

Very helpful and accurate. It has all the features one would need. Also possible to buy tickets online that makes it a bit cheaper than a paper ticket. I just found the map a little slow hence no 5 stars. I would have given it 4.5stars but didn't have the option. The infos here are more updated than in the google map, which includes change of route due to "Bauarbeiten".

This app is a must to have in Hamburg. However, I would like to take 2 stars off the rating because 1) S1 trains between Poppenbüttel and Ohlsdorf are often cancelled but the app is not informed and busses from 11 directions drop their passengers at Poppenbüttel station although there is no service. 2) I started my new smart phone in Australia for the first time. Now I can't buy supplimentary tickets after 16:00 because the app believes the next day has started.

Is it intentional behavior to navigate back to the home screen of the app when purchasing a ticket for a certain trip? I thought it's a big to be fixed at first, but there has been at least one patch now and it's still in there. This behavior forces the user to re-query his iternary. I don't see how this is a design feature

New update is garbage. I am always missing trains because the app tells me a later time than expected. I dont need the app to tell me how long it takes to walk somewhere, and it's terrible at predicting how long it takes. Also the design itself is terrible, colours look like they were picked by someone colourblind.

As tourist in Hamburg I downloaded the app to get up-to-date information. Forget about it. The S3 line was heavily impacted due to construction (line interrupted, alternative service) and the app just doesn't mention anything about it and calculates the route as if everything was normal....

No map search so what if I don't know what is the best bus stop, let alone the name of the stop around the destination. Had to use Google map to get the name of the station, copied the name but I can't paste it on the search bar on this app. It's better to look outdated but funktion than to look hip, cool but useless.

Why can't I change manually the language settings and the display settings? I see the time with am/pm and can't change it. Under the setting are no useful setting options. With the back button I am sent to the start display and have to kick through everything again. There is no option to step back just one display. Why is it nor possible to save a route to check it later?

The app is great but two features are desperately needed: - the ability to set a minimum transfer time. Sometimes the app expects you to get from one connection to another in an unrealistically short amount of time. - proper navigation support, to help commuters walk to the correct station /stop.

The new design looks good, but the removed features are somewhat essential, for a person using the app in their daily life. The app itself is still around 2.5 stars, but the inability to take valid criticism from the developer is really aggravating to me and the new app score shows there is a lot do dislike "getting used to it" doesn't quite cut it.

Delays are not displayed anymore at all. The old version showed even the slightest delay and updated the time of arrival so that delayed trains were still being shown as reachable after their original departure time. Now with the new version even 30 Minutes delay and over are not shown at all and trains that have not even arrived yet are shown as not reachable anymore. Absolutely unreliable, especially since the DB is more often late than on time. Please fix this issue!

Failed to log in, ever since I updated the app, also tickets are 'not purchaseable here... get it on alternative sale channels.' There are two reasons I downloaded the app: to find routes (and it was way more lucid before the update) and to buy tickets on my phone. I am disappointed that both aspects are now messed up..

This app is hot garbage. The old app worked just fine. This app's ticketing -- the main reason for getting it in the first place, at a time where we are told to avoid contact -- does not work. Can't delete obsolete credit cards. Can't add a new one, just an unhelpful "an error occurred". This is totally unacceptable.
