Description of Simple Alarm Clock

Simple Alarm Clock is the alarm clock doing one thing and doing it right: waking you up.

The interface of our Alarm clock is simple, intuitive and efficient. By removing what is not essential, we make access to everything you need even easier.

App highlights:
- Any number of alarms, recurring or one-shot
- Entering time with a phone-style keyboard (very fast!)
- Choose interface colors and size to you liking
- Configurable fade-in times (volume starting low and gradually increasing)
- Gentle alarm can be enabled to wake up in the light sleep phase
- Upcoming alarms can be skipped for one day if woke up early

I've used this alarm for years, & I love it. This is an updated review because there was a problem that happened with an app update but they fixed it and I reinstalled it and I am once again very happy with this app. Thank you. Only thing I miss since the update is being able to type the hour like "7" and then pressing AM without having to also type the "00" but that is a minor thing my muscle memory will eventually remember. Thanks for fixing the app!

Decent alarm clock! After awhile though, it quits working. I've relied on it for a few years now, but maybe after a year or so each time, I've had to uninstall and reinstall it as I've been late to work a couple of times, by that point. It's a great alarm clock for short term use!

I use this app often so, it's very useful to me but, I wish there was a way to disable the app whenever I need to shut everything off for a brief period and then just turn them all back on again later in the day when I need the alarms again. I can't do a video conference with my bosses when my alarms are going off in the middle of the conference!

App works very well, and i've been using it for years. But with one of the recent updates made it worse. Very difficult to dissmis or snooze now. Also there is no pop up during alarm. Please bring it back like before. Thanks and keep up a good work.

This is a very easy to use clock and alarm app. It has several ring tones loaded already but you can also personalize by adding your favorites. Everyday my schedule is different. I set this alarm at least 5 times a day and never have I not had the alarm go off. Great job.

Unreliable on a new Android 12 phone. Sometimes the alarm works while other times there will be no notification. Not useful if it can't do what it is designed for.

This app was great until the recent update. I can't snooze with the volume buttons anymore. Why was this feature removed? Now I have to blind myself with the screen to snooze the alarm? Taking away features does not necessarily make something better. I'd go premium but the feature isn't there either. Boo!

1st: I love love love this alarm, had it for yrs, always trusted it! Unfortunately, since my recent android update, it has failed to go off almost every other day. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but is still buggy. I don't want another alarm but can't trust this one anymore after sleeping in too many times. I am hoping some fixes can help me keep it. Until then, I will not uninstall, but have turned off all alarms and will be using a different one in hopes I can use this one again. Help

I've had this app for years and it worked fine until the last update. It acted like everything was set, however, I overslept because there was actually NO ALARM! It was like it erased itself. Not reliable at all. In response to the email to resolve the problem. : I uninstalled and re-installed. There was NO fix!

It worked great at first. No ads, too good to be true? Then after a while one day I wake up to a warning by my phone that this app has been draining the app way more than any other. And it has literally no alarms on, the app has no business working, so what the hell. Its use has been going slowly up with the weeks, so this might have some really shady stuff inside. Just to be safe I uninstalled it

Simple and straightforward. Would like to see the following features: * Configurable per alarm: alarm sound, alarm ringing time, snooze time, # alarm repeats. * One time alarms for a specific date (no weekly repeats). I used to have a Samsung phone and its alarm clock was excellent (also included timer & stopwatch). Now I have a Xiaomi, and I can't find any alarm clock app as useful, friendly, and intuitive as the Samsung stock app.

Really enjoyed this app to start with. Installed an update last month and lost all my alarms. Uninstalled and reinstalled like recommended and nada. Now it won't even save an alarm, even if I set it for a daily alarm. Once the alarm has gone off its job is done and bye-bye. Good thing I found a more reliable alarm clock app.

This app gives you a very simple and straightforward alarm system! Everything is working well until recently. The only problem now is, it's difficult to turn the alarm off when it starts to ring. So, I'm uninstalling it - to reinstall it, and see what happens. * Wish me luck (LOL)

Update: changing the ringtones is working again, and so I am very happy with this alarm. It works perfectly, and I use it several times every day for reminders. I have used this app for several years, and I hope to keep it for many more years.

Love that it's ad free. I like the dark theme, the pre-alarm, large snooze button and hold-to-stop option. But pre-alarm and snooze increments are too restrictive. Also, vibration doesn't work at all and pre-alarm simply keeps the screen on for tens of minutes afaict. Hope these will be fixed soon

Great when it works. Never updates and periodically will not give display to snooze or dismiss. Currently, when alarms go off, it takes to the app, and the only option is to turn the ureent alarm off in settings and then back on. For alarms, I like the reminder of the snooze, for this makes the app useless.

Gemerally still good BUT the new interface to edit an alarm time is buggy. If you dont touch the current alarm in the exact center you go into the more extended edit screen selecting ring tone etc. Trying to edit just in a hurry you dont need this extra dialogue. Confine the touch area for extended dialbgue more clearly. Only touching the tripple dots (right) should give you this dialogue. .. Not touching slightly low or off center in the main screen area. This used to be no problem.
