Description of MATLAB Mobile

Connect to MATLAB® from your Android smartphone or tablet.

Evaluate MATLAB commands, create and edit files, view results, acquire data from sensors, and visualize data – from the convenience of your mobile device.

CONNECT TO THE CLOUD
Use your MathWorks Account to connect to MathWorks Cloud from MATLAB Mobile™. Linking a license that is current on MathWorks Software Maintenance Service to your MathWorks Account increases your storage quota and unlocks access to other add-on products on the license.

With your MathWorks Account, you can:
• Access MATLAB from the command-line
• View, run, edit and create files from the Editor
• Acquire data from device sensors
• Store your files and data on MATLAB Drive (you receive 5 GB of cloud storage)

Link a license that is current on MathWorks Software Maintenance Service to your MathWorks Account to unlock the following features:
• Access to other add-on products on your license
• 20 GB of cloud storage on MATLAB Drive

FEATURES
• Command-line access to MATLAB and add-on products
• 2D and 3D plots to visualize data
• Editor to view, run, edit and create MATLAB files
• Data acquisition from device sensors
• Image and video acquisition from the camera
• Cloud storage and synchronization with MATLAB Drive
• Custom keyboard to enter typical MATLAB syntax

LIMITATIONS
The following features are not supported:
• Using MATLAB Apps, such as Curve Fitting
• Creating apps with App Designer
• Interacting with 3D figures
• Opening or creating models using the Simulink graphical environment

Keywords related to communication tool box are not working. What we have to do to install our required toolboxes. Bode, qfunc, tf many keywords are not working. I love this apk, but pls provide all keywords as working. 🙏

Not worth. Doing in MATLAB cloud. Then also lots pf package missing. e.g. Signal Processing Toolbox (not able to fix this in the app)

Apparently there is no more possibility to connect the mobile app to the computer... Some recent forums seem to indicate that it is still possible but I have been looking for hours.

I am an assistant professor and suggested all of my students to install this app on mobile for execution of lab programs,, and unable to execute signal processing programs ,,it showing signal processing tool box is not available in mobile Plz suggest how to activate it

Hi, good day! Can you associate .m or related MATLAB files in Files to this app? I can't open those files, and MATLAB isn't in the suggestion to open with. Other than, great app!

Very bad experience. Does not opening only buffering. You need to improve your cloud connectivity. I will suggest all please don't waste time on this stupid app.

In previous versions of this app, the keyboard was automatically switched to MATLAB keyboard while using the app. Can you please bring the option to switch keyboards directly in the toolbar of the command window rather than under Settings -> MATLAB Keyboard?

Awesome, it really is what i hope for. The only issue i can see is that you cannot upload (.m files). it would be very appreciated if you could fix that in future updates. Keep up the good work

IDK why anyone is complaining that the mobile version doesn't have every single bell and whistle that Matlab offers. It still offers a lot for a mobile app. If you need simulink, buy the student version for your laptop like you're supposed to.

It's good for practicing in moblie. So far the responses from command are very good, since till now I'm basic learner of MATLAB, as time goes I hope to explore the other functions that I didn't use in this app. Recommend to those who are learning MATLAB Language.

This makes learning Matlab during lectures so easy. Thankyou for making this version free. Suggestion: if commands could be scanned from written paper and added to Matlab, since typing entire commands is painstaking on mobile keyboard. Hoping to see this feature soon.

It's awesome that there's a mobile version of MATLAB. It would be even better if the app would work in Dex mode to allow for some incredible productivity.

Perfect! Fully functional lightweight app with simple interface. Even some complex scripts that were written on a PC, work excellent on a mobile.

I cant open this app. When i open it shows that web page is not available. My internet connection is so fast even though iam not able to open this app. Always showing that web page is not available. Iam really disappointed with this app.

It will be more helpful if some more additional tool boxes are added such as control system tool box etc. As of now it is good to use and its more comfortable for students due to its compatibility and portability.

Why bother with an app when it needs constant connection to the cloud anyways? The prices charged for this are ridiculous period, and now this? Give me a break.
