Wifi speed is reported slower than Ookla speed test results. Hope you can fix this bug. Otherwise informative on signal strength and band.

wanted to make heatmap, however, you loose half an hour for scanning and then you cannot see the results, only to export them and to open them at desktop computer (where also installation of NetSpot is required). I wrote this review before uninstall.

Survey function is really cool, but it doesn't tell you you need to pay to see the results until after you've completed survey of your whole house. Guess I'll try wifiman instead.

BE AWARE.....THEY DONT MENTION So the paid versions you cant use on cell phone, cant use a tablet, AND cant use on desktop. Heres the reply i got back Hello, I regret to say that NetSpot is not compatible with Chromebook. NetSpot runs on a MacBook (macOS 10.10+) or any laptop (Windows 7/8/10) with a standard 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless network adapter. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Nice app, but, I get comparisons with access points that are 20 miles away. My home network shows up in the graphs when I am at work. Just the actually available access points please.

Very deceiving app. Useless without a $50 license, but you'll only know it after wasting time with the survey, exporting data, installing desktop app and then trying to import it. Why don't you tell upfront?

Nice and easy to use but I would like at least a trial that includes the heat maps / pro features to test before buying for a few days.

Very nice looking app with one crutial feature missing for me. It doesn't resolve and show the vendor of the AP/Router. Only MAC of the AP is shown which doesn't allow easy identification of the vendor.

Advertised as free functioning wifi survey app and notes that you have to export the survey heatmap to desktop then it asks you to pay. Wasted time creating survey points with no indication that function wasn't available as paid, Would have given 5 stars if noted otherwise as the scan function is neat and detailed,

Application for both phone and pc are excellent. We sorted out a huge lag issue with our streaming service after our neighbours set up a new router/repeater. New channel selected based on the analysis provided excellent results!

Spent a lot of time surveying the place just to find out it cannot be imported into Windows desktop version. Incompatible format (their Win and Mac versions use different file formats). Mac version may work, but I don't have a Mac.

Wery simple and easy to understand interface. The visualisations makes it easy to detect overlapses with other networks channel usage. A threshold definition in the graphs whould have made it even easier for detecting deadspots.

Slow on updates to the point of being hardly useful. If you leave it running the charts are fine for a site survey but don't expect to find holes in coverage or identify issues with any in depth info or analysis.
