It's an awesome launcher with a lot of potential. It does a lot different from most other launchers out there in good ways... But there's no world where I would spend $30/yr on a launcher. Not when there's other great ones with years of polish behind them like Smart, Nova, with less than $10 lifetime premium plans. And copious others that are completely free. It does a lot different but there's no world where it's $30/yr different

This is a wonderful software skin, it is one of the best ones that I have ever used. I will say however that I feel like there could be some polishing around the Ratio settings menu and I would like to see more customization options for the lock screen. I would also like for them continue working on the conversations section on the home screen. All in all this app is wonderful to use for it's intended purpose and it is a very clean experience.

Update 10-15: another weird thing i forgot to mention. nothing to do with the app but when searching on the play store. ratio doesnt show up. I had to search blloc inc. ratio for it to even show up as the 10th result Really cool. The idea is almost perfect. But understandably there's lots of bugs. (pie. galaxy note 8) - cannot control apps from root cards (spotify) - cannot add YouTube card -huge lag when holding/release tiles to edit. it takes edit screen like 5 sec to appear.

Great emphasis on productivity and minimalism in design, but very unintuitive for working quickly and intuitively, at least compared to Smart Launcher. For example, there's no dedicated Play Store button on this launcher nor the ability to set it. Also, the animations are indeed too slow, and having to think about which category each of your apps is in, opening the name of the category, waiting for a slow animation, and then finding it in that category? It's not worth the productivity tracking

Ratio has always been an efficient and beautiful launcher. Unfortunately I've come back to try this app and the subscription isn't justified. I believe this app is better off as a one time payment. Edit: there is a lifetime subscription, but the price is absurd. I understand the developers need money but at the end of the day, as beautiful and distraction free as it is, it's still a launcher. I don't think it's worth the price.

Minimalist launcher that looks nice but doesn't give me the power to use my device as I want. I can't use any of the Android widgets of the apps on my device with this launcher. Instead, they ask me to use their own services for things like notes. A launcher should not be responsible for storing my notes. The messaging service looks nice, but I have to surrender access to all of my messages to Blloc in order to use it. I'd rather stay in control of my data.

Ratio is a nice, minimal, launcher. However, like any other launcher with automatic categories, the sorting is only about 70% accurate. Example: an app called torque is used to read automotive data from an OBD2; this is not a messaging app. I have yet to find a launcher that can achieve a 95% accuracy in auto categorizing apps. For me, productivity comes down to an AI that can categorize and organize my phone with a 95% accuracy, otherwise I'm doing it myself and defeating the whole purpose. UPDATE: I have changed the review to 5 stars after dev reply.

Been using for a few months. Good launcher. Needs bug fixes. For some reason I can't move some icons in my drawers but can move others for example. Custom wallpaper resets every time I restart my phone (One Plus 7 Pro). Tree feature is ok, doesn't work with regular messages though, which is kind of the most important one.

Dope Launcher! But a few things should be added to make it even more convenient: 1. The app search bar: An option to change the search engine (to search the internet and not just apps) 2. Wallpaper: having the support for live wallpaper would be a plus!!!! 3. Widget Panel: The option to change or disable the panel would make this app phenomenal. 4.Messaging: Of course we would love the option/be able to use the phone messaging app without having to use an alternative app. Thank you guys!

Overall, this is an amazing app. It's helped me manage my time better. It's a game changer for me. There's a bug I keep running into when putting my phone to rest while the window select menu is open. The "swipe bar" remains static until closing and reopen several times. (Pixel 3) Worth it though!

Great app. I have one complaint however. Scrolling on the leftmost page is not smooth. I am certain it has nothing to do with my device. I feel like the scroll lag is there by design but it would be great to have it smoother. I would like to suggest discord integration with tree if that's possible.

I like what it's trying to do but... This app shows some promise, but like others have mentioned the subscription seems kind of steep for something that feels lacking. And this isn't about the minimalist design choice. In fact I find it rather nice. I think this is about number of features present vs the price of the subscription.

Hands down the best phone experience ever. It's very minimal with easy access to all the apps. It's fully loaded with customization options. The root is a very powerful tool. It enables easy access to all of the essentials like calendar, weather, calculator and many more without leaving the home screen. The lastest update was the tree. It's amazing to be able to reply to all of your messages in one place. Blackberry owners will be thrilled to use it. It's very similar to the hub.

I'll be honest, the launcher is beautiful, smooth, easy to setup, and has amazing potential! That being said, there is one glaring issue: price. At the moment (April 2022) the cost of this app is $50/year. Not a one time purchase, but a yearly price. I still downloaded it despite the reviews but I was still disappointed. I would much rather pay a one time fee then have a subscription to a launcher. Blloc, if you see this, please lower your price. You'll get a higher user count and better reviews

The look and feel is nice but this launcher lacks key functionality and customization and is overly convoluted. Niagara is a better clean and simple option. Some key things that made me stop using this. Discord doesnt work with messaging hub. App categories are too broad; when folders default to 20+ apps there is no point in using this as a drawer alternative. It would be better to have a handful of apps available say 5-15 with others found via search or a drawer. Ability to change colors. I like the single accent color idea but the shade of yellow green gets old pretty quick. I have been a beta tested on and off for this even before this was in the play store and I haven't felt like this is really any better than Niagara, however I do feel like if especially the messages hub was fixed to include more services ( discord for me) and the home screen was reworked it would be interesting and worth trying long term again. I want to like this launcher just never end up feeling it ever is polished.

Great launcher but the latest v5 update is unusable for me. The swipe up app drawer gesture is really buggy. For example, if you perform short scrolling gestures where the title of a an expanded drawer is near the top of the screen, it instantly jumps down to the app drawer. Even if it works as intended, I always find it opening without my intention. Please make the swipe gesture for the app drawer optional. EDIT: Seems fixed, much appreciated!

It's a good launcher, with a decently high price tag, but if you have been following it since the days where you needed an invite then you know they've put in a lot of work into this. Unfortunately it didn't bode well with my workflow. I use WhatsApp on Windows and any messages I send and receive through it don't show up in the messaging functionality of the app. I still feel the root part of the app is missing something, it's just strange how it works as a feed for commands. It's good!

Ratio changed my phone use in one day. By the end of the 7 day trial, I am hooked. I let it categorize all my apps and use the alphabet search when I need something. Some say it's too much per year, I gladly support these developers for the hard work and time. This is easily worth supporting. I was so frustrated with habitual use and screen time. You guys really did something big.
