Description of Galaxy Watch4 Plugin

This application is a component for Galaxy Wearable Application.
Galaxy Wearable Application has to be installed in advance.

※ Please allow the permission of Galaxy Wearable Application from Android Settings to use it completely in Android 6.0.
Settings > Apps > Watch Active Plugin > Permissions

※ Access rights information
The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

[Required permissions]
- Location: Used to search for nearby devices for Watch through Bluetooth
- Storage: Used to transmit and receive the stored files with Watch
- Telephone: Used to check device-unique identification information for updating apps and installing plug-in apps
- Contacts: Used to provide services that need to be linked with accounts using registered Samsung account information
- Calendar : Used to synchronize schedule with Watch
- SMS : Used to synchronize SMS with Watch
- Call logs : Used to synchronize Call logs with Watch

[Optional permissions]
- Camera : Used to scan the QR code to activate Watch's SIM card(eSIM Support Model only)

It keeps popping up with a brief white screen before closing, sometimes once a minute sometimes once every seven seconds.

The app keeps popping up in the background, after the recent update. It's super irritating and interrupts a lot.

I have been trying to download tomcat watch face but it is stuck on downloading. I waited more than 6 minutes for it to get downloaded but it was still stuck on downloading. Moreover the download speed is very slow for this app. The process speed is also very slow. Looks like samsung has stopped providing support for watch 4. Feels like I have been scammed. Very bad experience. Won't recommend anyone to buy samsung products ever again.

My phone audio can't be controlled by the watch after ui 5 update on the watch. This application update doesn't fix anything.

Works Good! I just wish it had more features, longer lasting battery charge & needs more Apps available/added for the Consumer to be able download from "Google playstore!" -(Example: •Fb Messenger•)! Then it would totally be 5️⃣🌟🌠!

Keeps interrupting other apps and drains battery. Random disconnections from watch and to connect back, I had to reset the watch.

Really bad experience getting a white screen everytime I use my phone the white screen keeps on popping up whenever using the phone please fix the bug as soon as possible 🙏

Keeps popping up (app keeps opening in the background) while using apps, screen goes white and always consuming battery in background. Dissapointed

Any time it will disconnect your watch from the phone. You cannot pair it again until you reset your entire watch. Can't be more pathetic than this!

Last update screwed connectivity. It completely disconnects watch from phone permanently and I gotta reset the watch. This is like my 7th time. Please fix this.

Since the update app keeps overlaying/refreshing over other apps. Only way I found to eliminate the issue was to block all my notifications and permissions which renders watch useless ...

Similar experience as someone else that mentioned how a white screen would flash when you're in other apps, so when you go to most recently used apps this app pops up even though I haven't been on the app once.

As most people have already commented, the app constantly interrupts anything i do on my phone. It's been a headache and now unfortunately need to uninstall it until an update is available from Samsung. If there aren't any updates it will render the watch useless on its own

Randomly complains that it needs notification permissions, while it already does have it. And next to that annoying notification I need to setup my watch again because it won't appear in the list anymore...

Needs a serious update. Watch 4 lte has been having problems. App keeps randomly popping up on screen many times. Was taking an important video and the pop up stops the recording!!!

Awful app, I have a samsung galaxy watch 4 classic and initially the watch was working fine but suddenly came an update and the watch restarted , and since then it hasn't gone back to its normal state . It has been two frustrating weeks since Im trying to sync but nothing works

Awful! Just doesn't work with Google Pixel 7! I've spent around 3 infuriating hours trying every trick online to make it work and still I have nothing. Constantly get a pop up that disappears instantly saying about incorrect pin but I've reset watch and phone and have no pins set up! Pairing codes match up on device and phone but IT JUST DOES NOT WORK!!!!!

The Galaxy Watch4 Manager is opening automatically in my mobile randomly for a second as a white screen before closing again. This is really irritating as this issue is happening while I am watching YouTube videos, streaming OTT apps, it is also happening while I am browsing though my mobile home screen and not using any app. If this random popup happens when I am using some other app, that app closes unexpectedly. Fix this random popup issue ASAP on priority.
