How Call Recorder works :

- Open the Call Recorder Android app it will now run in the background to increase productivity by enabling easy access.
- Make or receive a call and it will begin recording once the call connects
- Select the app to access the list of previously recorded calls and play them.

Notes: (Instructions + Troubleshooting tips)

1. Please note that some devices are not compatible or not allow to record calls.
2. Please confirm that your device should not have more than one call recording application, otherwise it can create issues.
3. If call recorder does not record calls, please restart your device to try again. If it does not record again then your device might not support call recording.
4. Some devices record low voice of other party, in this problem, please enable automatic speaker, on start of call recording by going application and then more settings.
5. This app might not be working when you are using other apps to record something, such as wechat, LINE: Free Calls & Messages, voice recorder or other call recorder.
6. You can select WAV, 3GPP, MP4 or AMR audio encoding format, if MP3 recording not working properly on some devices.
7. If you get error "msg_create_file_error", then please test, Have your device been with sdcard or memory card? If not, please change recordings destination path to any other path by going into more settings and recording path and change it correctly.
8. If you get "Sorry recording starting failed", please try other recording options like change Audio source or sample rate.

Constantly cuts off!! Instead of writing things down, I try n record everything so that I can go back and listen to dates, key words, numbers and such. This App doesn't even warn you wen it has generously cut off on you. And trying to turn it back in can be a pain as well. Hopefully I'll be able to find another one that can deliver. Ugh!!

UPDATE : Never heard from developer, ended up uninstalling & downloading their Pro version. Works great. UPDATE: Need help from developer! All of a sudden it wants a pin number which I entered and was told it is not correct. Clicked on Forgot Password, was told a reset code would be sent to my email, except then I got another error message saying try again. Can I have the reset code sent to a different email? What is going on? I have many calls, but now I can't get to them. Please help!

Works for me but i have couple of notes... 1. Somehow it recognises most of the numbers and it doesn't recognise some, then I can assign a contact to an unrecognised number to match a contact, which is ok but then there are some unrecognised numbers that can't be assigned to a contact, very weird... 2. The only options for recordings are all, Incoming and Outgoing and No... Will be nice if there is a whitlist and a blacklist for example. 3. Deleting records is a bit of a headache, only 1 by 1..

It's not what I expected. Receiving or calling out, I can only hear me talking. Receiving or calling out with the speaker phone on, it will record both parties and then the audio will go out. Because it doesn't record both ways, I deleted the app. I liked that there were little ads.

I thought this app was great, but with time, I discovered that the full calls were NOT being recorded. The "recording" timer runs, but the line goes silent. It restarts sometimes, so I have to listen to minutes of nothing in hopes of more recording. I'm very disappointed. I'd pay cash for a reliable app!

Wish I could give negative stars! This app is as worthless as they come. I am having to constantly grant permissions for this app for EVERY call. I got it because my mother has dementia and I need to keep record of our phone calls but it's trash because most of the phone calls are not recorded because the permissions keep getting turned off by the app. Don't waste your time or valuable space on your phone.

Some how good, it keep asking me to turn on permission, when is already on , consequently it stop recording, which I lost importan information , I have to go and turn it off and back on so it can start recording again, it gets annoying, beacuase you don't know it stop working, until you go and try to check the calls, just to find out that it did not record the call, because permission is not on, when it show to be on in the setting.

Works perfectly so far, very easy to use. would be great if instead of being able to select all calls, incoming or outgoing, we could select certain numbers or contacts to record, but not sure if there's a way to program that or not.

almost great app. only records on my side;; however way around this is putting phone on Speaker, even lowest speaker volume. wish there's a way for auto speaker low volume EDIT:: app stopped detecting calls to record. it also was recording previously incoming calls not picked up. Have to reinstall to start recording but then a week later stops again. or toggle the 'App Connector' off and on to fix. and sometimes Does record other end without speaker

It does what it needs to, usually. Sometimes it stops recording in the middle of a call and then picks it back up. I'm not sure why but it's a problem especially when that's it's job is to record. Sucks even more when it does it on calls that are really important and are the whole reason why I got the app in the first place. I can't convince myself to pay for the ad-free version until things like this are fixed.

It is great app. Records great when it's not malfunctioning. Every day or so i have to open the app to see if it's working or giving me error give permission to auto record calls from the settings. It keeps malfunctioning. So i go to settings turn it off and back on again to work. Everyday or so. Fix this permission bug

Short recordings. It needs a setting for the length of calls to be recorded to improve the app. The person using the app should be able to control what they want to be record as they're using their own data. Also, instead of using e-mail to send verification, send it to the person phone & store the recording to a secure file on the app is my suggestions. No solicitation should be done on these apps. We should be able to opt out.

Been using this app for a couple days and it seems to work ok. I have noticed it will sometimes mark the a recording with the wrong contact name and number. I also wish there was a way to designate where the recordings would be stored. So far I haven't been able to find the storage location for the recordings, as I would like to back them up on SD card.

Very embarrassing when you have an app which only records your own voice and you can't hear what the other person is talking about. Quite disgusting to call this a phone call recording app. I have tried every single combination of the settings and I cannot hear the other person just my own voice which is lovely but not used full at all if I need to prove a telephone conversation this app is useless and absolute time waste.

10/10 - My old Samsung has call recording built in, the newer ones don't I assume it's some stupid privacy issue law. But this app works every bit as well as the factory version 👍 Speaker or hand held it records very clearly and sounds great. *You may need to adjust in settings to suit your phone for the best results but it absolutely works well 👍

Absolutely useless trash app Which half the time doesn't capture the other person's voice, or if it does it's very weak and fuzzy, and regularly fails to record important phone calls because it needs you to re enable it's permissions before it will work. And while you're wasting your time re enabling it's permissions you'll see a system warning "This is malfunctioning" and when re enabled you can only get to your recordings by repeatedly pressing the back button. & Now it needs re enabling!

Very simple to use app. It records automatically and the audio features are customizable. Audio play back is of good quality and I can hear both incoming and outgoing audio clearly. My location settings have me Canada for any Canadians wondering about that. This is by far the easiest call recording app that I've used to date with superior results as well. So far it appears to be free and has minimal ads.

So far LOVING IT! Please don't mess with this app. It is perfect the way it is! I just started using it today, and so far I am absolutely loving it. It is recording BOTH sides of the conversation, with clear crisp audio. There is no obtrusive pop up that gets in your way when the call is finished. It shows the number of who called and the duration you spoke. it even has tabs so you can sort out incoming from outgoing. This app right now is the bomb! Leave it alone and you nailed it.
