Going to change my review, I've set the app to mile's/feet, but while following a route the voice direction's say the distance to junctions in metres. Thanks for the reply, the app on my phone updated on 12 Oct 2023, and I'm running version 9.184.0. Not sure if this is the latest version, not got the option to update as yet. This version I'm using still has the fault.

Very good when it works! I use it only for speed camera warnings, it works sometimes, other times it doesn't - nothing at all from the car audio system. All permissions allowed, no restrictions on battery. I've no idea why it only works sometimes. Samsung S20 plus, 2015 BMW. Edit - Additional info: Set to use Bluetooth HFP through car audio, sometimes get speed camera announcements, other times, nothing at all. Incoming phone calls always work through car audio.

Very good app. Can anyone tell me if I can stop the app shutting down when the screen is turned off and I'm not moving for a few minutes. I keep the phone in my pocket and use a headset on a motorcycle. By the time I've put the phone away and got ready, it's shut down. I use it mainly to alert me about mobile cameras. Not good if it's shut down without me noticing.

Very useful and easy to use navigation app. Can recommend it to everyone :) Things I'd like to see added: - small speed limit signs for upcoming speed limit changes shown like the speed camera and construction signs on the map so you can adjust your speed in advance - user added "alert" for wrong or temporarily changed speed limits, e.g. in construction zones like the speed camera and others - offline caching for selected regions so my data plan doesn't get used up through daily commuting

Was great until the last update. It will allow me save my current location in My Places but then tells me 'Sorry! The route is not available' when I try to navigate there! Please fix this. EDIT. Problem still persists after installing update. I really want this to work. Please make it so...

I like the warnings for speed limits but they're not accurate. The app has got a few decent functionalities, but it's the accuracy that's suboptimal. The app always thinks I'm exiting the highway at every exit and starts recalculating a new route and this is confusing. Terrible driving experience on highways.

Causes Android Auto to crash t works great as long as my phone doesn't overheat. It doesn't overheat when I use Waze or Google Maps. I have a Samsung SM-S215DL - Samsung Galaxy A21 When the phone is cool, Google Assistant works in Android Auto. When it's hot, it doesn't work. Sometimes Android Auto will crash if the phone gets too hot. It takes about 20 minutes for it to get pretty hot, and Google Assistant stops working in Android Auto. This is after doing a factory reset on my phone.

Used to work flawlessly. I only use it for the audio warnings via BT to my car speakers, but since the last update the app doesn't open properly under the lock screen, so I have to unlock the phone screen first in order for it to open fully and work, which is annoying, as I previously never had to do this.

Why is AmiGo better ? 1/ graphics are cleaner and lanes visible. 2/ very customizable, set for every driving experience, principally speed, speed cameras and traffic flow. 3/ Real time advice, ie, alternative route in problem areas. 4/ Reduces stress by accenting directions with peripheral signals drawing attention to screen. Accuracy similar to Google.But overall a significant improvement.

Updated and getting better every time. My go to sat nav Suggestion though.. we have the option of changing how early / late we want warnings to appear. Unless I've missed the option, can we have something similar for the app to allow us to adjust the lane guidance timing. Half the time it shows what lane to be in when it's too late to change to.

Needs a full time data connection for mapping, navigation and traffic information, otherwise it will crash. There appears to be no ability to store off line map data to get arround this problem. When it works it is quite good, however, I suspect it makes my phone hot.

Love this app, it automatically starts when I get in the car and warns me enough in advance without being intrusive. One star removed because the previous version used to have a really distinctive ping notification but the update replaced this with a much less noticeable one that I missed a few times. It is now set to a voice notification which works fine

This app used to be flawless (on Z flip 3), now it's broken (on Z flip 5), crashes constantly, freezes a lot, drops out constantly, and auto start doesn't work anymore. Can't rely on it now and wow this was my greatest ever app.. So accurate before never missed a camera! I would happily pay annual subscription if you could put the effort in to make this up to date/ reliable! The alternatives can't be trusted like this could, I tried them all, nowhere else to go!

After the last update the speed limits have disappeared no matter where you are. Only shows "- -" although the voice alerts do work. Tried to report this and it's impossible either from the application or from online. Seems that you don't worry about being able to receive bug reports as you make everything difficult to report!

Lately very poor navigation. On the Autobahn it constantly follows the exits half way and then jumps back on the Autobahn - even if I'm constantly driving left lane. Sometimes it even really navigates me to the exit, leaving the Autobahn, just to let me turn at the next crossing so I would be driving back directly on the Autobahn. That's extremely annoying!! I recorded a video of that. Also the Zoom is pretty bad, should be way more dynamic (speed depended) like in Google Maps for example.

Getting better all the time. I love the traffic levels shown by RY&G coloured lines. Works with Android Auto, except the full-screen speed limit overlay, but I find that I can show it on the phone screen (set up b4 connecting to AA) while also showing the route map on the car screen. I prefer this to Google Maps as info is unobtrusively displayed and more useful info such as tracking & showing avg speed when driving in an average speed check zone. (Rather than showing coffee shops,etc.)

Overall app is good, but currently lacks some simple functions, such as a compass, offline maps and suggesting other routes while driving. The database of addresses for companies / popular sites needs improvement as many aren't listed, which then results in the need to visit Google maps for a postcode. App needs performance and user interface improvements, particularly for finding routes and starting a journey. Reporting a hazard should be on page 1 of the report tool, not an additional tap away

At first look, not bad, although the display shows distances such as "1 mile" to turn off, but voice (EN GB Male) says "1.4 kilometers" etc, even though settings are in miles/yards. Seems that the units are correct (miles/yards) when running on phone but goes wrong when connected to Android Auto, even after trying the Google TTS option suggested. Oddly, the distance to speed cams speaks in yds, but nav instructions are metres. Tried fixes, Jas, no difference. Also changed to Auto, still same.
