works pretty good the only problem I see as of now is it does not stay off or turn off easily when you disconnect or tell it to disconnect it's temporarily does and then comes back on a lot of times without you knowing so you have to go directly to it and hit it once and sometimes more than once other than that your free version works pretty good even with the limited 10 gigs

Must admit this VPN has been like a breath of fresh air with the crowded players in the privacy market. Their Free service compelled me to try the premium version so far their server speeds have been quite fast though not quicker than their well established peers. 30 day money back guarantee is a plus. Their wireguard protocol (recent implementation) is an added bonus. A must have in my opinion to keep your data safe online + they own most of their servers (physical based) & not virtual.

Just downloaded the latest version, and it Still crashes immediately after opening the app. (9 Nov 2021) Edit: An update was released later today, I've just downloaded it, and it appears to have fixed the issue. The app starts ok now.

First of all the app doesn't work even after contacting the support which was totally useless and didn't help me out at all, so I lost my money on the app that didn't work even 1 minute plus now apparently it is kind of impossible to cancel my subscription. Maybe there is some special way to do it that I don't know but again support didn't even try to help me out with it either. Or I am so unlucky or this app sucks.

This works perfectly fine on my laptop, fast connection and zero errors. But this app isn't even letting me connect to a location, it keeps saying there's an error in trying to keep the connection and it's infuriating.

Aug 20th release. App is unsafe for critical use as it frequently is NOT connected even when settings are in auto connect and kill switch is on at start up. Used on Windows 10 and Android 11. Monitored my connection for a few days and I'll have to uninstall. May be okay for casual use or file download. Normally use through openvpn on Asus/Merlin router and it's rock solid there. Will return to that setup. 4 stars for VPN use through a router but harder to set up. How about a Merlin guide?

2.5 stars. Good speeds and reliability, but battery usage is atrocious. I had it on for about 2 hours and it used 20% on my S22+, and caused my phone to heat up. Fine if you just need to do something for an hour or so, but I would not recommend it if you need a von for extended periods of time.

It used to be awesome. The whole, signing up and logging in has become quite bothersome. Why would it tell me my password or email is incorrect if I just made a new account with a password generated by the app itself?! 3 different emails and 2 hours of "forgetting password" and (trying) to verify, to no prevail. Such a dissapointment.

It's not possible to contact with help team every time for simple connection problem. It's failing to connect every moment. Lost reliability at present. In spite of best potentially of Privado, I've to stay with Proton for a while. I'll be back when this basic connection problem resolve. Good wishes.

Work great upon initial connection but failed to reconnect when I lost wifi. The app was in a weird state trying to reconnect when I was in range of wifi again. The app wouldn't release the VPN connection state although it was trying to reconnect and I couldn't restart the app. I had to manually force it to stop in the system settings. Went back to OpenVPN

It just won't connect anymore??? It's been fine for months but then all of a sudden it just refuses to connect, no matter if I spam the button or whatever, if I click it it will just go from "connecting" to "click to connect" in a matter of a second. Please fix this, it is a great vpn!

App is useless, as it disconnects and I have to reinstall, or restart the app. It will say connecting and won't allow me to turn off the VPN, so I have to force stop the app. Their customer service is bad as well. They have a series of questions that may be difficult for someone non-tech savy to know; much less know where to look for an answer. Even after providing logs, account info, device info etc. the problem convienantly is your fault case closed no more responses. Speeds are slow as well.

My Usenet Newserver bundles with Privado, otherwise I wouldn't have tried it. Privado continually drops connections on both my Android phone and two different Windows PC. It's just not stable. When it does connect my bandwidth gets throttled to about 80 to 90%, generally in the 4 to 7 Mbps range. Unreliable and slow. I use OpenVPN instead 11/6/21 Now Privado refuses to load on my Android phone. The recent privado update for Windows now has doubled my speed to @ 13 Mbps, about 5% of bandwidth

Tested vs OpenVPN, seemed faster and it has a speed rating for some servers (saying LA is congested), but keeps connecting automatically even though the settings have never been turned on, and after a few days of use started injecting ads that can't be closed. The ads went away as soon as I switched back to OpenVPN. I also have a paid account.

You can't sign up in Iran and when I connect the vpn so I may can sign up it shows me an error called "Proxy detected":(

Pros - you get 10g of data, it's simple to use and your data is renewed monthly.. Update - just like they've stated, the previous issues have been resolved. Excellent customer service. (Do remember to turn off "location" in settings to ensure proper regional selection w/ Netflix)

For the first free month this app was great, but then I started getting all sorts of problems and finally it cut me off completely with some message about my account/profile being deleted. The support robot answered immediately and I thought all would be OK, but the problem was never resolved and support robot stopped answering. I don't think a renewable 'free' service actually exists. It's probably just there for a month to induce paying subscriptions. Bummer.
