Terrible. I stayed in China for long time and I used many vpns, this is absolutely the worst. Most of the time I can't connect to the server I want and when connects it just crashes after 5 minutes. I cancelled my account after 3 days and they are going to give me my money back even though it was advertised a free cancellation period of 30 days. Customer support is super slow. If I could rate this app 0, I would.

OK when it works. On. Mate 20 pro crashes a lot. even though vypr off still blocks connections. Easy to use and set up. Per app connection flakey at best. Connecting fails with a message something went wrong, err yeah no s*%t. I don't have time to sit and trouble shoot a paid for app. Update, app does not notify when it disconnects, even though setup to do so. When connecting it drops connection on multiple servers. To flaky to trust having protection. Avoid.....

I've been looking for a new VPN. Have used others in the past and after several free trials, this is perfect for me. Speeds and server availability are fantastic, as well as options and features. The app is very streamlined, reliable and great for the everyday user. I am a new customer to this company but so far thrilled. If you are looking for a reliable service with good privacy that is simple to use, look no further.

Supposed to be connected automatically to a server even if I activated it in the settings control. Unfortunately this feature doesn't work for me. Always, always, always after my device come back from the Idle mode, I notice my phone is not connected to a server (using the VPN) COMPROMISING my information, I did pay for the full year and I honestly regret that. I do not recommend this VPN app. Don't waste your money.

No longer available on Google TV. Hopefully it's a bug, otherwise I'll need to find a new provider.

Had to clear the app data just so the app would stop crashing after the update, only to be greeted by a completely dumbed down UI that removed a lot of features from the old one. Still a great VPN service, but not the app. At least have a smart mode for the UI. Edit: Downgraded and it's all good again.

After the latest update I purchased the service again. But the connection in China didn't get better. The exact same problem for the past half year still exists. Customer service seems not understanding the situation. I've read other reviews. I've encountered login problem earlier. It's likely due to unstable servers. It'll ask re-login over and over again, and sometimes shows wrong password.

Using it on all my devices (phones, router, desktops). Using the chameleon mode it works in China (not every server though) and with Netflix while regular OVPN is detected from both. Speed is good most of the time. Easy to install and use, Auto-Connect works smoothly. So far no leaks reported nor suspicious connections logged on my computer as it is the case for some other VPN providers. Using it since 6 months now on the premium business plan.

This is the worst update I ever encountered. UI is worst than previous version and could not connect desired place untill now.

New update feels like a step back, performance seems worse, and features went missing. And since the update cannot connect to some servers.

It has been months that this cannot connect in China, and there is no refund or prolonged membership. However, this is not why I rated it one star. It's that I can't stand the new dark mode and it cannot be switched off.

Do I recommend it? Yes. Will I keep using it? Yes. Great service overall. Great speed to "less popular" locations (eg Australia to Europe). I've compared it to Pure VPN in terms of speed, and VYPR VPN comes out on top every time. The only problem - random disconnects (without notification) and no reconnect (so sometimes you think you're using the VPN but you're not (which is the main point of having a VPN). Auto disconnect helps when it randomly disconnects, by shutting down all internet traffic.

Close relatives and friends of mine who work in IT section have been using VyprVPN for many years now. And it is a great app, really. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same luck or experience as them. I wasn't able to connect to any servers and had log in issues. For the times it worked, it was amazing. But I just had to many issues. I'm giving VyprVPN a 4/5 because of the customer support team.

Fails to connect to (any of their) servers on a regular basis, hence the service is not reliable. When it works, the performance is good. But expect the connection to drop without you noticing that you are not protected by the VPN anymore. There is no ad hoc kill switch, just a permanent one that you would have to disable manually every time you do not want to use the VPN; when automatic reconnect is enabled, the kill switch should be on automatically until the connection has been reestablished

Pretty cool if you don't actually care about your security. Very good if you have a lot of free time to try and retry until you connect. Great if you don't mind constant, constant interruptions -- sometimes without a notification even. Fantastic if you want an application that occasionally shows you as connected to a VPN when you're not (this is my favorite feature!) Nice if you like to be driven up a wall trying to figure out why your WiFi is out only to discover it's working perfectly fine and the vypr app is blocking it even though it's disconnected (second favorite "feature"). Wonderful if you enjoy spending hours with customer service being told over and over again to "disable your firewall" before finding out it was a server problem. Magnificent if you're a collector of apps with UIs that sometimes stop responding altogether, just for fun. Overall, 10/10, *chef's kiss*, whatever the current expression is. But seriously though, vyprVPN can **** all the way off. Its one redeeming quality is that it has servers in countries where other services don't (when it works, that is.)

I tried many paid VPNs out there, but in the end I subscribed to this one cause it was the best and most affordable. Been using over a week now everyday. The app is stable, with many servers around the world and speeds are relatively good. I love the fact that I can manually choose which app goes through the VPN and which do not. This is a great plus! There are a few small issues though: 1. Sometimes the automatic server selection connects me to a dead server. I will need to manually disconnect and reconnect then it's fine. 2. Connecting to servers can sometimes take up to a minute. 3. Some servers aren't as fast as the others. 4. The app has crashed on me a few times, and when it does, all internet traffic on my phone is stuck or blocked, kill switch option was never on. Relaunching the app doesn't help as it won't be able to connect to any servers and gives an error. Restarting my phone seems to be the only solution. These aren't big issues, just a small nuisance. I highly recommend this VPN app over other big names I've also tried before.
