Seems suspicious asks for update for virus database... AFTER DOWNLOAD!!! ....and after updates it's just ineffective, unresponsive, crashes.. I mean if I had a malware to push around this is a sure way to do it...

I just found recently that this anti virus no longer have real time scan like it used to be. It's sad that you choose to remove such important feature. So goodbye for now. Hope you can bring back that feature in future.

Bring back spiderguard!!! Nothing changed...I don't need on-demand scanning at all. All I need is an active monitor back.

I have tested it in android studio using realtime malware samples from Github ,unfortunately it failed to detect even a single one ! I don't recommend it to download ! I will test it again but for now it's pretty straight forward no no for me!! THANK YOU DEV TEAM!!🙏

Realtime protection is not working anymore. I tested the same by installation eicar test apps from playstore. Dr Web ia not detecting the eicar app in real time. It detects only if we scan manually. This is happening after the recent update. If realtime protection is not there, not sure how can we trust this application.

The best !!!!. ( Ofcourse you have to see who built it. Yes it's the RUSSIANS.) Full scan , custom scan,express scan available. Almost all new types of threat detections available.even those threats which are not detected by malwarebytes or norton. Monitering system is perfect. Immediately notifies if there's a threat. ONLY I WANT YOU TO AUTO-DELETE THE THREAT. DONT ASK THE USER WHAT TO DO WITH THE THREAT ! Please let the users have an option of setting this app as device administrator.

Appears to do a very very through job. It takes a while and seems to check absolutely everything. It found no viruses, so I can't comment further. I'd recomend it.

Working fine on many different devices over the years. Since the last update, whenever other apps are updating on the Play Store, Dr Web stops abruptly. What use is an always on app that stops during critical processes?

Dr web has the deepest scans, costum scans , and the quarantine feature I love puting dangerous apps were they belong it has the best most simple and easy to navigate layout out of all antivirus apps NO POP UP ADS , NO LOUD FULL SCREEN ADS , THAT TAKE OVER YOUR PHONE LIKE A VIRUS 🦠 nothing is confusing or misleading here these devs are honest good people that aren't pushing their upgrades they are their as a still picture you can click on if you want but your never pressured into upgrading

Is there a way I can completely shut tgis app down while I'm working over the phone just to prevent any possible network or connection issues? I love this app so far and don't want to uninstall it completely, but would like to shut it off while I'm working because my phone gig doesn't joke when it comes to interruptions and the like.

The only real virus scanner I've seen by now. Everything is OK except incompatibility with Android 11. For example SD card contetnt are unreachable, data folder in Android folder is unaccible to scan.

I had an issue with browser ads popping up i got from a bad APK file and this was the online app that fixed it! Turns out it was Adware. It did a full scan the other apos i used (the popular ones) were just quick scans Im so happy thank you!

I used to love this LIGHT app but in one of their recent "updates," they removed the crucial feature of automatically scanning installed apps without telling us and are now saying to download the larger sized software to get the feature that this one had to begin. So NOT cool.

Caught an Instagram app worm? I was in the process of downloading the Instagram app, via Google Play Store, when Dr. Web notified me that a worm was embedded in the Instagram app. So, either this is a great app or it was a false positive. I've been using the app for two years and it seems to do its job. A few times it flashed that it detected a threat. Then, in a few seconds, the supposed threat disappeared. The Instagram app was a "persistent threat." Consequently, I use a browser for Instagram

I'm using Dr web light since late 2014 and I must say in 2022, its just a substandard version of what great it was. Earlier it used to scan links & messages from messaging apps like WhatsApp, telegram & browser searches (apart from chrome) & I use to know about malicious links & scams but now it doesnt. I promoted your av because of this and they thanked me but now it scans with no issues even when I have trojan apk & adware app & fraudulent support numbers from search engines. Uninstalled. 💩

It has an incredible detection of threats. However, it doesn't display any notification if threats are on the device (for example, on download of a malicious apk). That should be corrected.
