[Introducing My Files]
"My Files" manages all the files on your smartphone, just like a file explorer on your computer.
You can also manage files stored on SD cards, USB drives and files in the cloud storage connected with your smartphone at the same time.

Got a replacement phone and transferred data. Every since then My Files keep stopping every time I click on it. There is no way to Uninstall and add back. Nor update. For the 4 seconds that it pops up before shutting down. I can't see none of my files, it's completely blank, and it only show a few headings(basic) at top. Definitely gets a 1 star until fixed.

I normally like the app as I have been a Note user since Note 5. For some reason recently i have been having issues with a lot of the samsung apps. I transferred all my ringtones and notifications from my SD card to a folder in My Files. Now when I go to sound in settings either to ringtones or notifications I do not see any of my sounds. When I look in the folders in My files they are there but when I go to the app for some reason My Files does not allow me to access permissions.

My Files was almost perfect before the update. Removed ability to toggle file view size with a single button, changed interface for selecting multiple files so now if you stop your dragging it automatically changes to the move, forcing you to re-set your selection and adding to it. Please add these back in as features you can select. Probably going to look for a different file manager in the meantime. Updates shouldn't remove features or drastically alter existing UI.

Overall, a decent app. My one complaint is the annoying screen that pops up after every single file I open. This screen asks permission for My Files (and Google) to access and manipulate files on One Drive. If I open and review 15 pics, I am forced to respond to the popup 15 times! One might think that after denying permission the first time that the popup would cease to reappear - WRONG! I don't have a single file on One Drive... nor do I intend to ever put any there! So, STOP IT - PLEASE!

I like it but it doesn't let you put the files in order how you like anymore, and when I'm sending files and choose my location it doubles what I've chosen and sends double of what I've selected. And it isn't clear what "other files" means and I cannot click it to clear space from that category and customer support doesn't know anything about the products to help fix issues and always suggest factory resets which is unacceptable.

Annoying app. It constantly tells me I have limited space (even though I currently have 1.1gb free). It's poorly designed for any of it's functions - file manager, download manager, viewing files, anything it can do, there are a good dozen free apps that do it better. And many more paid ones I'm sure. And it's a system app so it can't be deleted without rooting, making it a useless space hog. It's like Samsung went out of their way to make the app as unusable as possible.

Another pos app from Samsung that I would never use and don't need or want, taking up space and undeletable. It should simply be illegal to force unwanted, unnecessary apps to be taking up space on my phone, especially when they are neither essential for the operation or compatible with my device. Also, there are much better file access options. I paid a lot for my phone with a lot of memory and I want complete control over how it is used.

Premium Tools free trial is now STUCK on my files app. Now I can't open some downloaded files unless I try the free trial, and hope to be able to successfully cancel it before the end of free trial period - which I can't tell how long that is, or be AUTO charged upon the renewal date - can't tell when that would be, with no indication that I can remove my credit card from the account on my phone. No way to erase, decline, or cancel this Premium Tools trial ad, and just open files normally again.

Not sure what's going on but I can not upload files when needed it shows everything is empty when trying to do so even though the files are there. Would be great if this issue was fixed it worked 2 weeks ago and now nothing I've tried everything it is getting to be very frustrating

The problem is the Samsung app My Files uploads data causes notification of Storage space running out. I have contacted Samsung no assistance or reason for this issue given. App uploads more of my files then the storage notification returns. I am unable to transfer, move, download any of my files! Also I did notice that the app is not the same one shown here! Samsung is stealing my data! Unable to uninstall this app!

The same as everyone below! Tried to remove when I did still said 96 percent used up file folder notifications know coming up it's a nightmare! I have VERY little on my phone! This should not be happening!please do a deep dive into this and fix

I have an issue with the app that's quite bothersome since I've tried everything to fix it to no avail. Namely, I managed to add One Drive to My Files without issues but when I try to add Google Drive, it won't work. I tried with my secondary Google Account and it works without issues. Can anyone explain how to address this problem since I can't find a way to solve it. I have a Google One subscription on that account so that can possibly be an issue. Thank you in advance.

Doesn't show all files in the download folder if I push the "download" button, but shows everything when I look "internal storage/download". If I transfer a folder with WiFi Direct to my tablet the folder structure is gone. For example I transfer 2 or 3 folders all the files reach my tablet but not anymore in folders. It's one big mess. Look at ES File Explorer and learn from it.

Workable but not great. Search function not very effective across the entire directory structure. Some menu items are effective and overcome this deficiency to a certain extent. Fundamentally useful but not very dependable.

For a few days the My Files folder is having some issues. I cannot swipe through photographs anymore, instead I click on a photo and need to return to the main folder to look at another photograph. Additionally it doesnt provide the option of deleting a photograph when looking at it. Again, I need to return to the folder to select and delete. Can you please fix this issue immediately?

Fail at deleting files/folders. The process keep on going but no files deleted. Also the notification of "My Files" can't be turned off. I need to force close this app through settings everytime it fails at deleting files/folder and my files' notification can't be turned off. This app is a trash, and I need 3rd party app when I want to delete files on my phone. Such a shame.

This poor app. I wished it worked better in helping have enough memory storage for internal, cloud storage, and external memory storage. Also, in navigating and able to move items and apps to an external hard drives, not able to clearing unused apps and cache, and not able to delete unwanted apps and software for Samsung Galaxy A03s and Samsung Galaxy Tab-A.

I don't understand what the i.pirtance of there being more than one similar app, when thwrrs6an agreement to an operating system. Why are there so many apps that provide the same basic functions? Has anyone stopped to consider that this may be causing system failures, app crashes & apps just not functioning properly, by conflict of similar apps within the same operating system? Just one of many questions.
