Description of Google Opinion Rewards

Answer quick surveys and earn Google Play credit with Google Opinion Rewards, an app created by the Google Surveys team.

Getting started is easy. Download the app and answer basic questions about yourself. We'll then send you surveys around once a week, although it may be more or less frequent. You'll get a notification on your phone when a short and relevant survey is ready for you, and can receive up to $1.00 in Play credit for completing it. Questions can range from, "Which logo is best?" and "Which promotion is most compelling?" to "When do you plan on traveling next?"

basically you send the same surveys again & again. sometimes you send short 1 answer surveys for a dime. Other times you send 7 answer surveys for a dime. once in a long while you send a survey that pays $0.60. But it is free money & I have been using your app for a long time. It is easy & I use the money for games & books. Thank you, though I appreciate the money, you could do so much with more with this app. Also, Tim Hortons doesn't provide receipts when using their app.

Surveys are very short. Sends notifciations so you don't need to use it unless there is one. Probably not worth the time though. Each survey pays about 10 to 70 cents and I got around 2 per month. Over the course of 5 years 1 month and 8 days I've earned $64.79 CAD. Due to how the funds work, it won't work on subscriptions unless you have enough to cover the entire amount. Honestly, not really worth the time. App looks ugly too, not even a dark theme.

it's a good app if you're going to purchase anything with Google pay every month or so because you don't get as many surveys as you might expect. you get around 75 cents per survey usually but it varies. the main this I would use this for is to make purchases in any mobile games, which I would buy like once a month or sometimes twice. if you like mobile gaming then this is a good app where you can save up well.

Ive loved this app, I didnt mind that it took time to accumulate money, or that the surveys were few and far between because I used the money to buy stuff in games. My biggest problem is that the last 5 surveys have been with no reward, and as much as i think giving reviews is a good thing to do it is not what was promised and feels disappointing.

However this is free money just for showing your receipt or competition of s survey they give you. It gives very little, like at most if you're real lucky you will get 1 dollar every month just maybe but it doesn't matter even if you show a receipt that has I over $300 total for purchase it still just gives your $0.12 per each valid physical receipt you show. But you get a bit more from doing surveys or answering a question they ask you, but for me, I gotten like only $0.53 and only once.

Money adds up. Got tons of free stuff on games because of it. It only takes a few seconds each survey, the more you travel about the more you get. Otherwise they don't come in too often, but still. Quick and easy enough when they do.

This app used to be awesome! You got reviews 3x a week or more but now, your lucky to have 1 every 3 months! Idk what's happened but I'm uninstalling 10/15/2023 Update I've gotten alot more surveys in the last few months. I just recently see the receipt scanning and would like to get a invite to do that but, my points add up very quickly and I love this app. It's so worth the 20-30 seconds it takes to complete a survey!! Try it out!

This is the best paying survey app I've used. While you'll never make a fortune it's great for buying new games or in app purchases. The surveys come fairly reg and new types of surveys (& therefore ways to make money) have been added recently. While the amount earned per survey isn't a lot it does add up quickly. I look forward to seeing more updates with new survey types in the near future.

While it's purpose is to gather information about us, you get bonus points which can be used for movies, books etcetera :) I recently updated the app and am not happy with the way it prompts you for receipts or do i want to share it with friends. Its getting too prying and personal.

I recently lost approximately $17-ish in rewards that were nowhere near an expiration date. I've tried every single way I could find to contact them to find out where it went but I keep getting bots that refer me back to the "help" section that provides no answers. There is no way to contact anyone or file a dispute. I've used, and loved this app for approx 7 years and this is my first issue. I am very disappointed with the lack of support.

Update: the app wouldn't open, even after update, but I restarted my phone and it works again. Answering a few questions here and there gives me credits to spend on my apps. I love this app! It really does pay out like it says it does. Just wish there were more surveys available...they are few and far between. I go weeks at a time without a survey and then the survey I get is only worth 10 cents.

At first it was fine. I mean it's a great concept and all and isn't a bad app or anything, it's just dumb to have it installed after a while. I used to get surveys a lot but I haven't had one since probably May, and my amazing amount of 30 cents expired recently. It just feels silly to have it taking up space on my phone when I don't even get surveys and I literally have no money on my account :/

Great app. short surveys that give you a decent amount of credit. Would do slightly longer surveys for an increased amount of credit. I Would like to know how much credit is expiring at each date that you used to be able to do. I am also confused on the options I get for the places I have visited for surveys. There's some that don't make any sense and sometimes you go to lots of different places but don't get any surveys from it.

it's an okay app. Sometimes (I assume) it works off your location history and asks if you went to a location probably to help with maps, but it can ask for receipts which can seem a little invasive for some people, but now you have to opt in so it's not like you are being asked without knowing it would. It doesn't bug you too much and the payouts are generally reasonable for what they ask. $0.10 to $1.00. Not pay the mortgage money... but a chance to try a new paid app on the play store.

It used to be better (more frequent surveys, and better reqarda for saying yes i visited but i dont have the receipt), the receipt tasks aren't as beneficial for users as they used to be, it's encouraging paper receipts, and while paper is not as bad for the environment as plastic, going paperless is still better for the environment overall. I don't earn as much as I used to from this app. It does still provide better rewards than some of those app/game reward apps.

Was okay at first. Doesn't give much per survey but it does add up if you keep doing them. The problem is, Google is rolling off too much money too fast and it kind of makes it pointless for me after using it for years now. Just can't build up enough and aggravating that so much rolls off to prevent you from building up much. Used to build up over $20-25, nowadays I can't possibly build up that much. Only worth it if you are just trying to build up $5-10 at a time for something, it's a great tho

I lost a significant balance (over $100) due to some change in TOS that wasn't announced. Balance was always to expire one year after last earned date, not one year after earning. The app seemingly hadn't been showing decline in balance confirming to me that the expiration policy is truly "at least one survey per year". I also received no warning of my balance expiring, or even notification that it's expiring. Don't waste you time. Final Update: Not worth it anymore. Uninstalling.
