Works really well with the Nintendo Switch (running LineageOS), but there are a few issues I have with it. [Minor] 1: Can't hide the Mantis icon for a completely clean screen look. [Major] 1: Despite press L3+R3 regradless on the Joycons on any other controller, Virtual Mouse mode DOES NOT activate at all. (At least let us change the button shortcut for it like Phase Change on future updates). 2: USB Mouse CAN NOT scroll through the menu (but it can still click).

Updated to a 4* due to overall improvements. Those random right analog jerking problems still seems to exist, just ever so less. Love the virtual mouse, although it seems to only work when it wants to. Example, on cod mobile, things seem to only be clickable with virtual mouse only while in a game. Does not work in lobby or in some other menus. Fix these problems and it'll easily be a flawless 5* experience. Overall, amazing update. Keep it up!

Keeps asking me if I want to go pro. I'd be more willing to do so except: 1. It says $5.00 then the actual charge is $5.99 and 2. (The worst) is that I have to fully re-do the entire process each time to use the app. It doesn't "just work" which should be priority #1. Edit, response to developer response: I don't have any of those types of apps to my knowledge. Also, I tried the wifi one and it didn't work. My desktop is not wifi, only hard wire. And I couldn't delete the old non-wif connection

Bargin at 5$. Can be confusing on 1st time setup. Couple of features that would make this even better. 1.Built in axis test to see value of input. Similar to "gamepad tester" or "game control tester". Would help with deadzones. 2.Save/lock map profile. My issues. On tank combat games. It randomly shoots without pressing the shoot key. I think the joystick map key overlaps the shoot key when turning. Haven't been able to track down the issue completely. But its very annoying.

The app is magnificent. Way better now with the 2.0 update. BUT and this is the only gripe I have. Using a wired controller thru USB OTG seems impossible. I'm assuming it's driver support. But the controller works with apps like Gamepass, and moonlight but if I need to map or setup controls it's a no go. Edit: I'm using the Power A spectra enhanced Wired controller. I tried calibrating it. But the triggers control the right thumb stick

Setup was easy, and when it works, it's great. But after I use the app 2-3 times, MantisBuddy won't start until I connect to my computer and do the setup again. I've had to do this 3 times now and I'm getting tired of it. Update: I followed your suggestions, and it solved the problem I was having. I also did some research, and I think I understand how it works. I still need to do the MantisBuddy setup, but only on reboot of the phone/app because the file is stored in a temp root folder, right?

Been looking for a reliable gamepad mapper. Out of the many i tried: octopus, panda, gamesir(which im using the X2) Mantis is the most reliable. The only reason why its not fully 5 stars is: 1) if i turn off my phone i loss the MantisBuddy program which is needed to run the app. Not entirely a negative, yet for me, it be a hassle to reinstall. 2) I need to load the mantis app then pick the game i want in order to use the custom touch screen mapping. not a complete negative just kinda annoying.

Wow, it got updated! It was good before and it's better now. It still needs to be activated but unlike before you can use another phone to do it. The app still has everything you would expect from other similar apps except it's not locked to any manufacturers and it has the axis inverter options , for those who like that. For a currently free app , it seems to be out doing what's currently available , and that includes the paid ones as well.

Stupendous for what it is, but a little buggy at times. There are moments with my Razr Kishi controller where the joysticks will go completely dead, and they'll only come back after some button spamming. These issues don't seem to crop up in natively controller supported games, so I don't think it's the hardware. But honestly, I can't understate how empowering this app is. Bought premium after 15 minutes with it, don't regret it a bit.

The app is pretty awesome and it's fairly easy to use, but I can't give it 5 stars because there are two issues rendering it unusable as a solution for me. As many have mentioned you can't have more than one input at a time which is a deal breaker. For insurance trying to move with the left stick and move the camera at the same time with the right, or move and attack, etc. Another issue I had was my A button was understood by the app, but it wouldn't activate where I placed it.

Now it does take a long time to get the app running if you run into some sort of issue like I did. But once I was able to trouble shoot it. This app is so damn good and deserves the 5 star. I see they are trying there best to make it easier to setup. Samsung has the priority mode for gaming and that was causing my issue. So not the app. I bought the pro and was worth it.

COD Mobile doesn't register that there's a controller connected to my phone for some reason. Using this as a work around for my Razer Kishi gamepad on Galaxy A71. I actually really like the way that I've set up the buttons to respond to the controller with this app. It allows you to set the keys to only respond to specific parts of the screen and you're able to map it out and fine tune each button yourself this way. It also allows you to bind controller buttons to more than one place on screen.

Im giving it a 2 star because the tutorials are outdated, and I have reactivate Mantis Buddy every time I turn off my phone. When it works, its amazing! Very fun to use and simple to understand. However, for me, I don't think its worth the hassle to reactivate Mantis Mantis every time, especially when I have to turn on my laptop and start the process again just to play my games. If there was a solution to this, Id happily give a better review.

Just two things I'd like to see fixed in future updates: 1. I use a PS4 controller, but all the inputs are shown as if I'm using an Xbox controller. Maybe allow us to switch between device layouts or customize which button is which? 2. Layers are kind of pointless as is. I'd like to see advanced customization and macro options that let us make our own if/else statements like: if on layer 1 and RB is pressed, then switch to layer 2. It would make menu switching much better.

You pieces of.... Free my foot. Yeah, it's free. But not if you actually want to map any of the buttons. You have to buy the pro subscription for that. Which I didn't find out until I went through all the trouble of setting up debugging mode. Could have said that in the beginning to save people some time. Leaches!

I said the instructions needed work, and they are already on it. This is a great company that understands user needs. $6 well spent. My last piece of advice is to change the priority of the layers when making a screen map. e.g. The mantis UI should always be on top so you don't have to move gamepad buttons to add a new button. Also, there should be a way to move large buttons (thumbsticks) to the front or back of the layers. Overall, very usable. 👍

Nope... didn't work. Spent a good 30mins watching the video over and over and redoing the steps as well as clearing cache, everything. Doesn't work. Android 13, on same device, latest version. Game tested: Genshin Impact. Everything is detected, but once launched into the game, controller doesn't work. Update: remote detected and calibrated. Tried both Nintendo and default. All buttons work in test.

+Update. After a wipe of the app, I was able to reinstall and everything came up and worked as it should in PIP. Hope this helps anyone having issues. So frustrating! It worked until I had to reboot my phone because it wouldn't reconnect! Now I just can't for the love, get the windows to pop open and stay in the right spot, so I can input the numbers!! Alot of frustration but you can open the app and wipe cache and everything and start over!
