About Permissions
Due to the working mechanism of Octopus, it requires the same permissions with games you play. In order to cover all games, Octopus needs many permissions to work properly. We guarantee Octopus won't abuse these permissions!

Octopus Pro
Support more functions. e.g.

Swipe
Draw any path and run it! For games require swipe gestures or pattern drawing. Duration is customizable.

Multiply
Hit a position multiple times. Times and duration is customizable.

Order Key
Set multiple keys with hit sequence. For example, you have 3 order keys with key value A. When you press A first time, No.1 A will act. Second time for No.2 A and third time for No.3 A, then loops. It's pretty useful for some scenes like open/close bag button on different positions.

Analog Deadzone
Deadzone is the area where your analog movement is ignored. For example, set deadzone to 0 to 20 and 70 to 100, that means all displacement less than 20% or greater thant 70% will be invalid, thus when you push your analog to 20% position it will act as 0% and 70% as 100%. Left and right analog can set different deadzone respectively.

Profile
One game with multiple different keymaps for various situation? Profile is what you needed. Under keyboard or gamepad mode, profiles can be created respectively.

Customizable Virtual Mouse Shortcut
While play with gamepad, press LS+RS to invoke the virtual mouse and move it with L/R analog and perform click with LT or A. This is quite practical for TV or some situation you don't want to touch your screen. Now, in Pro version, the shortcut for invoking is customizable.

Tried your app again and it wants full access to my phone including photos, body sensors, contacts, data and pretty much everything. It says it needs permissions for the app to stay alive. That's very suspicious and the fact I don't know who your selling the data to is also super suspicious. I wouldn't download this app unless you want a company to have all your data in your phone.

Only using this app since there's not much available, tends to crash a lot when running games. Only saving grace is that it doesn't close the game out completely, it's just annoying to have to switch back over to the game several times a session. I have to Google framework fix installed as well so I'm not sure what the issue is. Should any of these be fixed that'll be an instant 5 stars

The mapping is nice and responsive. But the game I use it for, the launcher keeps saying the game has crashed but it hasn't. My session is still active but it takes back to the launcher. I can still play the game no problem, it's just pretty inconvenient that I have to keep jumping between my game session and the launcher when it freaks out.

It's a very good app. The reason why I'm giving one 🌟 it's because the app keeps running in the background. I force to stop the app, and in the moment less expected there it is running again. It slow down the phone. And other thing, I'm trying to play it with Super Mecha Champions and it crash. Don't even start.

My friend showed me this app. I was skeptical, so I read the description. It advertised that it worked with PS controllers, so I wiped the dust off of my PS4 controller. But, it turns out, none of the buttons I pressed did anything. When I tried to map a key, nothing I did would map it. According to the in-game manual itself, my gamepad was not compatible with the app, even though it was specifically advertised that it worked with said gamepad.

At first I loved it, easy to learn for inexperienced mappers & key effectiveness was dead on 9/10. But all of a sudden the game started crashing, each crash coming sooner than the last until eventually i had to Uninstall the app just to play normally. The game itself didn't crash but its a major inconvenience in Online play. If you could fix that bug, I'd have zero complaints

Took some troubleshooting, but the guides were decent, and once it is up and running it works great. I use it in FF Dimensions. Using a Switch controller, the performance lag was unplayable, but a PS4 controller works like a charm. I had to use the pro version. It would be nice if the free version actually let you fully test to see if it works. Otherwise it's a bit of a gamble if for whatever reason it wouldn't work on the target game. If it weren't for that gamble I'd give it five stars.

This concept is amazing, however poor execution of key features/placement of advertisements is what diminishes this app. I understand you need to make money and you offer an Add Free upgrade to the app, but having ads just jump up in the middle of a game because you accidentally pressed octopus otherwise is obnoxious. Also whenever you program the right analog stick on the left side of the screen it makes the joystick jump back and forth. Lastly the permissions for this app are SUSPICIOUS please change that.

Using Galaxy Note 9 with wired xbox one controller through otg cable. Mapping, sizing, and using were all simple and easy to setup. I was unable to map the right/ left triggers and also the right analog stick. If those worked, this would be a 5 star app worth $$. If you don't need those buttons then this will be perfect for you.

I had to uninstall. This keymapper is great for games where you only have to tap a single button at a time to play through? But the built-in D-Pad usually only registers it as a single button press. So for games where you need to 'hold' left or right to move, it's pretty obnoxious. My workaround for this was to map the indvidual D-Pad buttons, which yields better results. But the buttons tend to get 'stuck' this way. This issue persists across mulltiple gamepads. Only Octopus produces this.

This has been an amazing experience with this app. I haven't found any other like it. I'd rate it a 5, but I've had a couple issues. One issue was whenever trying to map a combination of buttons, you may require at least 1 button to be actively set as a blank button. For instance, I tried mapping LB + RB but have LB and RB set up separately for different skills. When I would try to press LB + RB it would trigger each skill or action simultaneously.
Fighter Builder
It's technically usable without paying, but I strongly recommend just biting the bullet and buying Pro. Not just because it gets rid of the intrusive ads, but also because I feel the developers deserve the money for creating such a high-quality app. This is one of the most impressive and user-friendly mappers I've used, and I feel it's worth the price of Octopus Pro. I've been playing Rockman X DiVE with it and it's far more responsive than trying to play it with a touch screen.

This app works ok for me and I purchased pro, but there are some problems that I have encountered that could easily be fixed. This is only specific to the brawl stars. When using characters that throw items in a arc you cant use the hold option for the analog stick because it doesn't allow you to get the full length of your throw. And if you use the release option it will reach the full length but be incredibly fast and not easy to control.

Mapping the controls were easy, but playing an app that you've already had installed and forcing the user to restart the game from stratch by switching on draw over other apps was messed up. It may not be your problem but I just can't say this app is trustworthy at this point, I exit from the octo app to see if my accounts were safe on the apps that I used and I find out that my profile is gones for good. You lot can hang yourselves.

It used to be good, now it's trash. I remember playing PUBG with it and it was awesome. Also was able to play with some emulators through the key mapping. Now it just sucks. Buttons don't work half the time, let inputs aren't registered properly, keys not even registering properly. I used a Galaxy s10+ and an Xbox Remote. Never had issues a while back and decided to download this again so I can play Pokemon through John GBA emulator. I never had issues before last year, and now I do. Solve this.

I downloaded this app because I wanted to play a browser game with a controller, but I found a few problems. I could not use chrome, nor the home screen shortcut I had, as a listed "game". I tried to use a different browser, but it didn't have fullscreen support. I tried to contact the developers, to find that the only English information was discord and WhatsApp forums. It seems like a simple problem that has been so far overlooked, on the part of excluding chrome at least. Still, I was disappointed.

I downloaded and tried it in free mode. The app worked pretty well with the defaults, but the ads are a nightmare. I decided to purchase pro, because I wanted to try all the advanced features and remove ads. Now the app crashes every time I load a game, I can't even use the free features of this app.

Too many intrusive ads. Once you threatened me to watch an ad and tell me that I can't launch a game (games they don't even own) until I do, you're gone. Also you'll have to start your games from scratch, seeing that you have to launch a brand new instance of the game to use with this keymapper. You won't lose your games from a pre-installation, but it's a hassle that you can't import those saved data. Does it work? Sure. But the obnoxiousness of the ads and the threats? Um, no. 1 star.
