MSmartHome is now upgraded to SmartHome, providing more comprehensive smart home services to you.

SmartHome supports home appliances including air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, fans, ovens, washers & dryers, dishwashers, and more. Integrations with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT provide powerful voice control and automation capabilities. With SmartHome, you can control and monitor all your smart home devices in one place.

[Access Permissions]
The following access permission is required for the SmartHome (formerly MSmartHome) app to provide necessary services. If you do not allow them, you can still use the app except for the related services.

- Bluetooth: Find and connect to nearby devices via Bluetooth or BLE.
- Location: Detect home WLAN network information to add device. Check your location to automate actions when location changes. Search for local weather information in "Scene" function.
- Camera: Scan QR codes to add device. Upload photo to report a repair or feedback.
- Album: Scan saved QR codes. Edit your profile photo. Upload photo to report a repair or feedback.

Super Duper Frustrating - won't add/find device. Half the pop up instructions are not in English (is set correctly in settings) I understand the irony of controlling a microwave by voice - but the app should still at least function. And right about now if you could give negative stars I would - and I typically laugh at the reviews that say that. Grrrrrrrr

Google Assistant integration is completely broken. Every time I go to link my MSmartLife account in the Google Home app, it takes me back to this one to accept. After clicking accept, it doesn't add anything to my home & doesn't link my account either. The rest of this app is pretty bare bones & seems to focus more on coding its iOS-esque interface than the rest of the features that make an actually functional app. I personally bought a Toshiba Microwave that told me to use this app & can't even adjust the number of seconds you're microwaving something for. I hope you like cooking exclusively in one minute intervals, because it's all you get. Please add a tab in the app itself to link with services (Alexa & Google) so it's not such a pain & please fix the linking process as well. Also, please fix the cooking time feature so we can at least specify the number of seconds. Until then, this app really sucks.

Does not work! won't even connect to WiFi. I went through the sign in process, entered the code that came via email, and this dumb app keeps saying it's not registered. Tried with 2 different phones, 2.4 GHz, uninstall and re install - nothing works. Just another made in China, poor quality software. The low rating is well justified. Don't soil your phone with this cr#p! Too bad... I was looking forward to controlling my new Toshiba microwave with Alexa.

The previous app was better, though still not perfect. However, I could manually adjust all items on my AC units, such as turning off button beeps and the LEDs. This new app does not allow this. I really miss those features and hope they are added to this app very soon!

Forced to migrate to this app from Midea, the only devices I have are two Midea A/C units. The old app from Midea showed me the temperatures and power status on the main screen and I now have to select each individual device to determine temperature and power status, making for a horrendous user experience. Worse still, I cannot go back to the Midea app -- I'm now stuck with this bad UI.

The previous app that I installed when I got my new AC worked great. I was forced to go to this app which is pathetic. With the previous app, once opened it immediately let you turn on or off your unit, change temperature settings, fan settings, etc. This new app takes forever to open period (yes I have cleaned my cache out, removed, reinstalled, anything you can think of.). Once you get it open and try to turn on/off, adjust temperature, or change the fan speed, it just sits there. It sucks!

Horrible!!! The new app doesn't wanna work, and it keeps resetting the temp in Celsius. We keep changing it to Fahrenheit, but it will not stay. While ago, the whole app was doing what it wanted & I couldn't control it. Plus, only one of us in the house can use the app. If my husband tries using it, it logs me out & he has to login and then he can use it. This whole app needs an overhaul

Doesn't Stay Connected. Regretting buying this unit. What good is it if I can't use the smart app? It gives you no ability to reconnect your wifi to a unit already on the app??? Why? Instead it just asks if your network or password has changed or is a weak signal and none of those instances apply. I have a 5 & 2.4ghz networks and it's no longer finding the latter. Lame! The worst part of that is that a list with no solution to reconnect it is so immensely laughable. What are you doing devs?

The new app was ok until the dehumidifier lost connection for some reason. When trying to reconnect, this app doesn't allow spaces in the password field, making it unable to connect to WiFi. There is no reason for this decision as every other device on my network uses a space in the password without issue. Now I have to see if I can reconnect using the old app in order to get the device connected again. Feedback submitted so please just fix the app.

I'm not sure why I was forced to switch to this app. It does look a little nicer than the older midea app but it does really work. The app constantly says my device is on when it is not, sometimes nothing happens when I change the settings, and occasionally it won't connect to the server. Midea, please get it together. The more I use it the worse it gets. I had to drop it down to one star.

Missing features of the old Midea Air app. Edit: AC control is completely missing the ability to silence the unit. It's not hiding on another page. The schedule ability no longer has the calendar view, which makes complex schedules nearly impossible. Also nit hiding on another page. Edit2: Absolutely useless. No matter the setting. The scheduler will only set the temperature to the max

I like the dehumidifier however the app has some significant issues. It appeared to work ok the first day while on the local wifi but a day later when I left the home I had difficulty. It seems to connect but my settings appear to be lost and when I try to reset them it doesn't work and I can't tell why because the error messages are in Chinese. Hoping an app and/or firmware update resolves the issues.

App shows the A/C units, temperature and if they are on or off. Every option takes you to blank screen. The only use for this app is seeing what the temperature is in the room, you cannot make any adjustments. I see in the reviews the company says to submit more information through the feedback in the app, except that does not work either.

First the bad. FIX THE TIME ISSUE!!! I live in CST zone and the microwave auto sets to EST. Only off by 1 hour but it is still a nuisance. You need to add a drop down so we can select our correct time zone. Took several attempts to connect the microwave to my network but it ended up being a setting in my router causing the issue. Changed the setting and it linked up correctly. Alexa voice commands are excellent so far.

This app continues to stop working. After being forced to install this app by the old app that worked just fine. I am not able to successfully sink my new Midea dehumidifier to this newer (non functional app). The application stops mid sink and goes back to the start page of the sink your device. I consider this a huge time killer. I have run through all the processes the troubleshoot and it repeats the same failure. Deleting application cache doesn't work either.

Absolute garbage. The old app worked just fine. This app will not connect my phone to the device. The new app crashes during setup. I have sent in several support requests with no answer and it has been several months. I had to make another Google account to connect my phone back to my device with the old app. Stick with the old app folks, don't migrate your account.

Worst interface I've ever seen! It all looks great. It simply doesn't work! It simply cannot keep a connection to the air-conditioner. I have two air-conditioners in two separate rooms of a small house less than 30 feet from an excellent router. My connection to every other electronic device works great. It's the software or firmware. In a word... Terrible! And I will not contact your support team. You see the same problems everyone is having. You know the problem exists. Fix it!

FIX MY APP! My AC turns on by itself every day even if it's freezing outside. I have no routines to turn it on. When you forced me to switch from the Midea app to this MSmartHome one, you neglected to remove the old routines from it. Since I can't access it, you need to delete those. I have to unplug the AC now to keep it off. Why are routines from the old app still active? FIX THIS!!!
